This property has been a go-to for us when we travel to ATL, however it has been a couple of years and the quality of service has declined greatly. We arrived for check in around 3:15pm and waited until about 4:15pm for a room to become available. The blow dryer in the room sounded like it was about to blow up when I turned it on and it was barely blowing hot air, so we took it down to get a replacement and they did not have one readily available, so they said they would bring one up... one never arrived. It was a blessing that the second reservation that I made for this property 5 months ago was unable to be accommodated on the week of reservation, because we were put in a much more organized and attentive facility.

We like staying at Hyatt Place because of the sofa area for relaxing and watching the television (eating/snacking). Refrigerator. Beds and pillows are great. Good breakfast. Gwen made delicious eggs and sausage links for breakfast. We are very tired when we arrive. We can get something hot to eat for dinner and not have to leave the hotel!

Room was nice. The air conditioner was very loud. There was no shower curtain. I had a great breakfast. Guan in the kitchen gave us good service and great tips about restaurants offsite. The transportation to the airport was very convenient. We had an entire day before our flight left and we were able to go to Midtown on the Marta. All in all it was a wonderful experience. I had stayed there before pre pandemic. The staff at the desk wore masks and we saw the housekeeping staff comply as well.

I booked this location, paid in advance as well as, got the insurance. The hotel claimed that they overbooked the rooms and advised me to call a number for Hotels.com that would have us setup at another hotel. Needless to say, after two hours of being on hold and finally getting someone to answer the phone, the representative advised me to go back to the hotel to make sure that I received a refund. After trying to get help for the fifth time from the hotel staff member on duty he finally decided to call Hotels.com. He initially didn't want to help my wife and I, had a smirk on his face the entire time like us not having rooms was funny. I will never book or recommend anyone to book at this Hyatt Place location again. I'm just thankful that the representatives from Hotels.com helped me get my money back, because the hotel staff member on duty did care if we had a room are not, eventhough we had traveled from out of town.

This is a decent hotel, but don't expect post-pandemic what you expected pre-pandemic. We asked for towels for a family of four but didn't receive them until late in the afternoon that day. There were not enough room cleaning staff and towel washing staff to go around. Our room's faucet was loose and we had to be careful with turning it off or on. This hotel offers breakfast, but it consists of pre-made, pre-wrapped food items. The Jimmy Dean (turkey, egg, and cheese) biscuit was pretty good along with their banana nut bread slices. Overall, this hotel served our needs, but the top-notch service that I had come to expect Is not there yet. This is not to say that the workers were not trying, they were. They just need more people to help them carry out the top-notch service that they have been known for in the past.

The parking lot and number of spaces is extremely limited. If you get a spot don't move your vehicle until you check out.

I was very unsatisfied with my stay. Didnt get check in until a hour later due rooms wasn't ready. My air conditioner kept going out. How can you accommodate me for the terrible stay

Several things made it a very disappointing stay. My family of 4 stayed for 2 nights. Although the front desk staff was polite and kind they were not able to follow through with our basic requests. We had 2 towels for 4 people. The way the shower head is positioned caused the water to spray all over and we used one of the two towels to soak it up. It took nearly 24 hours to get a couple extra towels. Our toilet seat was extremely loose and no one ever came to fix it after I requested it. In addition, upon our arrival we asked for a working fridge so that we could save our food but that didn’t happen until the next day, so definitely money down the drain. This stay was definitely not worth the money spent.
