Airport Regent Hotel - Hallbergmoos

This hotel does not have air conditioning as indicated. This was one of the primary reasons I selected this hotel near the airport in June. I knew it would probably be hot and somewhat loud. Because we prepaid, we were stuck. Hotel staff said that air conditioning was available for Class 4 room (we had a Class 3) room, but that was not clear on the […] website and all the Class 4 rooms were booked. Anyhow, this wouldn't be a problem in the winter. For us, we kept the windows open all night (flights out of Munich airport start at 6 am), and the construction shop next door starts at 7 am (and they wrap things up around 7 pm), thus you may not need a wake up call. Other than that, the neighborhood was pretty quite. Only a few restaurants but a grocery within walking distance. The hotel was convenient to the airport. Hotel restaurant was understaffed and pretty slow. The rooms were good sized and had a small kitchenette but no dishes, utensils, pans, etc. No in-room coffee maker as indicated in ad. It isn't too easy to find unless you have a GPS or iPhone - but it mapped out ok using the iPhone. Room is quite shabby and drafty (old windows) - bathroom looks from Cairo or Lebanon not from Germany. I was surprised at how poorly the room looked. But, the breakfast was very nice - be sure to pay for it if you fly out early.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Regent. The hotel staff was basically friendly and helpful, but at times it appeared as though they were sucking on lemons as their disposition would become put-offish. However, they may have had a bad day. Our accommodation was OK. The room was warm, comfortable and very clean. However, we were in a building about three […] buildings down from the office building and there was no parking by our building. Therefore, we had to park by the office building and walk back to our room at night. It was dark and not well lit. They had a little vehicle to transport people to and from their rooms to the front office, but we did not use this service. Likewise, they also had a shuttle service from the hotel to the airport, but we did not use this service either. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. If you are planning to leave from the airport, or visit sights in close proximity, this is a great location and I recommend it. But, if you will be visiting Munich, you should probably find a location closer to your destination. Læs mere

There were a couple of glitches. There were no air condition on a hot day with high himidity. Also, the desk attendant gave us an alarm clock and set the time incorrectly, so we woke up 1 hour earlier.

we had 2 very nice rooms, very clean, people at reception and the ones showing us to the room very nice... and best: very close to the MUC airport. only drawback: no elevator in the building our rooms were in, which was a couple buildings away from reception; and no radio alarm clock (but they offered me an alarm clock instead of a wake-up call). the […] restaurant associated with the hotel (but also in another building) was also nice, friendly service, good food.... First, the phone number to call and arrange the shuttle service is wrong. It was 18 euro which erased the value of the hotel. Upon checking in, it took about 5 minutes to understand they will not provide a wake up call. They give you an alarm clock and disclaimer- it usually works... The restaurant was understaffed. There are no alternatives. You are […] in a remote location. Service took much too long. It took 20 minutes to get the check and I wasn't allowed to take my beer upstairs to finish because apparently too many people steal beer glasses. Wow, what a positive surprise A completely new 4 Star hotel, in operation for 2 months, with 'supernice and fun' staff and a clean modern look. המלוןיפה גדול מרווח ונקי.במלון יש מטבחון אך אין קומקום או כלי אכל בקיצור ללא כלים איזה מטבחון זה?מה צריך להבין מי שמזמין מלון עם מטבחון כאשר אין כלים והוא נענה על ידי אנשי המלון שלא נותנים כלים.אבל.......יש חדר אכל בתשלום....!!!משאיר לכם להחליט באם זה תקין או לא!!!

O hotel deveria manter alguém na portaria durante 24 horas para suporte aos hóspedes. Eu tinha pago o transfer do hotel para o aeroporto, para o dia 14/10/12, às 5:00h. Me atrasei 5 minutos e o carro já tinha partido. Não encontrei ninguém na portaria do hotel para me dar alguma orientação, prestar socorro e chamar um táxi para mim. O transfer só saiu […] pela 2a. vez às 5:35h, o motorista me deixou num local bem distante do portão de embarque e terminei perdendo o meu vôo para Frankfurt. Læs mere
