Disappointed
The hotel was overwhelmed with Hasidic Jew families. Apparently the families all take off at the same time every year and overwhelm the hotels at Bal Harbor. They occupy every common space in the hotel letting their kids run around and throw trash on the ground that they leave there for the house keepers to clean up. No elevator courtesy as the kids and the adults step right in front of you if you are in line. They will also step in front of you on coffee lines and block the energy ways of the hotel. Every night there was literally 100 kids in the lobby not counting their parents who are not watching there children, we could not get a seat any where at the 2 pools or on the beach unless you put your name on a waiting list. Wish I would have been given a heads up at check in as I had no idea that his happens every year at the same time. I would have checked out early and went to another hotel. Through it would get better after the weekend; however, on Monday It only got worse. I was stunned and disappointed. I never complain about anything unless it’s a big deal so this is very out of character.
