Fedt indrettet, søde folk i receptionen, trendy møbleret og super badeforhold og god dobbeltseng ;-) Ville bestmet anbefale det og selv tage dertil igen. Nemt med sporvogn til centrum og tog retur til lufthavnen.

Looks great in pictures but the rooms are very small - more like a cruise ship than a hotel. The restroom "pod" is not at all private. The cool looking shower leaks and doesnt get hot. The front "desk" staff were very nice and one gentleman was very helpful. Modern and cool looking but not built for function.

This hotel is located very close to Amsterdam's south station (Zuid) which makes it an easy transfer from the airport, literally the first stop and about 6 minutes of travel time. It is also right on on of the main tram lines which makes going into town a breeze. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, everything is spotless and clean and the […] trendy feel of the hotel adds to the experience. This is the perfect location for two people traveling together, there are no family rooms everything is a handy pod size so make sure you know your companion very well. The hotel room is appropriately sized for only ONE citizen! Seriously, I have never seen a hotel room this small. The shower is inside a "glass tube" in the middle of the room and the toilet is enclosed in another glass tube opposite. The sink is by itself. There is no closet, just 3 hangers on a bar. We were greeted by rude staff who left u check in urself and make fun of u when u fail to do so. We were not informed when we arrive that breakfast not order the day before will be more expensive, and there was no hot water making facilities in the room. It is very far away from the city centre. The room is so small (150 sq, ft) that 2 people can not move around in it at the same time. This hotel, whose rooms are all identical may work for single travelers but definitely not couples! The hotel is nice and trendy, easy to get to from the airport. Its a little out from the city over 30 min walk to dam square so advise you get a tram card as tram is just around the corner. Stayed at citizenM Hotel for a weekend. This hotel is really awesome. It is funky, cool, clean and the bed is really comfy. It could be nice to be closer to the center, but it is really easy to take the tram.

It is a bit odd to have a toilet in the middle of the room, and even though me and my girlfriend are extremely comfortable with each other, it is a bit strange doing number 2. Booked the room last minute while attending a conference at Amsterdam RAI. 10 minutes walk thourhg the park and you find this to the point hotel located near Amsterdam Zuid and WTC. This place seems a bit pricey for what it is. The rooms are small, but the beds are huge. Don't be put off by the location: Amsterdam Zuid. We loved this hotel - its cutting edge technology (re check in/out), lighting and TV controls. The 'moderness' of it worked. The rooms are small however public areas make up for it - with large lounges to read, great internet area, pleasant restaurant area too. There are a few things I think travellers should be a ware of when chosing this hotel: there […] are onlydouble beds (huge) in this hotel, the toilets and shower areas are quite transparent (frosted glass panels around the loos and shower) so if you dont know your travelling companion well it can be uncomfortable (although there are more private toilet facilities on the ground floor), and that there arent any tea and coffee facilities in the room. If the above is important to you I wouldnt choose this. However we loved the experience: incredible staff who seemed to live the brand, the attention to detail around the branding - eg maps of amsterdam with hotel logo, option of shower gell for the am and pm, christmas treats for the guest when they arrived. The location to Schipol airport is brilliant - only one stop. The connection to Amsterdam central is also great as there is a metro and a main line train as well as busses. The CitizenM is a really funky hotel. Lots of designer furniture, very cool rooms & super friendly staff. I think it is incredible value too. The location is a tram ride (number 5) from Central station. It takes about 20 minutes. But from the hotel it only takes 5 - 10 minutes to hit the museums and shopping district. I'd highly recommend staying […] here, but need to flag that the toilet is part of the main bedroom area. You close glass doors for privacy, but it still isn't that private. A new 'pod' type hotel that will not be to everyone's tastes but we loved it. Convenient for Schipol Airport - approx 8 mins by train with a 5 min walk to the hotel, and 15 mins from Amsterdam centre by tram which is 100m away. The hotel is excellent for the business traveler (very close to Amsterdam's WTC and exhibition areas, great free wifi throughout […] and free use of Mac's in the lobby. For tourists/travelers the use of space in the rooms with a pod toilet/shower unit surround by glass- see hotel website- may not suit everyone but as an early 50 something couple we thought it was a great use of space. The lighting/TV system, using a remote control is nice to play with and makes a change from the bland corporate hotel rooms often seen. And the free on demand TV movies/web based world wide radio etc is great. The bar/food were good value, especially in what is an expensive city, and the hotel were very helpful without being obtrusive. All in all, a very good stay. Læs mere

