Outstanding, friendly service from 2 guys running the desk. Rooms must have recently been remodeled, as they were in the nicest shape of any in this class I've seen. Be aware the motel has on property a gas station and a convenience store (latter is where you get key). Combination motel, mini-mart, gs station all in one. Nothing bad to say about my nights stay, but it is a 1.5 or 2 star at best. Had king bed, but only a hard desk chair to sit on. Small tv, room was clean, but had an odor not identifiable. Probably would pay more and stay somewhere else.

For an overnight, yes.

Hotel was connected to a Gas Station. Check-in was done at the Gas-Mart. A bit unusual, you don't see this that often. Biggest gripe was no Wifi which they mention they had. Needed Ice for cooler but had to buy at the Gas-Mart. Very Disappointed with this place. Noise from street can be heard. Had to buy ear plugs to make it bearable.

Arrived in town at 9:30 am and stopped in to make sure we knew where it was. The parking lot was mostly empty. Went about our business until 2:00pm. Tried to check in and was told there was no way until 3:00pm Check in. They had no rooms ready. I guess they clean them ALL between 2pm&3pm. The in room coffee is awful. Either dirty maker or bad coffee. […] The soap wrapper was glued to the soap. The sheets had hair on them "we were hoping that it was from the person making the bed." Plus they were torn. Old hotel but updated nicely. Gas station in front and convenience store lobby is tacky but not a problem. Breakfast is a joke, but the coffee was good. The gas price at the gas station was the cheapest I found on the Monterrey Peninsula. Once in the room all was acceptable for a two star hotel.

The good: aside from being the cheapest option around, the room was clean, quiet and comfortable; plenty of pillows and the AC worked well and was easy to operate. Lots of TV channels to choose from. Lots of restaurants nearby. Not so good: the 'lobby' is a gas station Kwiky Mart. The room was not ready at 2 p.m. but they promised it would only take […] 2 minutes to finish cleaning and they cleaned it in that time. This is the 1st time I have seen a hotel / gas station / market all in one. It was pretty cool. There continental breakfast consisted of coffee & danishes. But it was ok. Friendly staff & clean room. Great for the price with all coneniences.

The room was remodeled which looked great. I don't mind the check in lobby is in a gas station and needing a network cable to connect to internet (or get one from the staff). However, I do mind below: toilet knob broken, so we couldn't flush and I had to flush from inside the tank; bed was noisy every time I turned; window could not block the local […] traffic noise (I was surprised to hear so much noise from a local road). This hotel is a good place to stay for the price. the reviews that said the place was bad are not accurate its an ok hotel if you are going to be out and about

The check-in was in a gas station. No extra's!

The room smelled of smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. The shower head left a lot to be desired, and the bed spread had cigarrette burns in it. The bed was adequate, and the price was economical.

This basic motel is close to a public beach and easy to take highwasy into Monterey. Beds comfortable, lobby nonexistant--Perfect if you spend most of time away from motel.

Do not stay here.

Really didn't like the hotel--it smelled like cigarettes even though it was a no-smoking room. We had to pick up air spray to mask the smell. The front desk was also the liqour store and gas station--ick.
