Porto Mare Hotel

It was a great location to start our European vacation.

Lovely hotel with fabulous grounds and plenty of facilities to keep guest entertained. Good location close to the Lido & a regular bus service to town if you don’t fancy the 30 minute walk.

Top marks to Porto Mare hotel for a most enjoyable stay. Friendly reception, efficient service and a very comfortable room. Excellent buffet breakfast and reasonably priced meals in choice of restaurants. Spacious gardens and wide range of leisure facilities. Useful shuttle bus service downtown. The fact that so many guests were return visitors is a testimony to popularity of the hotel.

Our only concern is ........where is the 5th Star we have staying 5 Star hotels that don’t match this standard. EXCELLENT, quiet room, great view, superb breakfast choice, although a buffet is was kept wonderfully clean and tidy, the staff were very smart and attentive, alas the coffee was a bit strong for our licking

Arrived at hotel early and they had our room ready which was fantastic. Large spacious room with a balcony overlooking the sea. Room was immaculate. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pools looked gorgeous but as we only had the weekend to stay we explored the area as much as possible, so didn't really use the facilities in the hotel. Free shuttle bus to the city provided by the hotel. Breakfast was good with a wide variety on offer. Ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the food was good. We would definitely go back here.
