"Candlewood Suites in Downtown Mobile"
The hotel was very nice. I was hoping for some kind of breakfast to be included. The only option in the hotel was a pantry that they have on the honor system. The choices were not great and the coffee was not drinkable. When we booked it said it was pet friendly. When we checked in, they said there was a $75 non refundable pet deposit. This was never […] mentioned before. And non refundable is not a deposit. Finally, at 2:30 am our AC started rattling so loud that it woke us up and sound like a jack hammer in the room. We had to turn it off and sweat a bit since it was middle of the night and both our kids slept through it. We didn't want to wake them for that but it was not pleasant for us. On top of it all, the bedroom had no ac in the room, it had a small fan that pushed air from the living room. So it was already about 10 degrees warmer than the living room. Really poorly designed. This is a bargain gem hotel. Big room with kitchen and cheaper than other big name places that offered less. Staff treat you like family! Safe area! We found our preferred hotel chain.

"Candlewood suites Mobile"
My husband and I were very pleased with our stay at Candlewood Suites. The room was spotless and the furnishing were very nice. I liked that you had to have a room key to gain access to elevators and stairs, it kept out people without business being there. We will stay again next time we are in the area. It was a good value.

My husband and I recently stayed at Candlewood and we were pleasantly surprised at how exquisite our room was. It came equipped with a full refrigerator, stove, dishes, etc. I love this place and it is within walking distance to all the downtown attractions. I have never stayed here, nor heard of it. I am an loyal patron of hotels.com. There was a […] booklet in our room that lists addresses and phone numbers to every Candlewood Suites in the US. Sadly, I will no longer need hotels.com because now I can call Candlewood directly no matter where I travel. I truly love this hotel chain and I need to look no further. Great front desk staff, rooms so comfortable and spacious. Definitely stay at suites again.

"Great Stay"
I was a little hesitant of where we were staying at first but after getting to the hotel it was amazing. The place looks brand new and the rooms are massive. The staff is extremely helpful and it took no time checking in or out. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the Mobile Convention Center. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