It's a step into the futuristic set of the Jetsons cartoon. As mentioned in a previous review, everything is a little different. Check in is a breeze using automated kiosks that even issue your key card. Large screen TVs in the lobby lounge area, plenty of Apple computers for email and work, 24 hour restaurant/bar and a extremely helpful, pleasant staff. The […] rooms are relatively small but clean. The bed is super comfortable. Everything is operated by a remote control (window shades, mood lighting, temperature, TV and music). Free movies and WiFi. Now, the caviat. Traveling alone is fine. Traveling with a companion may be a little touchy. Everything is in the room with you. The toilet is right there in the middle of your room. It has a round lightly frosted glass enclosure that surrounds you while you are doing your thing. The shower is also in the middle of the room. It has a clear glass enclosure. The sink is just there, no enclosure. So, if you are shy, forget about it. If you love watching your companion showering or going to the toilet, it's great. My wife and I both agreed that this was one of the coolest hotels we've ever stayed at. The staff is very helpful from the moment you walk in the door. The decor is very modern and the environment is very clean. The rooms are very modern with huge beds and rainfall showers. You can create the "mood" in the room by using the remote control to choose […] any color of lighting and music. The room may seem small at first, but CitizenM has done a good job of maximizing the space by creating storage space under the bed and in the other areas of the room...just be creative. We had heard about this hotel and the fact that it is all about efficiency (small rooms, with shower in the middle of the room, toilet "stall etc.) Decided to book it anyway, for the experience. Actually really liked it. The hotel itself was hip and had a great cafe and bar. The graphics and marketing of the hotel was clever and amazing. The bed was […] comfortable and the TV had a great movie channel. The shower though really just a big tube., had a shower head at the TOP of the tube, so was actually quite nice. The only negatives I would say is the lack of counter space for the sink, and the toilet is really just in another frosted class "tube" My husband is 6'5" and just fit with the doors closed. While there was a curtain between the "bathroom area" and the bed, it still doesn't give a person a whole lot of privacy if you know what I mean. We are married and pretty comfortable with each other. I would not want to go there with a date or someone you are not really comfortable with. The neighborhood was really quiet and nice. There is a trolley stop just across the street so convenient for getting downtown (and I imagine downtown would be a noisy and chaotic place to stay) Læs mere

Desde o checkin ao checkout tudo eh muito fácil, cortesia, simpatia e eficiência de toda a equipe do hotel em atender suas necessidades eh ffator a se realçar. Очень современный отель, со всеми удобствами. Как и везде в Амстердаме маленькие номера. Но при это огромная кровать. До центра города (квартала «Красных фонарей») минут 40 пешком. До музейного квартала минут 25. На трамвае №5 (остановка напротив отеля) до центра минут 15 до музейного квартала 5.

Très bel hôtel, ultra design, avec une qualité d'accueil excellente. Il est très pratique également car situé à 1 arrêt de l'Intercity train de l'aéroport et à quelques arrêts de tram du centre-ville. Die Lage des Hotels ist gut. Es liegt zwar etwas ausserhalb, des Stadtzentrums, ist aber schnell zu erreichen. Mit der Tramlinie 5 zum Stadtzentrum, Haltestelle Dam, sind es ca. 10-15 min Fahrt. Als wir im Hotel ankamen, begrüsste uns das Personal sehr freundlich, und half uns einzuchecken. Das einchecken erfolgt elektronisch, und man kann dies selbst […] machen. Bei Unklarheiten kann man jeder Zeit das Personal fragen. Das Hotel ist grundsätzlich ganz einfach. Nur das Nötigste ist vorhanden: "Kiosk" mit Snacks, Getränken (Tee, Kaffee), Essen (Sushi, Sandwiches, Spaghetti) etc. Es gibt eine Art "Lounge". Da kann man TV schauen (viele Sender stehen zur Verfügung). Ebenfalls hat man einige MAC's, an welche man sich hinsetzen und im Internet surfen kann, Arbeiten erledigen, Zeitvertreiben etc. Im ganzen Hotel gibt es Gratis-WiFi. Das Zimmer hat genau eine Toilette, Waschbecken, Dusche, ein Bett, Tv & Telefon. Das Bett ist super bequem und gross. Telefon läuft über Skype, dementsprechend auch günstig. Das Hotel stellt sehr viele Sender zur Verfügung, sowie auch Filme - kostenlos! Man kann das Licht im Zimmer, auch die Lichter in der "Toiletten-Röhre" und "Dusch-Röhre" mit der Fernbedienung verstellen.. je nach Laune. Das Hotel ist mit dem Nötigsten ausgestattet, und eigenet sich für eine Städtereise mit dem Partner. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen. Læs mere
