Mitsui Garden Hotel Yotsuya - Tokyo

Nyere hotel med rimelig store værelser. Alt pænt og nydeligt. Meget venligt personale og fin service. Ligger meget tæt på Yotsuya station, hvor det er nemt og hurtigt at komme omkring i Tokyo. Nabolaget forholdsvis roligt, men også lidt kedeligt. Kan varmt anbefales. Et lille fund til prisen.

I love it. Close to JR and metro, restaurants all around, and near to the bustling Shinjuku area.

I wanna applaud for their excellence service. The hotel staff practice case to case basis to their guest. Before the stay, i made inquiry about the purchase of Ghibli Museum ticket. I found out from the staff that the tickets were available in Lawson Store. During the check-in, one of the female staff approached me and even give me a map to the nearest […] Lawson Store and teach me how to use the machine. A great and well serviced hotel. The internet access is very fast and a TCP cat5 cable is provided to connect to your laptop. For travellers who bring their own electrical equipments, they must remember to bring a plug converter that can plug into the power points that has two flat parallel pins as you cannot plug in those plugs with two round pins […] or those with three pins. really nice neighbourhood, local feeling. subway is very close and easy. I would like to stay at this area again. because the subway is very convience but not too crazy(like shinjuku). relax and planty of small big restaurent to eat. people are very friendly room is bit small. but it is Japan.

Everything is good except room temperature control did not follow the thermostat. We definitely will stay in this hotel again if we ever go back to Tokyo.

Amazing, value. Staff was service minded and able to help with any requests. Restaurant also had great pizza. Hotel is in a great location and graet neighborhood.

This hotel was beautiful! Good sized room, very helpful staff at front desk. Location was very close to Yotsuya station which is only 3 stops from Tokyo, very handy to get around on JR lines. Only 2 negatives about my whole experience here: 1 - my neck pillow was stolen by the cleaning staff. 2 - the breakfast was expensive for what it was, just go […] to one of the many bakeries/restaurants around rather than paying the 1000 yen for an average breaky. I stayed 4 nights in the Mitsui Garden Hotel and i was very sad to leave, the location was fantastic just away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and with a short 5 minute train trip. the hotel was located a 5 minute walk from Yotsuya train station and was very easy to find. The hotel was very modern, very clean and the hotel stuff were very friendly. […] we had breakfast in the hotel one morning and it was a lovely buffet style meal easy cheap and really good food. Stayed here over Christmas and was pleasantly surprised by the both the hotel's service, location, and rooms. For the price I paid per room, in Tokyo, I got a wonderfully designed, clean room with a view, in a fairly central enough neighborhood. The hotel was close to a metro station and I had no problems getting around at all, and the surrounding neighborhood […] had all sorts of walkable amenities and restaurants nearby. The staff was very nice and very helpful, and even left a little Christmas tree in my room over the holidays, as I was there alone for work. It really cheered me up. They were also very smooth with the check in and check out process and hailed me cabs with lightening speed. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. One of the better deals for hotels in Tokyo. The location is the biggest advantage of this hotel. It is about 3 minutes from the JR station. Very important feature for tourists. Can walk with luggage to the train station. Rooms are small, but clean. Friendly staff.

The good points are location, location etc. Also it is attached to a nice Italian restaurant. The negative points are that there's no bath and no wireless Internet. I didn't bring my LAN cable attachment for Mac since I've stayed at a dozen hotels in Tokyo and usually there is wireless. We are satisfied with Mitsui Garden Yotsuya. The hotel is just a block from JR Yotsuya in the business area. It's convenience for us who used JR Rail Pass. We arrived a bit early 1-2pm and they're able to find an available room for us for early check-in. It's really great that they provided bath towels/bottles of water/tooth paste/etc in the bag hanging […] at the door when we posted the sign "do not disturb" on the door. Check-in/out were smooth and fast. We left our luggages for a few hours after checking-out, so that we could travel freely before our flight departed. There was a small supermarket accross the street that you could buy some fruits, drinks (soda/tea), snacks. The room was small as Japanese's standard but it had most of the things we needed. Free wired-internet was provided. We didn't try any restaurant near by. Læs mere

