Hotel Lirico

Det er et rigtig fint by hotel, værelset virkede lidt slidt, men ellers ok. Der er en venlig betjening både ved morgenmaden og i receptionen. Vi fik anbefalet en god restaurant af receptionisten.

Been to the lirico many times. Great location. Near termini station. Tony on the reception is excellent. Rooms are quite small but adequate. Michelangelo on desk too was very pleasant

Walkable to the Trenini, clean, quiet room and clean bathroom, nice continental breakfast. Room had TV, blow dryer, spacious compared to many. Very pleasant hosts, eager to help. Typical European decor, fabric covered walls, clean Italian tile floors. Lots of stairs, so call ahead if you need help with baggage. Close to Opera house, area seemed safe, trash on ground typical of all of Rome these days :(

My teenage sons and I had a great stay at this hotel. Don't be put off by the peeling paint on the external walls, as it does look as though it needs some external decoration. However, inside it is well decorated, clean and pleasant. The staff are really friendly, helpful, and will make recommendations for restaurants etc, including booking tables on your behalf. We had a three bed room (a twin and bed settee) which was fine. The size was good and the room was clean and tidy. It could have done with tea making facilities because after a hot day walking around Rome, you need a drink! The hotel location is excellent, 5 minutes walk from the main railway station, and about 20 minutes to the Colloseum and the city centre sights. Its also good for buses across to the Vatican (1.5 Euro) per person. We had an excellent stay and would use this hotel again.
