NEWPORT RESORT - Egg Harbor

We went off season & enjoyed everything from the one bedroom suite, Shipwrecked restaurant(microbrews), Casey's, Door Peninsula Winery & Distillery(excellent), the Log Den, breakfast at Rusty's Tractor Café, Harbor Ridge winery & the cheese shop. We'll return, we have 1 more winery to visit-Orchard Winery. One day it rained we browsed thru the antique […] shops on Hwy 42, by afternoon it was sunny again. We were always happy to return back to our suite at Newport Resort & enjoy some down time. One night we even got a pizza from the front desk & had our supper in our room. The guest service was outstanding, we did not need to ask for anything. The jaccuzi suite was wonderful if not a little small. It was clean with a balcony, fireplace and a small equipped kitchen. The couch was a little small but comfortable. The shower could use some new showerheads on them but the acutal jacuzzi was wonderful. A great view of the water […] and bluffs. Lovely place, great room, very convenient, friendly staff. I only have one negative comment, and that was about the continental breakfast. Bread/bakery items were stale or obviously thawed, and staff didn't check on things frequently enough to refill in a timely manner. I had to go out and ask.

Very nice condo development in lovely Egg Harbor. Very clean and comfortable room in a centrally located area of Door County. Staff was very helpful, informative and friendly. Very nice indoor pool for kids. Continental breakfast was adequate which is all one can expect. I had problems connecting to their server which needs to be more powerful. Egg Harbor was a little slow in April, but to be expected. The service was excellent and we loved that it was within walking distance of down town Egg Harbor. Great price for all the amenities: breakfast, wi-fi, indoor and outdoor pool, whirlpool, sauna and small indoor play area for children.

Our one-bedroom suite at the Newport Resort exceeded our expectations. It was clean and quaint. We also thought it was cute that there is a small, little book in the room where guests who have stayed there in the past have left notes and comments about the sights, activities, and restaurants in Door County. It was very useful and helpful. We enjoyed […] getting fresh towels delivered to our room, even though we had the "do not disturb" card left in our door. It's always nice to have fresh towels waiting outside in a basket when you get back to your room. They have the best-tasting coffee in their lobby/breakfast area. I wish I could have taken some home with me. The weight room had working, functional equipment: one treadmill, one eliptical, one stationary bike, some free weights, and also a universal weightlifting station. Læs mere

The Newport Resort was beautiful and very, very clean. The pool and play area were spotless. The front desk staff was very friendly, homey, and really helpful. It was quick weekend get-away for the family, and we would definitely stay at this resort again.

The minute I stepped foot into the lobby, I knew that my stay was going to be good. The staff was awesome, super friendly, and helpful. I then stepped into my 2 bedroom suite and was totally blown away! I don't do a lot of traveling and I found this suite to be the nicest place I've ever stayed. I can't wait for next summer to stay again! I enjoyed […] using the fitness room and laying out by the pool. It was hard to leave on the last morning of my stay. My only criticism would be that the beds need fluffier pillows! I like big firm pillows and these were not like that. However, I did have a great night's sleeep, so the pillows is not a major issue. Our stay was very pleasant. The suites were very nice and lots of space. The hallway was a little dark and by the game room it could get noisy. Overall a nice hotel.

We only stayed one night, but had a beautiful, 2 bdrm suite.....very clean and comfortable. We could walk into Egg Harbor. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was ok. One minor issue with the room was the air conditioning. It really was not efficient. Overall, I would definitely stay there again.

This is a condo property rented out to vacationers/travelers - 2 bedrooms and 2 baths made our stay WONDERFUL! Clean with great ammenities (pools, game room, outdoor grills, etc.). Great location - about half way on the penninsula so easy to go either direction -- either South to Sturgeon Bay or north to Washington Island. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Location was great, centrally located to everything in Egg Harbor, and also great location to get to many other locations in Door County. Staff at resort was very friendly and helpful. Condo is not huge, but used primarily as place to sleep/regroup. Great having small kitchen. Next time we will actually plan on eating in a bit more. Had a great time […] and really enjoyed our stay! loved the room, enjoyed the suite very much. Breakfast is a bare bones continental, no big deal. Just get some coffee or tea and head off to one of DC's wonderful breakfast places! Staff VERY helpful!

New Port Resort is a excellent hotel. We found the room to be spacious and very well equipped. We had a 2 1/2 year old with us the the play areas were excellent for him. The staff is very friendly and were very helpful with answers to any of our questions. We look forward to returning in the near future.

Went to stay at Newport Resort in Feb with a group of family and friends. The location is great! We rented a 2 Bedroom Suite which came with a kitchen, dining room and living room complete with a fireplace. There is a great pool and sauna as well as kids play area. They do have continental breakfast which is okay. Its nice not to have to leave the hotel […] for breakfast however the options are limited between, cereal, plain bagels, doughnuts, bread, and english muffins. Our suite was very nice and cozy. The resort is in a great location next to numerous shops. Fish Creek and other shopping destinations are only a short drive away. Læs mere

Das Hotel liegt zentral auf der Insel Door County und eignet sich gut zur Erkundung der Insel. Fahrradverleihstationen sind schnell zu erreichen und das Hotel selbst verleiht Fahrräder. Der Weg zum Lake Michigan ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten zu bewältigen, allerdings verfügt Eggharbour nicht über einen Traumstrand. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, […] die Zimmer bzw.
