"Billig og god service"
Venligt personale og tæt på indkøb og resturanter. Fin lille pool. Aircon larmede meget, så den kunne man ikke rigtigt have tændt om natten hvilket var et problem da der var meget varmt. Men alt i alt en rigtig god oplevelse.
the stay was not good for my wife at all, very scary for me also, the room was dirty, people live year around in hotel, bikers loud all night, had to take sheet off of bed to put on window so people could not see in the room, people next door kicking each other out of the room all night and then yelling" let me in" rented room for two nights and only […] stayed one night and that was bad enough. will never stay here again and will not recomend it to anyone even my dog has a better room then this. "Stay but expect what you payed."
Was a ok room. Perfect for do-it-yourself stay with tiny kitchen. Bad was the biker annual trip from Las Vagas that took most the room to park and the No black out shades was the worse. Won't stay again but it worked if your party all night and wake up at 5am.

Cheapest rates in LHC, AZ. Nice beds, towels, & rooms. Watch out for local residents. Debbie is great & will take care of all your needs. Upgraded related property down the street if you need more amenities.
"Not bad and cheap"
It was my first time at Lake Havasu for Spring Break and the Sand Castle Inn is not bad. It was by far the cheapest place to stay, and if it wasn't for the location, I would not have noticed all the bars on McCulloch rd. London Bridge is a 2 mile walk (someone stated 5 miles, which is off). I was comfortable throughout my stay. Nice bed, mini refrigerator, […] microwave, tv, table, chairs, and bathroom. I experienced two inconveniences which was my key stop working and had to replace it and the toilet only functioned when you hold down the knob to flush. ROOM WAS NOT READY AT CHECK IN - RETURNED A HOUR AND A HALF LATER - STILL NOT READY - NO DOUBLE LOCK ON THE DOOR - MY WIFE DID NOT FEEL SAFE THERE - WE ENDED UP NOT STAYING THERE BUT DID PAY FOR THE ROOM - MANAGEMENT SAID THEY DID NOTHING WRONG SO WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THE ROOM
This was the most unsafe place we have ever stayed, checked out on day 2, the door didn't lock, no hot water, fist hole in bath door, Lisa Good very unkind and rude on phone. "Havasu - Cheap, easy and friendly"
The hotel was close to town, staff are friendly and the room reasonably priced. Near the hotel is a shooting range. I suggest trying out the machine guns for a true Arizona experience.

If you like the show My Name is Earl, then this is the hotel for you. Loud noise upstairs, barking dogs, overall dinginess and lack of upkeep. Not recommended.

The rooms are not in good condition. The air conditioning did not work and this is in the desert. The staff is wonderful but I would not stay here again.

This is one of the less expensive hotels on this site so don't expect 5 star treatment. The room has everything you need, a bed, AC, shower,TV, and even a little mini fridge. "Great value"
This is a small older hotel, so do not expect the Marriott but it is clean & updated. Staff was great! Pool was clean.Close to everything. My only complaint is there were no black out curtains, only thin small blinds. Will be going there again. Great value for a weekend getaway!

it was a nice hotel alittle hidden but by alot of gas stations bars and stores the one problem is that it is a cheeper rate then others so u get alot of noisy kids so if u like to party its a great place if u want a quiet place not so much
"Sand Castle Inn - Not Bad"
We got in town at 1am on a Thurs night, there was nobody in the office. There was a sign outside that points you to another hotel for after hours support. Went to that hotel to find our room keys in an envelope taped to the office door. This was slightly inconvenient but at least we got our keys. The room itself was adequate, good shower, beds, tv, […] sink were good. For the price of the room we were happy with it. The only compliant is that we only had two towels in the room, and there was nobody in the office at 8am for us to get towels from. If you are looking for service don't stay here. Hotel is in bad condition BUT it was the cheapest around and it's fairly comfortable. They really do the best they can with what they have. It wasn't disgusting but hotel was run down and they do have permanent residents. Downfall - no one is on the property (no workers) past 4pm. I would rate this hotel a 1/2 on a scale of 1 to 5. Old, dirty, very small rooms, over a third of the room are rented monthly, to low or no income people. We apologize if your stay with us was unpleasant. We take pride in our establishment and work very hard at accommadating all guests. Our rooms have been completley renovated and are very clean. We do offer weekly and monthly rates that all people can afford. During the off season are office hours do vary. There was no reason for you or your personal property to feel unsecure. Our property is very safe and well liked by many. Again, I apologize for any inconvience you experienced during your stay.

