We had to get out of the Sarasota area because of hurricane milton and we could not have made a better decision

Not bad

The owner was very friendly and helpful. The bed wasn’t too good with my back. The a/c, my husband loved. He’s hot natured and loves when we get a room with cold cold air. Very convenient to Apalachicola, be seconds be on Main Street.

Couple's Stay in Apalachicola

Small independent hotel. Looks recently refurbished. Clean and one mile to city center. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Simple, clean, convenient.

Hotel is an older hotel, but convenient and located a couple minutes from downtown. Room was comfortable and clean, air was cold, shower was hot. Front desk was very polite and accommodating. Only suggestion I would have is maybe have an extra blanket available in the room. Otherwise would definitely stay here again. Appalachicola is such a cool little town!

Worth the stay.

Front desk person very friendly, had made note of my request for ground floor and let me know that to do that he gave me an upgraded room at no additional cost. It was very nice for an older yet upgraded property.

There was only 1 issue that I wasn’t happy about and that was the bed not being really comfortable, other than that we will stay again. Clean, polite and very friendly.

Thunder

my only complaint was the aluminum box the mattress sat on and every time I sat on the bed in would “thunder” (metal flexing). Fortunately there was a thunder storm overnight and my neighbors probably dismissed the sound as that….. the room & amenities were very good for the price. Good value.
