Good place to stay
We have stayed here multiple times and love the location and rooms. There are a couple of things they need to upgrade in my opinion. 1. The bed mattresses are very firm and pillows are not comfortable at all so you might want to bring your own if possible. 2. They really need to offer a coffee station for guests. There is a breakfast spot but we don't eat breakfast and didn't want to sit at a table just for coffee. Other than that this is a great place to stay and close to anything you want to do in the Quarter or Business District.

The location was fabulous! Easy access to all great restaurants and bars. Was between Bourbon and Royal. The front desk staff were courteous and friendly. Perfect place to stay if you’re not wanting to pay $300 nightly. A little dated but definitely an Old New Orleans feel. Would stay again.

Great location, friendly staff
Family of 4 stayed in 2 queen bed studio. Room was clean, good size, had a large vanity table/mirror, lounge chair, and decent size bathroom. Breakfast was extra cost so we opted to get it elsewhere since NOLA has so many restaurant options to choose from. Front desk staff friendly, helpful. Free water bottles in lounge area is a plus. Location is great, not right on Bourbon but within steps of the main street. Felt safe the entire time. There's a security guard that walks the property. Our room did not a window facing the street but we were able to hear the street vendor music at night. Didn't bother us much because we sleep with white noise. Would def come back again. Price was good.

Not horrible, but I expected more
The inset for the door handle was broken (as if someone had forced the door), The inside metal bracket, which helps hold the latch in place was warped and missing screws. We reported it shortly after arriving, that first night. They promised us 3 different times, during our stay, that they would look at and fix it... they did not. If someone were to push hard enough, they could have probably forced our door, even if locked. When they brought new towels, they failed to replace soap/shampoo etc... it's the little things.

Favorite Historic Hotel in the French Quarter
We stay here yearly for our anniversary trip the weekend before Christmas. It is close enough to all the attractions of the French Quarter, but still quiet and laid back area. Parking is some of the easiest in the quarter. Walking distance to everything in the Quarter, but also short walk to Canal and Warehouse District.

The Hotel Mazarin is a beautiful historic hotel in the French Quarter. It has an excellent and convenient location. Our room was very quiet despite Bourbon Street bing less than half a block away. An excellent choice for a romantic get away.

Friendly reception staff. Room was spacious. Only real complaint is the housekeeping staff like to talk loudly and early in the morning so they woke us up every morning.
