The back entrance to the hotel was trashy with broken chip bag and chips scattered. The entrance to the elevators and inside the elevators was old, worn, and in need of paint. The room and bathroom was large and clean. We had a handicapped bathroom and the shower curtain was too short so water splashed out on the floor. There is no breakfast provided, but there is a small restaurant open a few hours each day. We did not try it.
Now the major problem. We took our luggage down to the lobby on a cart to check out. I waited in line at the desk while my husband brought the car around to the front from the gated parking lot, which we had to pay $10 for. There was only 1 hotel clerk on duty. The man in front of me was disputing a charge on his bill. I took the luggage cart on out and we loaded while the man was still trying to get the clerk to see the error on the bill. My husband pulled forward to a parking space while I went back inside to check out. I wanted a copy of my bill to check my charges so I waited again until the man gave up and left. I got a copy of my bill, checked it and walked toward our car. My husband was standing by the tailgate and gesturing. When I got close enough to hear, he said a man had just opened the tailgate, stole our laptop bag with laptop, passwords, 2 debit cards, plane reservation, and hotel reservation inside. The thief jumped into a car an accomplice was driving. It had no license plate on the back. It was definitely a well-practiced maneuver.
