Langham Hall Apartments - Norfolk (amt)

We stayed previously in a 3 bedroom bottom apartment and really liked it. This time we had a 2 bedroom upper apartment. No dish clothes, dirty furniture and no personal contact/reception to talk to about issues. Would not rent here again. Also, car park area is under trees and cars are covered in pigeon droppings every morning.

The apartment was much better than expected and great value for money. The rooms were large and facilities very good,but the apartment was dirty and not up to an expected standard.I would like to return but it would have to be cleaner.

We went away for a girlie weekend and had a lovely time. The location was great. Initial viewing was - wow! Upon getting out of the car, a lady came out and told us to move and park near the entrance then briskly shut the door. Thinking I had to sign in, I knocked on the door of main entrance and had no reply. So we entered our apartment ourselves. […] It was very pleasing being as we hadn't paid very much for it. A lot better than what we had expected. However on closer investigation the rooms needed a thorough spring clean. There was only 2 knives, forks and large wine glasses and there was 3 of us, so we emailed the company and there reply was 'please confirm there are only 3 people staying, which I did. I Then had no response and no more cutlery. The next day the dishwasher leaked over the kitchen floor when we were out, so I again emailed and am still awaiting a reply. There was also no mop to clear up the water. Fridge was not very cold at all. All these minor things are easily resolved with good customer service. A friendly welcome and apologise for minor hiccups and I would have given them 5 stars. Would definitely go again with the girls, but would not pay full price. A bit too quiet for the kids though. We stayed in the Stable Court A for one night . In the advert they said there is a private kitchen which is wrong, there is just a microwaves with plates and glasses on a small table. You have to do the washing up in the bathroom what is not very convenient. The heater in the bathroom does not work, and the shower is very hot and not strong at all. […] Otherwise the surrounding is lovely. Læs mere

The apartment was really a small house. However finding it was more of a challenge. The address is misleading. It should be listed as in Langham not Holt. It also isn't on Langham Road, technically North Street. Not helpful when asking for directions. Thankfully the pub in Langham were used to this. The apartment was in a lovely area and could have been good but the heating was inadequate with the large storage heaters not working and the convector heaters made little difference.The amenities in the flat were good although some pots were chipped and cracked.

it was fine, but arrived at 5.15 (in pouring rain) took over an hour to get answer at the door of the hall, when there was ment to be 24 hour desk staff, so that ruined going out exploring in evening, as stressed and wet. Also dusty cobwebs in rooms. There wasn't a kitchen but had amenities. The plates ect. had to be washed in the bathroom. the shower […] just ran cold but there was a bath and heater didn't work so was really cold. other than that the furnishings are comfortable and would use again. It was a quiet time when we went so probably better when there is more guests. Læs mere

I was very pleased and impressed with stable court barn. The apartment is a very cosy and comfortable place to stay. Will definitely be booking stable court barn again. Thankyou.

Overall we were pleased with the accommodation and location. However we were very disappointed to find that 2 of the 3 storage heaters in the apartment were not working. It was apparent that management were aware as 2 small convector heaters were left in the rooms (unplugged so we arrived to a VERY cold apartment). These were far from adequate in view […] of the size of the rooms and the fact that the temperature over the 3 days of our stay seldom exceeded freezing point. This is a self catering apartment and when you book you receive an email warning you of the many things that could incur fines. It also says that complaints need to be emailed immediately. Of course there is no facility to do this and certainly my phone found no w-fi to use. The phone number provided went straight to answerphone. The ad also advises […] you to use google maps but does not mention North Street in Langham where the entrance is. When we visited only the wall heater in the small bedroom worked and the two freestanding heaters had to be moved around to ensure warmth. The main challenge was the icy bathroom. This offered a hazard in the form of a shower accessory to the taps that was taking only from the hot tap. As long as you did not scald yourself this provided enough hot water in the tub to heat the room! So the owners need to mend the tap and the heaters to make a perfectly adequate apartment really usable. Finally, while this is a self-catering place, it is surely not too much to expect the type of tea and coffee that budget hotels provide. So the Five Star from the previous reviewer was misapplied. Absolutely brilliant gem - we cannot believe the price for this 2 bedroom apartment, (1 double bedroom, 1 single bedroom, full bathroom, full kitchen, lounge / dining) only £33 a night in total including the heating! Unbelievable! I was very skeptical when I booked but finances dictated that we go for the lowest option, having to make the trip at short […] notice. I was fully expecting something far worse than a antiquated youth hostel...however the apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable beds, had absolutely everything you could need for self catering, (including lots of pots and pans, puzzles and magazines) and was built in the charming Norfolk cobbled-wall & brick style. Lovely! Will definately stay here again as was supreme value for money. Only a 5 minute drive from Wells, easy access to North Norfolk's beautiful coast, parkalnd and scenic yumminess. Perfect for families, couples, and normal folk who are not expecting the ritz. A real treat for those on a budget who for once get something really nice! Læs mere

We was not expecting a lot for the money, however we were very surprised as it was a very nice place to stay. The setting was excellent, the children described it as their princess palace as the entrance is very grand. Nicely located. Well worth a look.

It was ok for the money ,but there was no DVD player as advertised. The shower was awful, There was a hole in the bathroom floor and the heater and fan did not work either judging by the cobwebs haven't for some time. Just a general lack of attention to detail to ensure that at least what is there is clean and works.
