After quite a struggle to get my luggage up all the stairs, I found myself in a quiet little peace of heaven, the Nefeli guest house. This is the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday in Hydra. The staff are extremely kind and considerate, the rooms are clean, cosy and bright, and the view is breathtaking. Every morning, a simple but nice breakfast is served at the hotel terrace, overlooking the island and the sea. A great way to start the day. This little Greek sanctuary gets my warmest recommendation, and it is not the last time I visit Hydra and the Nefeli Guest House. A good advise to future visitors: Remember to tell the staff the time of your arrival, so they can come and pick you up at the boat. I will not recommend trying to carry your luggage up the stairs yourself. Enjoy your stay :o)”

We would like to highly recommend this small and friendly hotel in Hydra town on Hydra quite near the harbour and waterfront. We were met very welcoming, suitcases were carried upstairs and the owners were very helpful with information as well as arranging hotel accomodations for our further holiday on Spetses island. The hotel does not offer breakfast, but this can be bought only a few minutes walk on the harbourfront. The hotelrooms are nice and cleanand with a wonderful view from the balcon, but small.
