Kan ikke anbefale hotellet. Efter min mening for dyrt i forhold til standard. Ingen ordentlig reception, udvendige trappegange til værelser ( ala motel ) Ingen elevator. Stadig under renovering ( 4/1 ) med masser af støj. Nøglekort til værelser virker ikke, aircondition defekt i flere værelser ( ifølge de gæster der dukkede op i receptionen med vi ventede […] ) Der render en del skumle typer rundt på hotellet. Small, clean and close to South Beach. Price is right for a simple place.

Great location--can't be beat, especially given the quality of the other independent hotels in the area. You get a great deal with this place and the rooms have a modern, simple feel. I love the hardwood floors and the staff was kind.

The location is great. Just two blocks from the beach. The building is old and the walls or the floor show signs of its age but they were refurbishing it. Anyway, the room restrooms are new and clean, the beds are good and the towels and linen are new and clean. It has a nice patio at the entrance. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Great, great, great location! Only bad thing about the hotel was the parking situation. But I went during a busy time, so it may not be that chaotic all the time.

Nice location, convenient to Ocean Dr and the beach. No real amenities, just a plain comfortable room, but there are plenty of restaurants and stores in the area. WIFI did not work in the room.

This hotel has a great location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. The staff even allowed us to leave our luggage there prior to check-in time. The only down side was that there were people out in the courtyard talking all night long and there are no elevators. I would definitely recommend this hotel, we had a good experience there.

Recently renovated older building with clean rooms, minimal service and a great location. I generally just need a place to sleep when in South Beach for business and this works fine. Info on Hotels.com was very wrong. Claimed king bed. Hotel offers no king beds. Claimed separate sitting rm. Hotel offers none. Claimed refrigerator in room. Hotel offers none. I have read some reviews not liking this hotel but figured I would check it out. When you get there, there is a courtyard that you walk in to, it is lovely!! The staff is very friendly. If you are looking for a big commercial hotel with pools and hot tubs then go find them but this was perfect and quaint!! This property is a good option for those who are budget-minded but want to be close to the action of South Beach. It is a no-frills property that shows its' age but you can tell they are doing their best with what they have. Keep in mind it is a converted hostel. This property should not be confused with the art deco hotels on Ocean Drive. It is not […] in the same class. However, it is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location relative to Ocean Drive and Collins(shopping) is excellent. You are basically on the south end of the primary street destinations. Whether you would be happy with the Harrison depends on what you are used to regarding your style of traveling. As a side note, Carlos recommended the Big Pink restaurant for breakfast. For an older hotel our one night stay was great. The room was clean and the check in was smooth. The employees were very helpful and polite. The location was the best. Unless You want to pay $500 a night to stay in a four star hotel this hotel works out fine for the price.

The location was the best thing about this hotel. We had to BEG for the room to be cleaned daily and wait while they did so. Overall, you get what you pay for. Hotel has been recently renovated, room are clean and confortable. Location is fantastic, very close to ocean drive and art deco district. Good value for money if you book in Jan during the week

Room was clean and funiture was nice. Late night staff was odd and the atmoshere made me feel uncomfortable. My finacee, however, thought everything was absolutely fine (I think it was because he's a man). Neighborhood was okay, but there was two restraunts open for late night eats. Stayed at this hotel leading up to New Year's weekend and I must say that some of the previous reviews had me a bit concerned. HOWEVER, I was very pleasantly surprised with the hotel when I arrived. Apparently, this property used to be a hostel. Under new management,the property is now a hotel and the building has been revamped and the service level […] is excellent. Rooms are clean and comfortable with a good amount of space. The bathrooms are sleek in design. Parking is available only a 2 minute walk from your room. A special thanks to Mr. Mendez who was very professional and very polite. This is a gent who knows what the hospitality industry is all about. One Caveat: The parking lot is a bit hidden. Lage des Hotels genial. Mitten im Art-Decor-District, Restaurants in der Nähe, Strand nur 2 Blocks entfernt. Wifi funktioniert nur an der Zimmertüre und in der Aussenlonge. Bauarbeiten finden zur Zeit statt, Zimmer werden erweitert. (Frühstücksraum ist jetzt auch ein Zimmer, und der Keller wird anscheinend auch ausgebaut) Hatten Zimmer zuvorderst im […] Gang, mit Sicht in die Aussenlonge. Jedes mal wenn jemand verbei lief, dachte ich, er kommt ins Zimmer. Sehr ringhörig!!! Auch den Sex der Nachbarn und von oben will ich nicht immer hören....... Dusche wurde nur selten gereinigt oder halt so, dass ich es nicht gemerkt habe........ Bad sehr klein...; Dusche nur festeingebaute Brause, was sehr mühsam ist, sich den Sand zu entfernen.....
