Me n my wife chose this because of its old style facade. We liked the place mainly for its serenity. Its very peaceful not at all crowded. Its very good for folks who are seeking a calm place. Close enough to Calangute and Baga (two wheeler)..Close to restaurants , eateries, departmental stores etc..Overall had a pleasant experience..

Casa Severina is located on a tiny side street in Calagunte which is in North Goa. Taxi rides to/from other northern beaches (Anjune, Anven) were Rs ~500. Our room was cute and clean, but the air conditioning would turn off in the middle of the night, waking us up to our own sweat. The front desk was helpful with some things but couldn't manage to point […] us into the direction of a proper (and open) travel agency to book an overnight train. Luckily by wandering around enough we found one, but it was too late bc the train was full- this led to a minor nightmare. But to make up for eir lack of helpfulness is the bartender Girard(?) who is kind, helpful, and loves to share stories. Next time I go to Goa I wouldn't stay at Calangute Beach, but I would highly recommend Casa Severina as a place to stay for anyone traveling to Calagunte. Læs mere

Our stay at Casa Severina was filled with expectations post the review n images we saw on the net about the hotel. It sure was mirrorred if not betterred during our stay with the warmth we were greeted with. The room was nice n as per our expectation (quite, no hassels) n good food options were served for breakfast 'coz mostly we had "liquid diet' […] for lunch n dinner in an around various options available near this hotel, well, this was just our choice. The 'al fresco' bar outside was good option for a nice aftrnoon drink. This hotel is nicely located closer to candolim n calangute beach. overall we were happy to have choosen this hotel as it had all what we had in mind for a "chill in goa'.. This boutique hotel was the Goan version of a cute bed and breakfast. Rooms were comfy, tastefully decorated in an old school manner, and the staff was extremely helpful and nice. Location is very close to the beach. They even helped us arrange motorbikes for rent. The only drawback in my opinion is the food. Stay here, but eat within the town or at […] the beach shacks. Loved our stay at the Severina. It's hidden in Calangute, perfect distance from both the beach and main road. Rooms are so comfortable and amenities top notch. Definitely recommend.

We stayed here for 5 nights and had a lovely time. The location is great, less than 5 mins to the each or the main street where you could get a taxi to anywhere. It's approx 5 mins in a taxi from the main hustle and bustle of Calangute. Baga is approx 15mins in a taxi. Our room was not part of the main house but just beside it. The rooms was very comfortable, […] lovely pool and breakfasts were good too. The little bar area is very cute and we had drinks there a few nights at very good prices! It is an excellent hotel to stay. Decoration of old Protugise ways, making you enjoy a total different experience of India. It's a place to relax and re-charge especially after a period of stressful work in the city. We will definately be back for the stay.

We spent a most enjoyable 7 nights in this delightful small heritage hotel. It is in its own lovely grounds with exceptionally good bar and restaurant staff. Our only quibble was with respect to aspects of room service - getting tea bags etc. I would thoroughly recommend the hotel. The beach is about a 10 minute walk and some shops/restaurants about […] 5 minutes. This not the liveliest part of Calangute regarding choice of places to eat but a taxi or tut tut is cheap. The hotel restaurant has very good food and at reasonable prices although a slightly more extensive menu would have been an improvement. However we were there slightly off-season. One and only heritage hotel in calangute-Goa, with over whelming staff and nice place for sit and relax for which pepole travel across worlwide.

Hotel was value for money but during off season some of the basic services where missing. Interiors of hotel is quite nice and ambiance lives upto its expectation. Food was below average. They were not been able to serve hygienic breakfast buffet. They are also not clear about what are basic room requirements which should be met. Its a small property, […] you may or may not like it. We read other peoples reviews on here and booked this hotel at the last minute, so glad we did! This place is extremely quiet in a little nook, only a 2 minute taxi ride to the main street of Calangute. Has well decorated rooms with lovely antique furniture, informative friendly management, good amenities, good room service, breakfast included and cheap […] wi-fi. Only thing I could say is the food quality and restaurant atmosphere could improve a little, but for breakfast it is nice.... and if youre happy to explore the surrounding areas for restaurants for lunch and dinner like we were, then this is the place for you. This hotel is very well constructed and the behaviour of the staff is very polite. The amenities and the facilities as shown in the website is almost 100% same(in real) including the pictures shown. The only disadvantage is that there's a mere walk of 1.5 kms from main beach market to hotel which gets accomplished by hiring a bike or car. Overall very […] nice and pleasant stay. We were a big group of 14 and we were a little apprehensive ourselves, wondering if the Hotel would be big group friendly. The Hotel Staff gave us a warm welcome and we enjoyed our stay here. We stayed here 3n/4d and our little vacation was made wonderful by the quality of this beautiful hotel and its staff. The entire Hotel is very well maintained. Our room was sparkling clean and was well stocked with all the amenities promised. Our suite was spacious, well decorated and had a nice little balcony overlooking the pool. Rooms are very tastefully […] done and the wooden furniture adds to the great ambiance. Excellent service with a bit of personal touch made our stay memorable. A personal thanks to Mr. Johnson, Elita, Cynthia and the boys who served us. You guys rock!!!! This place is ideally located and is close to all the famous beaches (Calangute, Baga, Anjuna) and attractions like Fort Aguada, Panaji etc. There are some very nice restaurants near by but the food in their own restaurant is also of high quality. The place was perfect and it was a quite a surprise, i loved my stay for all 3 days and couldnt ask for more.. the only thing that needed a look was at the menu, the options to eat were hardly any to be precise only 3 veg dishes to choose from.. rest was fantastic

