We stayed there for classes we had in Ventura. It was more like staying in a guest bedroom than a hotel room: not enough adequate plugs, no reception for Local Stations, Wireless not working, no hair dryer (may have to call), no laundry bag, no exhaust fan in bathroom, shower surges hot and cold (pressure hi/low), no microwave, parking is limited and spaces too small. Nightmare getting on freeway. NO handicapped spots we observed. No elevator- you lug your bags up stairs. Room very small, no counter space. Just very difficult for practical life in this age, especially for multiple days.. You are clearly paying for the view but its really run down and its clear they are just collecting money and need to re-invest. IMPORTANT- the place is north of Ventura proper by a LONG way. If you have business in Ventura over the weekend traffic between the hotel and Ventura is CONSTRUCTION GRIDLOCKED and there is no exit for the hotel from the NB side, so you sit in traffic for 45 minutes just to go further north and turnaround and sit in SB traffic too. Nice place to visit but we will not be returning without major changes (and when construction is done).
