Great Stay for an over night hotel.

Was very worried when approaching hotel because of the surrounding neighborhood but the hotel itself is great. Very clean, comfortable room with very nice furnishings. The front desk staff, a young man named Shou, was very kind and helpful. He made us feel comfortable about the neighborhood and overall was very professional.

There are rude and also they don't care about client cause first they never open or help ne with the door and the front desk guy saw me with my two heavy bag and when I ask him for help he was rude and answer me " here it is not help for that " and also I ask for wake up call at 6:30 am for take my airplane at time and they never did it and when I told […] them it wasn't call me they don't apologize and only care about there conversation between them and only answer me sorry when I told them if I lost my plane I will su you .I feel sorry for you hotel service because the rooms are comfortable and if you will have a nice service this hotel will have 5 stars Læs mere

Room was updated, very clean, and very comfortable. I didn't try the breakfast.

ROOMS ARE TOO SMALL..

I had to stay overnight to catch a flight at JFK early in the morning and this hotel was one of the most affordable choices less than 15 minutes away from the airport. I had to rely on the reviews to make my choice and I'm not disappointed at all, on the contrary, this is a small, but nice and clean hotel with a very friendly staff. PROS: convenient […] location, price point, hotel is fairly new, continental breakfast is good, cleanliness, staff. CONS: room is very small, if you have lots of luggage, that might be an issue. Me and my wife stayed in enough hotels and motels over the years and Sleep Inn Jamaica was outstanding. The receptionist (an asian guy) gave us a room on the 3rd floor, but the lights in that rooms didn't work, so he upgraded us to a king bedroom (which was nice). The neighborhood was OK. Will stay again in a Heartbeat...

The hotel was clean and new. It's conviently located near the subway and the bus stops. The customer service was excellent and informative. They gave subway maps and directions. The hotel room itself was much smaller than we were accustomed to but, it was a nice looking room. The service was good, gave me a lot of information. The room was outstanding, I will most likely stay their in the future. I was amazed how the whole place made you fell like home.

Booked and paid for through hotels.com and then realized when I got home that the hotel had charged my cc again. They did correct it only after I had to call overseas to get them to do it. It is a 'newish' hotel however it is already showing signs of a budget and heavy usage property. The hotel is new. I've seen it being built on my way to the train station. It's December, and I finally got to stay here. For the price and location, it's VERY nice. The staff was very helpful, and the room was extremely well furnished and comfy. Comfy Queen bed, and nice lcd tv had me sitting back and relaxing in no time. I wasn't travelling to or […] from the airport, so I can't comment much on that. I do know that it's a short ride to the subway, LIRR/airtrain or either airport. Bed and bathroom were very clean. Passed my gf's strict standards. It was a nice blend of modern hotel and cozy bedroom. warm colors, nice decor. quality wardrobe, fancy lamp with a usb connector. Basic but adequate.

On Saturday, October 29, 2011, The weather was very bad, snowing and raining at the same time. I live faraway and I found out the Sleep Inn Hotel in Jamaica. Wendy, the receptionist, was very kind. The Sleep Inn Hotel in New York near the JFK Airport was very clean and the service we recieved from the an employer named Wendy was very helpful. Loved the service i got when i call for reservation confirmation.

No complaints, new hotel, friendly staff, clean, nice breakfast, not the greatest surrounding neighborhood but its quiet... Overall best hotel in my book for the price and comfort... Quality and you can keep $$$ in your pocket... Very secure at night as well... Pros: Close to JFK Jamaica center station. 10mins bus ride from Jamaica station. Clean room. Friendly and helpful reception. Free shuttle service from Hotel. free breakfast. Cons: an hour long subway ride from Manhattan. Checked in early and was told to have a room reserved on upper floor. When return in the evening, was given a room in the basement. […] noisy though out the night from random pedestrian and car with loud music. Over all: cheaper than staying close to Manhattan. The hotel was a new structure and very clean. The management was very professional, polite and courteous. They went out of their way to assist their customers and assist in all ways. The stay was very quiet and restful, perfect for my needs to stay on a business trip.

Hotel clean and neat and nicely maintained. Very convenient for JFK airport. Neighborhood not great and VERY noisy (traffic and subway trains).

Nothing bad to say about hotel, rooms or staff. Will stay there again for sure!!

This hotel near JFK is just openned 9 days when we stayed there because flight cancelled. Do they have a long way to go...hair on pillows, no hot water at middle of night when we were tired from stress of rearranging flights, no food service whatsoever...don't stay here if you can help it.

The room was beautiful, felt like I was in my own bed.

My daughter called me from Kennedy Airport at 12:45 AM stating that her plane had just landed (8 hours late) and there was no flight out to Atlanta until the next day at 3 PM. Her friend's mother was calling hotels but the airport was packed with people and they were told that there was not a hotel to be found anywhere. I went to my PC and immediately […] went to Hotels.com. They found us this brand new hotel, the Sleep Inn, Jamaica about 4 miles from the airport. Since it was brand new there was probably no telephone listing. They had a few rooms available when I called. People were jealous when my daughter, her friend and her friend's mother told them as they got into a taxi that they were on their way to a hotel that her father found for them online at Hotels.com. There was a bit of confusion with the Hotels.com reservation when they arrived, probably because of the newness of the hotel and the staff, but the bottom line is they got a new, clean, comfortable room and were in much better shape for the final leg of their journey from Europe than they would have been had they slept on the airport floor. Das Hotel wurde im Juni 2011 eröffnet und ist dementsprechend neu. Die Gegend ist mehr als mies; keine Geschäfte od. Restaurants, herumlungernde Gangmitglieder an den Straßenecken, und die "nahegelegene U-Bahnstation" ein 20min. Fußmarsch durch ein Gangviertel.