"A nice and quiet motel in Lake Havasu,"
I enjoyed my stay at the Sand Castle. You can see the desert mountains and the lake from the parking lot. The room was nice and comfy. If you are going to Lake Havasu I would recommend this place.

"Didn't get much for our money."
The desk clerk was very friendly and the bed was good, but that was about it. The building is old, there was only one waste basket in the room, no hangers or kleenex, no ice machine or ice bucket, no coffee maker in the room, it is a bare bones operation. At our next stop we stayed at a Ramada and got a whole lot more for $4 more per night.

The room was O.K. for the money. Air Condisioner was very noisy. Only 1 bar of soap for two individials. No wash clothes for the second day.
"Just for fun!"
My husbands family lives in Havasu and he grew up there. We went to visit for the weekend from Phoenix just for fun. We've stayed just about everywhere and for the price this is the only place we'll stay from now on. We loved it. And ofcourse I love that it is next door to Taco Hacienda! One of the greatest places ever.

This place worked out GREAT for me. When in Havasu, I am on the water or from dawn to dusk. This is a great value if you only need a place to sleep, shower and regroup for the next day of fun on the lake. Location was great. Next to a police station, several stores (I liked Safeway, as I could get 2 Hogies for $1.99, my Starbucks coffee, ICE and be […] off to launch) and places to eat or snack. I had no problems with my NEW Sea Doo parked in the lot, and no one bothered my Mountain bike that was locked in the back of my truck bed. I suggest the second floor facing Mesquite as the view at sunset is very nice. I brought my own pillow but the bedding provided looked fine. They supplied plenty of fresh towels each day. If you are looking for maid service each day this may not be the place for you. I assume if requested they would provide. I was perfectly ok with taking out my own trash and was not in the bed long enough during my stay to request change of bedding. (preferred for me, as I do not like anyone in my room anyway) They have a no smoking policy in each room so no smoking smell to deal with. (love that) and the outside noise level was non existent. Read the information on hours of when the front desk opens and closes, if you miss these hours of operation, just 3 blocks down the road is the other property where any function/service is provided. The cooler in the room kept the room at a very chilly 72 at all times. So, I guess overall for the reasonable price I really was pleased with this place. I would stay again when I return. I w2ould disregard some of the above comments, as they are not correct. The hotel does have a pool (clean) and local calls were free. The bath room and shower was CLEAN and plenty of storage space for personal items in dresser. It was convent for us. Other then that nothing unusual about this hotel. We would use it only if we could not find any other hotels in LHC. Other then sleeping there, we weren't there any other time.

"Stay in your Vehicle"
We arrived shortly after 10:00 p.m., it took us basically 1 hour to find this place because it is "Out-of-the-Way", when we get there the office is closed with a note on the door that we have to go to another motel a mile away to retrieve the key, then return back to this place to our room. There was no swimming pool as stated on-line, if we wanted […] to swim again, we would have to return to the motel we had gone to the night before to retrieve our key and swim there. We were very disappointed. The bed was very to soft, almost too soft to sleep in, the pillows were standard size pillows, that were basically worn out and I am not kidding maybe the thickness of a 100-page book. Læs mere
As to this review posted, we apologize for any inconvience you experienced during your stay with us. We do have specific hours to which we operate 10:00am - 10:00pm with a 24 hour on-call service if our guests have any questions. We do have a beautiful outdoor swimming pool which is operating with no specific hours.Which means the pool is always OPEN! As for the interior of the rooms, every room has been completely renovated as of Dec. 2009. Our beds, bedding, appliances, carpet, etc. are new. The quality of the rooms are exceptional & are rates are very affordable.

This facility has very few amenities. It is clean and and fairly comfortable. The price is right for those looking for a budget hotel/motel. Small air conditioner would not cool room sufficiently in the 110 degree heat. Good accomodations for a one night stay. Office did not open until 10 AM so I could not check out and get a receipt.
"Memorial Day Weekend 2010"
We were there for 3 days, everything was good the location was great, next to smith, mexican restaurant, bars. Keith the Superintendent of the hotel was great we needed a small fridge for the room and he went out of his way to get it, that my friends is customer service. Recommended Thank you see u soon.

Overall a nice hotel, pillows were to soft for me. Room was clean, extra towels delivered promptly and everyone there was really nice.
