En lidt skuffende oplevelse. Hotellet ligger godt, 50 meter fra Ben Thanh markedet. Så meget centralt. Rooms are very nice and roomy, and good location. They could improve on their service and maintenance. The phone did not work in my colleague's room which was inconvenient for wake up calls, etc. My room had the vanity light burned out. Also, had trouble with my key card and they were very slow in responding. Breakfast was okay, but had much better […] at other hotel we stayed at earlier in our stay. The hotel room is clean & staff is friendly. It is just a stone away from Ben Thanh Market. Is very convenient. value for money. It is good esp for Muslim as part of the breakfast is Halal

I like it and close to all things

Staff were friendly, room was nice. I liked the location close to a park, convenience store, market and air conditioned cafes within 5-10 min walk. The breakfast was good. You need to walk up one flight of stairs to the breakfast room so may not suit those who find that tricky. I had a very pleasant stay. You could not be better situated for Ben Tanh Market and the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh city than here. The hotel is pleasant and clean, staff helpful, and room a decent size. Just opposite is a lovely little restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and you are round the corner from plenty of more local, cheap places for Pho or curry. With the price we paid through internet booking, the hotel was quite a steal! It is clean and well-maintained and the breakfast fare, while not overly sumptuous, was quite good. I booked 3 rooms in this hotel, however it seems like the hotel staff didn't prepare for it and assume the booking is for 1 room. When we arrived and check-in, we were given 3 rooms far apart from one another in 2 floors. My friend took the level 8 room which is a floor below their Restaraunt and every morning during breakfast time, there will be […] lots of noise through the ceiling which wake my friend up. Lastly the shower, you cannot control the water temperature, it is either too cold or too hot! Then the wifi service went down and require 1 whole day to repair. Which left us without any wifi to use. Other than those issues, the hotel is just a stone away from Ben Thanh market which is very convenient. Staff speaks very poor English, suite room is a joke - equal to standard room in Europe. The only positive thing is that the hotel located in a small street where is very limited traffic.

The hotel is very close to Ben Tain market. Food is very easy to find. just a few steps away from Pho24 and Pho2000. 10 minutes walking to pham nyu lao, where most of tour operations are. Breakfast is good. We stay on 8th floor. Room is small and the wall is very thin that you can hear noises from outside and the staff working in the restaurant on […] 9th floor at 5 AM!! Good value for money with good breakfast. This is the second time we were staying at this hotel. The hotel needs some maintenance though. The staff were very helpful in dealing with a taxi driver who overcharged us. Located conveniently and near the famous Ben Thanh market.

We firstly booked a superior room on Nov 29 and we decided to come back to Ho Chi Minh city a day earlier as planned and then booked another night with this hotel on Nov. 28. Due the superior room was fully booked and we therefore booked a suite which was a bit expensive. Case reported to the reception staff and ttwo staff were sent to clean up my room late at the night. In the next morning, when we went to the restaurant for breakfast which was on 9/F, we also found some ants on the dining table. Clean and easy access to shopping centres /market etc. Very convenient. The only set back we felt was, although 2 rooms (delux room) booking was done weeks back, we were not given rooms in the same floor or side by side. Usually bookings together as family or with young children should be convenient to have on the same floor or attaching rooms.

The hotel is just down a sideroad from Ben Thanh market and 5 min walk from Ben Thanh bus station. It is within easy walking distance to the main tourist sights around Dong Khoi. The rooms and frontdesk service are good. There is also usually a VinaSun taxi parked in front of the hotel so transport is easily available. The location was very convenient if you will buy local products. The hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room is very clean and this hotel is very cheap.

Really decent hotel in a great location. Short walk to Binh Tay Market and between up market (sterile part of town) and budget (teeming with back packers) hotel areas. Clean good rooms and pleasant staff. Cu Chi tunnel tour arranged by hotel was disappointing as we paid double what the agents were selling them for on D Pham Ngu Lao

I've stayed in Hoang Hai Long 2 for twice,it is in deed a good hotel,value for money.

Extremely good location just a minute from Ben Thanh central market, and in an area otherwise very central. Rooms clean, silent and tidy. Personnel helpful and good at English.

it is a good location , it just near the benh than market in a walking distance within a minute but only the console of the room is poor while you may hear people are walking pass your room even inside the bathroom you can hear the water sound......

The location is perfect and the hotel rocks. The only downside is the restaurant but give there are tons of great places to eat in the area that's not an issue.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there recently. It's my 3rd visit in HCM within 6 months & I chose Hoang Hai Long 2 for my guests & I ( both times I took 7 with me) on our last 2 visit. The complimentary buffet breakfast is surprisingly generous & the rooms are clean. Just as advertised. Best location, nice rooms, great breakfast! Overall, loved everything about the staff, service, location, food, rooms. Here is the downside......Super noisy in the morning to the point you have to get up!!! The hotel has all hard flooring with no carpets to dampen the noise. The walls are paper thin. We stayed at the hotel from 20 to 23 January 2011. Room was small but clean and comfortable. The bathroom do not have a curb and shower curtain to prevent the whole bathroom from getting wet. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was satisfactory. The hotel was located very near to the Ben Thanh Market and the night market was just in front […] of the hotel. Even though the markets were nearby, we did not find it too noisy.. Places of attraction was within walking distance from the hotel. There were two PC for Internet access at the hotel lobby. the staff was not nice or willing to help when they could not give us the rooms we reserved. right outised the front door there was a huge market, which made for a very busy street. the hotel is difficult to find, but in a convenient location.

The hotel is very clean, hotel staff are very friend. This hotel is right at the centre of the night market and is just beside the famous ben then market in the day. This hotel is highly recommened.

Hotellin sijainti on erinomainen, ravintolat, ostosmahdollisuudet ja nähtävyydet lähellä kävelymatkan päässä. Hotelli on uudehko ja hyvässä kunnossa. Huone oli pieni, ilman ikkunaa, vähän säilytystilaa mutta siisti. Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä, kohteliasta, auttavaista ja englanninkielentaitoista. Neg; rummet saknade fönster, hade bara ventilation till trapphuset. Mkt lyhört. Pos; låg verkligen mitt i smeten, trevlig personal, wifi på rummet.

Trevligt hotell med vänliga personer i receptionen. Frukosten bra (flingor, toast, nudlar med grönsaker). Jättenära till marknaden. Minus för extremt tunna väggar som gör att man vaknar så fort någon går i korridoren. Ta med öronproppar!
