Evening ruined
We turned up around 530pm as we walked into the two rooms the fire alarm starting going off so we left our bags and carried our 2 babies and 6 year old away from the rooms. The staff didn’t know which way to send us and there was a lot of confusion. Eventually we found our way to lobby where everyone else in the hotel was stood while the fire alarm is still going off. No staff members where around to explain what’s going on or tell us where to stand, it was freezing cold as well. People were shouting and swearing. After a long 15 minutes staff member showed up and started talking to people while one woman was drunk and swearing and being aggressively rude and shouting. After a while we had to tell staff they need to deal with her and in the end we had to call the police as nobody else was. After an hour of standing around with no real guidance we finally where allowed back to the rooms but were trying to avoid the drunk lady. The rooms were not cleaned, pubes all over the bathroom (we told staff and they didn’t make effort to clean it or offer any type of compensation due to the fact we had to end up cleaning bother bathrooms before bathing our children) We ordered room service and were given a plant based burger instead of the meat one, food was cold and overpriced for what it was. Overall we were happy to leave in the morning and get away. Staff need training on fire alarm procedures, dealing with drunk/angry guests who are scaring young children and better cleaners

Disappointing
Our stay was ok. It was nothing special and we wouldn't go back. First of all, paying £8 to use their car park when you've already paid to stay with them. The rooms and hallways are drab and old fashioned. We were disappointed that our booking was for a queen bed and we got a standard double and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned particularly well. I'm vegan and the menu didn't really have any option for me so we ordered in a pizza to take to the room. A table of 4 next to us ordered in a chinese and sat in reception chatting & eating so when ours arrived we just started to eat where we were. Whilst the table next to us was still eating, we got asked to return to our room. No outside food in reception. When i challenged the staff member he said that he didn't realise they were eating. Could have been genuine but nonetheless embarrassing for us and he never did approach the other table who carried on eating. We chose the hotel for late check out so to be awoken by housekeeping at 8am banging on the door next to us shouting housekeeping and then sounding as if they were moving all the furniture made us get up early. At breakfast (which is not cheap), staff member was so disinterested and clearly bored. I asked her whether there was a vegan option. Her response was 'I don't think we have one. We've got veggie sausages but i don't think they are vegan'. Overall disappointing but it was overall kept well, nice bar and staff generally nice.

Weekend break.
Was put into a disabled room, it had no pictures on the walls, there was no where to hang anything, no hooks or wardrobe. No draws to put ghings in. The sink was cracked, big chip out of toilet seat, loo seat had all stains over it. So wasn't impressed, considering it was the Hilton. Also on there web site it stated that there was an hour for Adults only swimming in the morning and evening, which there wasn't, we booked this hotel, for some relaxation, which we never got. We wont be using this hotel again. You get more for in a Premier Inn for less money.

Could be better
Stayed for 1 night on New Years eve. They shut the bar at 23:00. Although they were still serving drinks to a private party. After complaining to the night receptionist/ manager , who was none to helpful. Eventually a young lady served me ( allowing customers to put drinks on our room numbers ). Then at 04:00 the entire hotel had to be emptied due to a fire alarm being set off. The next morning before we left , we used the pool. All was good , until having a shower afterwards ( all the shower gel receptacles were empty ). Breakfast was very good !!

Unfortunate enforced layover in Bristol
I was charged £43 for parking + pet! The alarm went off at 3:45 and the hotel was evacuated. It turned out to be a false alarm (or a cruel fire drill during bad weather). No apology the next morning or complimentary coffee....I expected as much. The UK, outside London generally disappoints

Needs renovating, great staff, poor breakfast
The hotel is in need of renovation, but is clean. Our room was ice cold (we were cold in there with our coats on) when we arrived, it took quite a while before we could heat up he room to a comfortable temperature as the start temperature was so low. The staff are all very helpful and professional. The breakfast is terrible. The croissants were stale, the processed cheese slices were sweaty and curled up in the corners, the scrambled eggs looked like they were cooked in a microwave. The quality of the food is poor and very processed.

Embarrassing
It was the most uncomfortable bed ever. We wanted a good nights sleep before continuing our journey, we could not sleep. I think it was an ancient bed, it felt like it was made of straw. When we complained, in the morning, we were asked what have you been up to? This was embarrassing and unnecessary.
