Der er stor forskel på de helt billige værelser og dem man giver et par 100 mere for pr dag. så brug de ekstra få penge på at for et dubbelt så godt værelse. Morgenmaden er ikke god på hotellet. Men ellers et fint hotel.

Vi havde bestilt et deluxe room hjemmefra, og havde glædet os til et lækkert værelse som på billederne, men da vi kom, var det SLET ikke som vi havde forestillet os. Beskidt klamt tæppe, og aircon der ikke virkede + en stor radiator der heller ikke virkede. Efter 2 dage med dette værelse ringede de fra lobbyen og sagde at der var sket en fejl, og vi […] skulle flytte værelse. Først blev vi tilbudt et værelse der var dårligere end det første, og det afslog vi blankt! Derefter blev vi vist et værelse der mere stemte overens med det på billederne på hjemmesiden, og vi takkede ja. Efter det, blev det dejligt at være på hotellet - sødt personale, godt værelse, og god beliggenhed. Bare ærgeligt det startede så dårligt! Læs mere

Der var noget lydt på værelserne. Morgenmaden kunne godt være bedre, men den er meget billig. Tv ikke optimalt, der var støj på kanalerne.

Tæt på de ting man gerne vil se. Og beliggende i et trygt og levende område. Hårde senge(std. i kina), dårlig rengøring, men til prisen et udemærket sted at sove, hvis man vil have et sted at bo skal man nok kigge andetsteds. I receptionen er de gode til at hjælpe.

That's about it. they don't clean the rooms!! and the conditions are not the best. the room is with old furniture in that price you can get much much more

I really wanted to like this hotel. It is a lovely traditional Chinese hotel tucked away in a well located hutong (which means a taxi driver would never be able to find it). Our room was Chinese style and gorgeous and the hotel staff was helpful and spoke good English but we had some problems. Firstly, the hotel is on municipal heat so that get turned […] off March 15. We stayed there April 1 and 2. It was freezing out, but there was no heat to be had. They got us extra blankets but waking up in the morning was a chilly affair. The hot water tank is not central, but in each room, so there was only enough hot water for 1 quick shower which was not idea for our family of 4. During our stay, the WiFi and the door lock broke. They never fixed the WiFi and their answer to our broken door lock was to call housekeeping every time we had to go into the room. I'm sure during other people's stay the locks and the WiFi are not an issue, and if you stay in May or June, the heat would not be an issue either, but for us they made a less than ideal stay. From Airport to hotel is about 45 mins by taxi make sure to go for a metered taxi cost unknown because i took a bus ride due to long queue for taxi. Bus fare cost 16 rmb to town (Station Dongzhi) and took a taxi for 11rmb. At the junction of main road (JiaoDaoKo Nan) walk into an alley for 3 mins, along the alley there are signboard to guide through […] upon reaching you will see a stretch of Red Lantern to gude you there. Hotel main is very nice, reception staff can speak English and helpful, polite. Room service is efficent. Rooms are clean and nice especially for the Traditional room. Rooms are equipped with warm/cold airconditionand Wifi signal is strong at the reception and reasonably OK in the room. Rooms are cean up everyday and towels are changed. Nice restful and rustic location near downtown. Room was pleasant, clean and big enough . It is recommended to enjoy a breakfast somewhere else than at the hotel...

This hotel is inside of Hutong ( old street) "like a soho" because has a lot chinese design, is beautifull. If you want feel in China you should stay in this hotel. The best is cheap, clean and comfortable!

Location is not bad but they don't clean the room at all!!! And the pictures on the website are all from the lobby not from the room, inside of the rooms are very simple nothing special!!! The toilet is small, hot water can not be used for long, only has hot water for shower not available from the washstand!!!

I was lucky that the airport taxi driver knew about this place, as several Beijing taxi drivers I spoke with later on did not! The place is extremely tucked-away, but this is also a good thing. The hutongs are amazing -- a real wonderland for any traveller, and so full of great little curiosities. There's a big kitty standing guard out in front, monitoring […] visitors as they enter. Hotel staff was friendly to me, although I did witness one woman being pretty unpleasant with a guy trying to check out. English proficiency levels among them vary, and so it helps greatly if you speak some Mandarin. The room is small but decent, and the decor is very nice. I find myself, here in the winter, curling up close to the radiator. Americans may find the bed to be rather hard -- I guess I myself don't mind the stiffness, although with jet lag, you may find yourself spending a lot of time in it. Shower is great and hot, although here's two issues with the bathroom: (1) the seal on the bathroom window thing is bad, and so if I hit it with water, a substantial amount leaks into the bedroom and onto the floor (!!); (2) part of the ceiling paneling is hanging down, exposing the pipes below the next floor up. People might complain about the smell of smoke, but China is a nation of heavy smokers, and so it's kind of to be expected that the common areas will smell slightly of it. I found the hall to smell strongly of something chemical, as though there was new carpet. I get lost a lot trying to finangle my way back from Jiaodaokou street, but I don't mind being lost in the Hutong. Overall, I wouldn't bring a family here, but if you're a single young traveler like myself who wants a cheap room in an awesome neigborhood, then this should do the job! Læs mere

