Busy and Basic
I have been shying away from staying at the Garden Inn brand hotels. This hotel brand seems to always be outdated and over priced. This hotel room was decent but the shower curtain had rips and stains and the room was incredibly crammed. The window allowed so much air in that I had to keep the heat on at 76+ just to be comfortable. In addition the microwave didn’t even work properly. For the price and “upscale” illusion this hotel presents, the reality was quite disappointing.

Experienced traveler and I was very surprised!
Stayed a weekend here with my child to enjoy the mall and local activities. Great area and felt safe. I don’t usually take the time for many reviews unless my experience is extremely bad or really amazing. And this was an amazing experience! We were welcomed by friendly employees at the front desk who even allowed us to check into our room couple hours early since it was ready, which was great after traveling to get there. Room was spacious and clean Great amenities in the room (hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and soap and lotions, coffee, and hot cocoa, a refrigerator and microwave and good size TV). Efficient and friendly Shuttle service to the airport and also every two hours back-and-forth from the mall was so convenient! The restaurant inside the hotel was so good! Great options and decent price. The food was so tasty. The service and the restaurant was amazing. The most tender ribs and large portion salads. The pool was a decent size and they keep the temperature So well we were able to swim and towels provided. Highly recommend for any type of trouble to stay at this Hilton Garden Inn. Will definitely stay here again next time in town!

Hidden upcharges
Total price on Hotels.com listed $116. Property stated they had an airport shuttle. I called to ensure that was the case, and was included in our reservation. Hotel agent confirmed it was. Upon arriving, learned we had to pay for parking if using the shuttle at a rate of $10/day. I mentioned I was told it was included with stay. She said the shuttle was, but parking was not. Very misleading, hidden fee. Was then charged $179 by the property for my stay, not the $116 I had booked at. At the end of the day, my $116 I thought I would be paying, turned into $260.

Upgraded version of Super 8
This is very old property and feels like upgraded version of Super 8. We did not get house keeping service on 2nd day. I understand they don't change the bedsheets and towels everyday. But, they should have vacuum the room and make the bed. I would not pay $130/night. Parking and Breakfast are also not free.
