La Quinta Inn & Suites Evansville

When we arrived we went to our room. Upon walk-in in the room had not been cleaned. The bed was unmade and there was black dog hair covering the sheets and bed. We called the front desk and were told to come down. They gave us another room but acted like it was no big deal. Not a great way to start the trip. Especially since we had 4 children with us at the time as we were the first in my family to arrive. The new room was fine. But we were kept up that night by barking dogs in the hotel. The breakfast was average. Eggs were cold. All in all I think you can find a better quality for the same price nearby.

It was a good trip. Everything was clean when I returned after a work day.

This hotel is amazing! The lobby was beautiful and spacious. There were many amenities and snacks and drinks available to purchase in the lobby for your stay. The room itself was huge and clean and beautiful. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds that I've slept on in a hotel ever. The only thing that this hotel needs to work on is its desk staff. When we walked in to check-in we were not greeted, the girl behind the counter never cracked a smile, and even when we did finally engage she obviously did not want to be there. Other than staff training, which is definitely needed in a customer service type business, motels perfect and I will stay there again

La Quinta Inns provide relatively consistent service. Room rates are competitive. This area has decent restaurants, and shopping is not far.