this was our first trip to goa and we will def be going back, escpecially to stay at Casa Severina. It was a last minute booking ( a couple days before we were to arive) and I don't have enough good things to say about them. They sent a cab to the airport to pick us up and it took about an hour to get to this hidden gem. only 12 rooms but they were […] all amazing. We're from the US and believe me when i say it lived up to any 4 star hotel by our standards. Each room had a gorgeous bathroom with a tub and shower (not to mention a western toilet!), AC. satellite TV, celiing fan fully stocked and very reasonably priced mini bar, balcony, and comfy bed. its only a 5 minute walk to the beach adn some amazing restaurants and shacks. an auto from the main road to calungute market was only 50 rupees. this place is away from the hustle and bustle of Calungute, but close enough to it if you want to venture out there. can't say enough good things about the place, we'll def be going back on our return trips to india! This hotel was a pleasant surprise. I was VERY impressed with the architecture and the beauty of the building. The breakfast was suitable and it was only a 5 min walk from the beach. The hotel car and driver were useful and overall it was a good experience. The only negatives were that - I was in a front deluxe suite right beside the reception desk […] - it was very noisy at night. If you get a room on the 2nd floor or in the back, it should be fine. The wifi also works only in specific parts of the hotel also. Watch the breakfast charges that can get hidden on your arrival day also. Overall I would stay again though. Læs mere

It had been a fabulous stay of 3 nights at Casa Severina. Very courteous staff and friendly people. Breakfast was excellent. The best part of our holiday was that we stayed at Casa Severina. It was a much awaited vacation for us so we spent a decent time deciding about the place of stay….reading reviews and all. This place looks like an exotic villa very peaceful, calm and serene yet centrally located and close to baga, calangute and candolim beach. Every nook and corner […] of the hotel is very well crafted and tastefully done and moreover it’s maintained extremely well. We were very happy to find bicycles offered by the hotel for visiting nearby places. Had a lovely ride on ladybird which reminded me of my school days. What makes this place delightful is its staff…each and every person tries his best to gratify the guests. To mention Mr. Johnson, the manager who personally interacts with guests daily and at times go out of the way to ensure that they are comfortable …then Suresh ,the house keeping guy who made lovely designs from towels in our room…Aulvin and Ujay always ready with a smile on their faces to please us. I should thank the chef for the delicious and hygienic food specially baked beans and mushroom shakuti and of course all the people engaged into the cleaning work…every place from the rooms, dining area, subway and pool was spotlessly clean… Each and every person performs their duties with full dedication and makes sure that your stay is memorable & you don’t feel like going back. Actually it’s the people who make this place a home away from home…I am gonna visit this place again and again. Thanks to all of you for your hospitality. Hats off to you Johnson and your team!!! Hotellet er plassert midt mellom stranda og hovudgata, fem minutt frå begge deler. Det er FANTASTISK stilt og fint der - med eit reint og fint symjebasseng for dei som ønskjer det, litt for djupt for barn. Находится на спуске от главной дороги Калангута к морю, примерно посередине. В месте спуска с главной дороги стоит церковь Св. Георгия, белая с синим - хороший ориентир, там и вывеска Casa Severina видна. Тут же остановка автобусов и стоянка такси. Напротив церкви у спуска к отелю - отличный ресторан Антонио, всегда заполнен, надо бронировать заранее. […] Недалеко есть универсам (не говоря о куче других магазинов). К морю от отеля спускаться минут 10 по узким улочкам. Каналов русских нет, язык общения - английский. Персонал вежливый, все убирают каждый день (если табличку не повесить). Могут постучать вечером, если днем комната была занята или висела табличка "не убирать". Мой номер был standart не в основном здании, а в отдельном помещении. Понравился вполне, сейф бесплатный в номере, мини-бар (платный, кроме двух бутылочек воды), сам номер красивый, чистый. Меню ресторана отеля лежит в номере, можно и в ресторане поесть и заказать в номер. Меню по ценам как во многих ресторанах для туристов, но выбор невелик. Отличный отель, по-моему. Læs mere

Mycket trevligt hotel i lugn omgivning. Restaurangmaten hade lite kvar att önska, men sägas bör att vi var där i slutet av säsongen (slutet av mars).

Casa Severina was a great hotel with excellent service. Rooms were clean, pool was bigger than I expected and it was just a great hotel. It was a bit on a side from the center, but that was actually good. Beach was in walking distance.
