Hampton Inn Williamsport

I can’t say enough about this hotel! It was clean and comfortable, and staff were all really helpful and friendly. The location is great! The indoor pool was maintained well, clean, and the water was a perfect temperature. We loved it and will be coming back!

My boys and I stayed Friday and Saturday when we came down from CT to go to the Penn State game. We had a wonderful stay. The pool, the room, the staff, and the complimentary breakfast were all excellent. We will be back.

I stayed here for a week while working from my hotel room. Excellent experience and didn't have any problems. The grocery store across the road and restaurants in easy walking distance made meals easy. Internet access was a good speed and reliable.

Horrible. Stormy night. Customers queued up. One incredibly accommodating woman behind the desk dealing with nothing short of chaos. Malodorous lobby, worn and stained upholstered furnishings in waiting area. Room was 67* and smelled damp. I turned my bed down only to find unlaundred linens. Musty, body oil scented with what appeared to be remnants of a scab and food crumbs. I returned to the desk with a photo of the sheets. The very pleasant woman behind the desk emergency paged her colleague from his break to assist me. I requested two fresh sets of sheets and eight pillowcases. Due to the untidy nature of the pillows, I doubled fresh pillowcases on each pillow. With fresh linens, we slept well. Downtown Williamsport is a nasty, economically depressed area, and locals occupying the seedy neighborhood only make the neighborhood more unfriendly. We were going to skip breakfast due to the comprehensive untidiness of the hotel, but decided to get coffee in the dining area. There were no lids for cups, no napkins. The poor woman working alone in the pantry was not able to keep up with demand. This Hampton Inn requires a complete renovation and should hire a larger staff. I will request compensation from Hilton for our unhappy and uncomfortable stay. Williamsport is pathetic.
