Alto Andino - Ushuaia

The staff could not be nicer or more helpful. The rooms are nicely appointed. The included breakfast is hearty enough to keep you going until lunch and the view from the restaurant is spectacular! You are given a welcoming cocktail and there's free wifi or a computer in the lobby. Hotel Alto Andino is located central to the downtown area in Ushuaia. The rooms in the front have a great view of the bay. The rooms in the back have a good view of the mountain. They have a better view of the mountain than those located on San Martin because there are less buildings in the way to obstruct the view. The 4th floor 360 degree view is […] the highlight of the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, although they accidently gave wrong hours for two museums. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast is average, but it's nice that it's included. Overall our stay was very enjoyable and I highly recommend this hotel to others. Læs mere

Hotel is simple but nice on hill 2 blocks above main street. Very safe. Nice suite, though living room area very simply furnished. TV in bedroom, not living area. Staff very helpful.

We stayed two nights and found the reception staff, especially Cecilia, very helpful, professional and friendly. When we found out that our flight was earlier than planned she went over and above to help us make our flight by confirming the flight time, printing off the boarding passes and calling us a cab. The view from the breakfast room/bistro is […] spectacular as it gives you a 360 degree view of the area - mountains, Beagle Channel and more. I stayed here for three nights and would strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in-town in Ushuaia. It is just two blocks up from San Martin Street, the main tourist drag, and just a few blocks from from the docs where tourist boats come and go. Other attractions like the Glaciar Martial and Tierra del Fuego national park can be reached by […] taxi or tour bus. The service could not have been friendlier. My room was comfortable, warm and modern. My room came with the free breakfast at the restaurant upstairs. The food was good and I was able to enjoy a spectacular view of the harbor and surrounding mountains while eating. There is a lounge on the other side of the restaurant with an outdoor area to enjoy the mountain view from the back of the hotel. The dinner menu at the restaurant is limited and the food isn't stellar (though the service is great) so I recommend going to one of the many places nearby instead. Wifi was free and available throughout the hotel. They also have computers downstairs that the guests can use. One warning: Ushuaia is essentially a mountain town. The walk from the docks and San Martin street to the hotel is just two blocks but is VERY steep in some places. If you have trouble making it up steep inclines, you might want to think about another hotel. That said, I highly recommend the Alto Andino. Læs mere

Hotel Novo, luxuoso, bem localizado e com um ótimo serviço. Fica a quatro quadras do pier onde saem os passeios de barco. Fica a duas quadras da San Martin a principal rua de comércio de Ushuaia. Adorei ficar hospedada la. A localização eh ótima e o serviço maravilhoso, ate check in da minha passagem eles fizeram. O cafe da manha gostoso e vista espetacular. O hotel eh novinho e ate o hidratante do hotel eh ótimo. Quarto para três excelente, parace ate um apartamento. Recomendo muito.

Instalações excelentes. Tudo novo e reformado. Localização muito boa. Fica perto da rua principal, porém sua localização preserva os hóspedes do barulho. O quarto em que ficamos tem vista para o canal de Beagle. Vista belíssima. Café da manhã bom e farto.