The first 3 days the room was clean, they came to "clean it up" everyday but they didn't clean the floor. The bed was hard. Breakfast was good but the same everyday. All working at the reception spoke English very well which helped a lot. One of the staff was pretty rude to me at one point. TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTING hotel. Evidence1: Non working power point and could not charge our handphones, cameras or make a hot drink or blow dry wet hair. The in-house electrician and room attendant ran back and forth from 11pm till 1am to rectify the problem. My family of 4 could not sleep, rest or watch tv but had to put up with the dismantelling, drilling, […] testing, plugging , unplugging in different parts of the hotel suite, totally unsettling and a complete waste of time. Evidence 2: the suite was advertised as a room for 4 but 1 0f us had to make do with a sofa and could not rest amid all the commotion Evidence 3. Location: it's advertised as centrally located but the hotel is obscurely hidden in a very narrow 1-way alley (hu-tong) which means most taxis wouldn't want to go in or could not find their way [ ours took nearly an hour to locate the hotel despite using a GPS and repeated checking with the hotel frontdesk]. It didn't help even if you can speak mandarin or if you have a map of the hotel and the only visible sign was a string of red lanterns outside its neighbouring Hanting Express Hotel. The only saving grace? A short-haired lady at the front desk for the night shift was quite helpful. The room was very nice...even had a unique designer-like feature, a window between the shower and the rest of the suite, so as to allow some natural light into the bathroom. I was congratulated by both my taxi driver and local contacts for my choice of hotel - it's a little taste of traditional chinese decor, in a fantastic, quiet location right between the very cute Nanluogu Xiang Hutong (trendy little shops, bars and food) and two main roads (Gulou to the north, and Jiaodaokou to the east) with lots of cheap and delicious […] restaurants. Short walk to the Drum and Bell towers, and close enough to go for strolls around Houhai, or even down to Forbidden City or Wangfujing Dajie for some shopping and scorpions. I stayed in a "deluxe" room, which was nothing special, but perfectly comfortable for a few nights. Taxis may refuse to come down the alley, but will drop you at the Jiaodaokou intersection, and it was easy enough to grab a cab there when I didn't feel like walking. Læs mere

This hotel was an older quante hotel a good value for the cost. The standard room as small with simple furnishes. It was clean & comfortable. It had the convenince of a small kitchen the faucet was loose & water only trickled out. The shower drain was clogged drained poor. Stairway was dark. Overall a good value ..

We have stayed in hotels all over the world. So, when I planned for the next family holiday in China, I decided to choose the traditional "hutong" as part of the experience. This hotel is not a modern western style hotel. It is located in central Beijing, right in Zone 1. The Traditional View is a beautiful place tucked back in the hutongs (alleys) of Beijing. It's a little difficult to get to, but there are signs out on the main streets pointing to the hotel. The manager was very patient with us as we straightened out our room situation. She graciously showed us the rooms before we checked in, and even added a bed to […] one of the rooms for us. This hotel is difficult to find but once you see it, you'd fall in love with it. The ambiance is so authentically Chinese. The food and service are great. The English speaking staff made everything easy for us who don't know a Chinese word. I think my friends and I got our money's worth. I'd definitely recommend this place to my friends.

Imagine this! You've been traveling for hours, and when you get to your hotel, you have to wait for hours for them to get you a room. We are traveling in a group and arriving at different times. The first group had to wait for 6 hours before they get their room, and I had to wait for 2 hours standing in front of the reception desk to get to mine. The […] said they upgraded us to a suite for the inconvenience caused but then they have the nerve to move us, WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE, the very next day. By moving us, I meant, they packed our stuff from one room and moving it into another, and wait for it... in a black garbage bag. At first glance, the hotel was pretty nice on the outside. There was an outdoor cafe and free wifi and computers in the lobby. Some of the staff at the reception were courteous enough while others were just plain short with you. However, even asking for a room on a higher floor, I got a room on the first floor and it was next to the restaurant so I […] was always woken up by the noise early in the morning when people had breakfast. And even when breakfast was free, it tasted so blah that I decided to skip it the next days. My bathroom was small and there was a hole in the wall next to the toilet where you can see pipes running through so everytime somebody flushed from upstairs, you can hear the water draining through. Also, there was no toilet paper holder (I think they forgot to build one?) so no toilet paper as well. We saw a few roaches at night in our bedroom near the doorway so that was gross. On our last day there, after we came back from sightseeing and it was obvious that whoever cleaned our room smoked there b/c that's all it smelled of (and our room was nonsmoking). Really unprofessional there. Wifi in the room only worked 1 out of the 3 days we were there while the lan cable didn't work at all. I couldn't pick up the wifi network with my iphone either. I wouldn't recommend this hotel but that was b/c of our room. Perhaps if we had a different room it would have been a better experience. Læs mere

