Very good stay. Large room but a wash clothe on the floor in the bathroom and a cap left by previous occupant in room when we arrived. Good breakfast and comfortable , quiet stay. Bathroom door and shower room door kind of strange. They slid closed but didn't close completely.

The hotel looks new, was clean, comfortable, and average priced. The breakfast was slightly better than typical. I will stay there again.

For only being a 3 star hotel this hotel feels like a 5 star. All my stays at Springhill Suites have been very pleasant. They are very neat, clean & cozy. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable!

Privacy in the shower was a HUGE issue. The door opening to the shower room was larger than the door and did not fit flush against the opening. This left a 5" gap from side to side and then a 2" gap where the door didn't sit flush against the wall. There was no possible way to have complete privacy. We ended up hanging up one of the bed throws over […] the mirror on the wardrobe because the mirror reflected the whole shower and could be seen from anywhere in the room. After my mother in law got in and closed the door we had to hold up the other bed throw over the 2" gap while she showered. No bench or chair in the shower area either. Breakfast selections were great. The only complaint I have is that the breakfast room only had one waffle maker which caused a very, very long line. There should be at least 2 or 3. Læs mere

Our organization housed two speakers from out of town at Spring Hill Suites for three days. They had nothing but great things to say about the hotel. It is new, clean, and nicely decorated, and they especially liked the separate desk/office area to help them organize their materials.

Great place to stay - property to be developed next to hotel. only negetive is not to get the room near the luandry cause of noise. very close to hospital if that is a factor in decision.

I was a little underwhelmed with this hotel. Upon arriving at the hotel I was informed that they did not have a "Bellhop" to assist with luggage. She proceeded to find someone to assist but seemed a little agitated that I even ask for one. The hotel looks like an office complex that has been converted to a hotel. The view from the rooms was not that […] pretty either as the hotel is built next to a major road in Huntsville. Three sides where of a major road with the fourth side showing the back of the Civic Center. TINY little bar. Next time I go, I will stay at a better hotel. Læs mere

We are locals in HSV, and we stayed here the night of a Christmas ball so that we did not have to be concerned with drinking and driving. The hotel just opened earlier this year, so everything is very new and in excellent condition. I'm not a big fan of the decor - very trendy (like an Aloft). It was built where an old strip mall was torn down, and […] unfortunately it is the only thing there. This makes it look like it is standing in the middle of a field. I think there are plans to add other businesses, but they are not there yet. It's about a 5 minute walk on good sidewalks to the civic center, but the lighting could be better. The hotel does not take their shuttle to the civic center, but I'm pretty sure there is a downtown trolley that runs (weekends only) to the civic center and downtown restaurants and clubs. Rate was good, better than the Embassy Suites next door, and the hotel was much nicer than the old Holiday Inn that is also in the same area for the same price. Læs mere

While attending a conference in the Von Braun Center (VBC) in Huntsville, AL, on jUNE 13-16, 2011, I had the privilege of staying in a brand new Springhill Suites located very near VBC. From what I could gather, they had just opened this hotel on June 7th, 2011. To my pleasure, I thought the hotel ran as if it had been in business for many months. All […] aspects of the stay were first rate starting with the registration process and staff. The rooms were very clean and modern and the support staff seemed to know their duties and were always courteous. Based on the quality of the hotel and the location, I thought the room price was about right. The only negative feedback that I have is that I thought the prices of the snacks and drinks were too high. In some cases, it seemed that they were double the normal price. I also recommend that the hotel carry some sports drinks, such as Gatorade. I ran every afternoon and a sports drink would have been nice to have after running in the Alabama heat. Læs mere
