Dodgy check in
The check in process was terrible….when we got there the building was closed and there was nobody at reception. we had to make two phone calls to get the guy to come and open the door for us and this took over an hour and a half. He apologise and gave us a couple of bottles of beer but it was not a good check in and we were scared that we had lost our money. because there was nobody at the property most of the time to service the room we ran out of toilet paper and had no one to ask if we needed anything. One day we found another couple standing outside not able to get in so we let them in which was pretty poor because there was nobody at reception to see them so they just sat there until somebody showed up. it also says online that check-in is at 9 am but this is not true.

Perfect place to stay before cruise
Excellent guest house. Notified 7Bell’s House in advance my arrival time via WhatsApp, used an Airalo eSIM for data since we’re from the United States. He was there and checked us in quickly. Room was clean. Stefano was friendly and professional. There’s a small elevator. Next morning we walked 10 minutes with luggage to Largo Della Pace for the free shuttle to the cruise terminal. It was much easier than I expected. We arrived a little too early at the cruise terminal, my advice is arrive at 10am, they don’t allow passengers into the building until 10am.

Everything you could want or need at this property. Attentive host; spotless and spacious room with huge bathroom; comfortable bed; location convenient to cruise port and 7 min walk from train station. Nice Italian style breakfast with danish, cold cereal, fruit juice and coffee and tea. Recommend!

Difficult to find. Clear instructions should be sent ahead of time. Located across from the museum. Photo attached. Find 7 Bells House on the directory and hopefully someone will be there to let you in. Very important to set up a check in time prior to arriving.

This property was very clean and quiet. There was a balcony for all guests which overlooked the city. Although I had breakfast included it was not available during the early morning hours prior to our need to travel to excursions. Our room was tidy but the bed could use new mattress and I found the shower stall to be a little small. All in all it is a great place close to many restaurants, a flea market, the cruise ship port.
