5 stjerner er helt misvisende, ingen restaurant, ingen P plads, og et meget lille værelse, med seng 1 spisestuestol og et lille skrivebord, som vores engelske bekendte sagde: You can´t swing a cat in here. Kald det noget andet end hotel, og fjern et par stjerner så ok.

Var der med min søn på 8 i 3 dage - super hotel og super personale! Jeg kan intet andet end anbefale dette hotel til andre, der skal til Liverpool.

Nyt og spændende hotel, som ligger i et byområde, som er ved at blive renoveret. Mange pubber/barer og restauranter i området. Ligger tæt på det store indkøbscenter Liverpool One. Værelset er velholdt og rengøringen var i top. Servicen fra alt personale var i top. Morgenmad kan ikke fås på hotellet, men der er fler gode restauranter i nærheden, hvor […] man kan får morgenmad. Very impressed with Base2Stay, they rightly deserve the high praise that they receive. Informative and helpful (to the point that one receptionist lent me her own umbrella when I realised I'd forgotten mine) staff. The foyer/social area is very pleasant and nespresso coffee on tap is a lovely touch - after dinner my colleagues and I had coffee back […] here rather than at the restaurant! Enjoyed having my own kitchenette - there is a supermarket less than two minutes away so very easy to stock up. Room was large and quiet, wifi worked well. Good hotel literally on the doorstep of both a Tesco and the city centre with all its shops and restaurants.

Very enjoyable, people on reception where all very pleasant and helpful. The only criticism is the Breakfast that was brought to the room, first of all it would have helped if there was a small table to put your breakfast on, personally I would have enjoyed my breakfast more had I gone out. Enjoyed my stay and will come back next time I visit Liverpool.

This hotel offers 4 star quality at 1 star prices. Staff is friendly and professional and hotel is spotless. Highly recommended!

very small rooms, small beds, the facility of 4 stars hotels are not available, like the slippers, shower cap, and the other kits. The hotel area is Baaaaaaaaaaar area was not pleasant for us.

Very handily placed just up from Liverpool 1, with loads of cafés, restaurants and bars - even a great little theatre - right on the doorstep, but still very quiet. Decor is excellent - very stylish, and maintained throughout the hotel and the rooms. Staff were invariably polite, friendly and very helpful. I was expecting a lot from all the great reviews online and the hotel didn't fail to deliver. Amazing location right in the heart of everything, really comfortable rooms, friendly staff and great decor. All for a very reasonable price. Would not hesitate to recommend this place!

Fantastic location for shops, pubs, clubs, restaurants, sight seeing - pretty much everything... spotlessly clean with small fridge and microwave plus sink so can eat in if wanted too... As I'd come to Liverpool for a night out, this hotel was perfectly situated. It's right in the middle of one of the busy bar/club areas in Liverpool city centre. I had booked a twin room, and the only disappointment was that they could only give me and my friend one room key between us. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the hotel is stylish. […] I didn't require much from the hotel staff, nor did I eat or drink there, so I can't comment on service. Considering the position of the hotel, and the Saturday night mayhem that was going on just a block away, the hotel was a quiet oasis, and I slept all night. Had an excellent stay at Base2Stay in Liverpool. The hotel was absolutley pristine and the room was lovely with plenty of room. The location is brilliant. Literally 5 minutes walk from the main shopping centre and even less of a walk to an amazing bar and restaurant called Alma de Cuba. We loved the location of Base To Stay. A short walk to all of the spots in city center without the noise. The ambiance is cool and low key. The kind of hip, but affordable accommodation that i have not seen outside of New York -- Actually, the fact that you get a proper hotel service to go with the independence of a loft-style apartment at an extremely reasonable price, may give it the edge on New York! It's situated on Seel st which is a young, stylish, arty area inbetween the docks & town centre -- plenty of cool bars & great restaurants. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Do not pay more than double the price to stay at the MalMaison like my friends -- they were extremely jealous of my cheap, hipster pad! location exellent were in easy reach of all the tourist attactions resurants shops harbour within 10 mins walk . staff couldnt do enough to help . Loved the small kitchen in the room coffee machine in lounge nice touch would recommend this hotel

We stayed at Base2stay for 3 nights and could not have been more satisfied. The room was superb, spotlessly clean, had a large tv, lovely bathroom with bath and shower and the kitchenette was an added bonus. The reception staff could not have been more friendly, nothing was too much trouble, fabulous break!!

Great Hotel, real bonus having little kitchen ! Very modern, although would be squeeze for 3 people in the room we had with single bed contained within seat.

Excellent location, Very friendly staff, Very clean hotel. Would stay here again if returning to Liverpool.

Spent 1 night here with three friends. Room was great, much better than expected. It even had little extras such as electric curtains! Kept us amused for a while anyway. Quality of the rooms was excellent and the tv's had an inbuilt cd collection which we found useful as we were getting ready for a night out.Hotel is situated on a street directly behind […] a large proportion of the bars and some of the bars are even on the road with the bars however there was no issue of any kind of noise. My first night in a single room was excellent, but this night was not as comfortable. The air con did not work properly, so it was either too hot or too cold, and windows do not open in this hotel (not good). It was a twin room, which was not as nicely planned as the single room (which is a small double really). The shower was over the bath, so very […] cramped, although the sheets were clean, they were stained and the carpet had some sort of ink stain on it. First night I stayed in one of the single occupancy rooms on the 5th floor. This was a very warm and comfortable, small, but cosy. My only moan is that the windows do not open. When I asked about this they said it had to do with health and safety, building regulations (not sure I believe this though?). In this room the air-con worked fine - if a little […] dry. I changed to a double room for the next night. Room not as nice and the air-con did not work properly, so it was either too hot or too cold. Perfect location for an exploration of Liverpool. The staff were amazing and it was so quiet inside the building. Very close to lots of trendy bars and lovely restaurants aswell as plenty of shopping. Supermarket very close by to take advantage of useful room amenities. Would definitely stay here again if we ever pay another visit.

Spent the weekend here and we were very impressed with everything. Booked some last minute flights and have to say a big thanks to Caroline on the desk who was extremely helpful and even printed out my boarding passes! Pleased with the hotel. Modern, clean and friendly staff. Room size about standard for a city hotel. Mini kitchen behind a cupboard door – sink, microwave, fridge, crockery and cutlery, as well as tea and coffee making. Plenty of storage, free wi-fi, free internet through the TV and a keyboard, confortable bed and lighting you can actually read by.It […] looks out on a couple of derelict buildings but you don’t choose it for the view! I probably wouldn't walk about on my own at night but plenty of people were and I felt safe enough as a couple. There is a nightclub to the side, although we were at the opposite end so didn’t hear the noise (others did). There are a number of bars and clubs behind Seel St too, but only on the last night (Weds) did I hear music or street noise. Down the road to Lunya for a lovely Spanish breakfast (directions in room to there and loads of other breakfast places – some deliver too). Reception couldn't be more helpful. Arrived to the best staff welcome we've ever had! The reception staff member was friendly, welcoming, very helpful and informative. Room was what we expected- modern, clean and comfortable with excellent soundproofing from the road. Bathroom was modern. Walked into the main town area in 5 mins and to the docks in about 10.
