Staff that checked me in, was quick, polite and very pleasant. Overall the room was decent for it's size and location. Good for going to sleep, showering and then going about the day.
Booked a city view room, and was able to see the manhattan bridge from the bathroom and bedroom window. It was a nice touch.
Bathroom and room itself were extremely clean with the exception of one thing. Half way through my night, I pulled my comforter further down on the opposite of where I was laying, and discovered dried blood. There were multiple splotches of it near the top and further down going towards the middle of it. I was completely disgusted after this and then started thinking what else wasn't clean. I'm not sure how a hotel could miss something like that.
It appears as if the linen doesn't get washed and the houskeeper flipped the comforter in hopes of it never being found.
It's a shame because until then, I was pleasantly surprised and happy with booking this place last minute.
