Stopped here for an overnight stay en route to Italy from the UK. Despite being absolutely shattered after the drive we had a few drinks in the garden followed by a lovely meal in the restaurant in the evening. Excellent Hotel on the outskirts of Stuttgart
We were pleased with our stay at Hotel Kulinarium. In particular, we enjoyed the hotel's peaceful setting on the outskirts of Stuttgart, excellent breakfast, good wifi, and free parking. And best of all, the price was reasonable.

Beautiful spot. For trip with kids or without. Three nice goats to visit on the property. Only thing to know is don’t count on laundry. It is 1 small machine that takes 4 hours per cycle and need 8 $.50 pieces to operate. Food was great.

Food was excellent and breakfast had the best variety of food out of all hotels we stayed at. Rooms were a good size and clean. Liked that there was a kitchenette in the room even though we didn't stay long enough to use it. Did not like that they didn't seem to be expecting us as the room did not have the beds made up for 4 people to sleep, only for 2. We had to figure out how to set up the couch bed on our own and did not have extra sheets or pillows in the room for the couch bed. Also, that was extremely hard as it was not even a mattress, only very stiff leather so not very comfortable to sleep on.

Changed my opinion of German bacon!
I was really worried I let my family down when we checked in to this hotel. There is kitchen construction going on and lots of racket and jackhammer noise. The carpet on the stairs was filthy. But once we got to our rooms and the workmen stopped we were very pleased. Very clean room and nice modern bathrooms. Nice and quiet for sleeping. But the best was yet to come. the breakfast here is EXCELLENT! Eggs, breads, asst of meats and cheeses and perfect bacon that has me second guessing the thick hickory smoked USA bacon I've preferred my entire life. I've had 100s of breakfasts in Europe and this one alone stands out for the bacon. definitely go there and enjoy.
