"It was a fabulous room overlooking the Castle ruins. The staff were wonderful , the food was excellent and I enjoyed my afternoon tea very much. Would have been happy to stay much longer. "

"Really lovely pub with rooms. Food was outstanding. Room really comfortable, bed cosy and bathroom well appointed. Rainforest shower head and very good water pressure. Lots of very hot water. Forgot to turn the radiator down meant we roasted overnight but that was our error. Staff were very lovely and accommodating. Pub itself very busy with a good atmosphere, but not noisy or rowdy as it’s a gastro pub. Would definitely recommend and return. "