The basic room services such as tidying the room home, emptying the trash and replacing used towel are attended daily. Cleaniness of the room is presentable. However, perhaps it is due to the heavy pollution of Beijing, the room seems to be dusty and stuffy when I walk around. But overall it is a presentable hotel. There is a rectangular window frame […] although appears to be misty but it is still prominent to be seen through when someone is showering in the shower room. The hotel should consider for the sake of family stay, a curtain should be installed from inside of the shower room. In terms of noise, I can hear neighbours plugging in the plug from next door, shifting of chair, screaming of couple making out at times subtley. But I'm not that fussy about noise. I would prefer a wide range of choice for the breakfast. Though I'm an Asian who speaks Chinese, but I'm still not used to Beijing's food, especially the breakfast. The hotel might want to promote the cusine of Chinese food but it should also appeal to wider group of people. Beware of the tour group from this hotel. I purchased a package to Great Wall, Ming's Tomb and Bird Nest, but I was brought to jade shop, pearl shop, tea ceremony and foot massage, which is not stated in the tour package at all. I rather spend more time at Great Wall. And yet, the tour guide still demands tips from me. The location is fairly convenient. I would prefer the hotel indicate a clear instruction to tourists on bus getting to nearest subway station. I have to figure everything myself through a guide book. Though the distance is only about ten to fifteen minutes walk to the nearest subway, imagine after a day of walking in forbidden city, it is strenuous to walk back to the hotel without knowing which bus to take. The bed is really hard, like most of the hotel in beijing. The pillow is very soft. I need to sleep on two pillows to get the right cushion for me. The must-see sights were conveniently accessible by taxi, bus or subway from the hotel's location. They cleaned the room and provided fresh towels every day. I appreciated the complimentary bottled water for all of our 7-day stay. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I will surely recommend it to friends.

The hotel was in a typical hutong of Beijing. A little difficult to get to but once there it was very nice. The beds were comfortable but like you find in China, it was a hard mattress. there was a 200 yuan deposit that was returned at check out. Breakfast was included (or priced at 20 yuan, less than 4 dollars) and was tasty-Chinese style. The hutong had many little shops and places to eat throughout.The neighborhood was very traditional and the hotel was decorated in a tradional manner. The place is clean and homey, bathroom is clean which I'm very particular in a hotel. The aircon/heater is a great help especially during our stay (2nd of March), its very cold. 位置不錯，客房打掃好像只是倒個垃圾及補毛巾而己，連續2天廁紙都沒補，房內電話完全不通，還得到櫃台去反應，很多小地方不足，人手好像不夠，可是服務人員態度都不錯，而且位置極佳，轉個彎就是南鑼鼓巷，購物逛街的好地方，整體來說是滿推薦的住宿環境

Hotellet ligger sentralt, det var rimelig. Koselig kiosk like i nærheten. Samt internett cafe som vi måtte bruke endel da internetten på hotellet var nede under hele vårt opphold. Ok størrelse på rommet og tven virket. Muligheter for sykkelutleie. At i alt fin plass å bo. Anbefales. Hutongområdet er utrolig fint, må oppleves.

Enkel standard på hotellet, men i forhold til pris er det mye for pengene. Det ligger rett ved Drum Tower og har bra beliggenhet. Veldig frokost inngår i prisen.

隔音太差，床太差，稍微动动就噶只噶只响，还是高级大床房呢～

四合院ではなく普通のホテルですが、インテリアが伝統的な雰囲気で統一されていてとてもよかったです。 wi-fiは部屋では弱すぎてほとんどつながりませんでしたが、ロビー付近ならつながります。 フロントスタッフも特に女性の方はとても親切でよかったです。 地下鉄の駅からは少し遠いですが、バスはいくつかのバス停が利用できるので便利です。

酒店環境頗舒適，交通也算便利。並且鄰近很多食肆及旅行景點，只要多行幾步便可。

１０月に宿泊しました。 朝晩の冷え込みがきついので、季節によってはパジャマに注意が必要です。オイルヒーターが設置されていたので、真冬はあれが活躍するのだと思います。インターネットは、有線、ワイファイともに利用できます。 部屋だけでなく、ホテル全体が中国の伝統を満喫できるつくりだと思います。 駅から少し（１０分かからないくらい）の場所ですが、スーパーや飲食店など、生活観のある町も満喫できたので、個人的にはとても良かったです。

Hotellet är väldigt mysigt, personalen är otroligt trevliga och wifi som fungerar överallt är ett stort plus. Tyvärr ligger hotellet 20 min gång från tunnelbanan, men nära en gata för turister mitt bland hutongerna. Frukost buffén var okej, lite för asiatisk för min smak, men de hade bröd och marmelad i alla fall. Sängen var lite hård, vilket är vanligt […] i asien.