In response to a previous reviewer: this hotel has EXCELLENT (free!) wired internet access, as do most hotels in Japan. I am wondering if this reviewer even realized that there was an outlet for an ethernet cable in the wall and a cable in the drawer of the desk! Beyond that: this hotel is small, with fairly small rooms (indeed a fairly typical, but […] far from a universal feature of Japanese hotels), but very clean and efficient. The hotel is 3 min walk from the subway station, 5 min to Sophia University, with lots of commercial outlets in the neighborhood. It is also only one stop from the Narita Express Train (JR Line) stops at Shinjuku station. If you have too much luggage: a taxi ride is about Y 800 and took 15 mins. Well worth it. Læs mere

The hotel room was comfortable and the pyjamas was a nice touch. The hotel itself was very convenient, especially since we had the JR pass. It was a 4 minute walk from the Yotsuya station, one stop from shinjuku. The only negative point was that it was situated along the main road which made it a little noisy at night.

Though the hotel room was a bit small, the furniture was well-organised and well-designed so that I felt there was enough space. The hotel lobby and rooms are neat and tidy.

Had a very nice single room. Hotel is excellent. Close to Yotsuya subway station. Easy access to Shinjuku area. Only complaint was there was no on-site computers provided by hotel.

Excelent hotel, I would recommend it and stay there again

This is a wonderful hotel with spotless rooms and amazing service. For those not used to Japanese hotels, the room may feel small, but it is nicely designed with a wonderful small bathroom. The hotel is sophisticated without being extravagant, resembling a polished business hotel in the West. The location is perfect, next to major JR and Metro stations […] and within walking distance (20min) of the Shinjuku shopping area (or you can take the JR line and be there in 3 min). The only negative is that the hotel doesn't have wi-fi (not even a pay option). We were baffled but then we realized there is no such thing as free wi-fi in Japan and it is difficult to find internet access anywhere (out of all places!). For those desperate to check email, etc, there is a Fedex Kinkos about 2 blocks west of the hotel. Læs mere

This was a great hotel and only a couple of minutes walk to the Yotsuya subway station. We found it easy to navigate to everywhere we wanted to go from here. Very neat and clean, rooms were the usual Japanese size. Only problem was the uncomfortable pillows, but found they were the same at every hotel we stayed at in Japan. Excellent hotel, friendly and helpful staff, everything in the hotel was great. The only thing that would have made the experience a little better is possibly the inclusion of free-wifi in the lobby or a internet-ready PC, for times when you need to quickly research something. There are laptop computers available for rent at 1,000 yen a night, however, […] they are quite old machines and everything is in Japanese (can be a little tricky to figure things out). I've tried toyoko inn in the past and was so upset with the size of the batheroom. Mitsui Gardens, although a little more expensive, is heaven to me. I took the twin sharing room and the bed is super single bed. Hotel provide shiseido hand,face foam wash, and Polar shampoo condition and body wash. Nice. Mitsui gardens yotsuya is only 2 yrs+ old so […] everything is still very very new. It is abt 5 mins walk (or 10 mins stroll) from yotsuya Jr & subway stations. Yotsuya is 1 stop away from Shinjuku & 3 or 4 stops away from tokyo main station. there are alot of restaurants at the alley behind the hotel. a familymart is just right across the road. i am very satisfied with the comfort & the location of the hotel. clean, new and closed to train station.

Great Location as its less than a 5 min walk from Yotsuya station. Pleasant reception but they spoke very little english. Ask for a tokyo map from them, it's more helpful than the ones you get from the train station or the airport. Unfortunately, we got a smoking room ( they didn't have non-smoking ones avail) which clearly had an odour. Thankfully, […] the hotel placed an air purifier in our room and left a huge bottle of green tea deodorizer spray for us to use. They had also offered to mask the smell for us upon our check in. Bathroom was comfortable and toiletries were very clean and hygenic. ONe of the better sized bathroom as compared to what we had at another popular hotel in Shinjuku. Loved that we didn't have to walk far to the hotel and its along a main street. take a walk to the street behind the hotel and you will find charming small eateries which serve authentic japanese cuisine. very convinient to Tokyo Station ( take JR Chuo line rapid) or to Shinjuku station. I really liked the hotel. The Hotelia was kind and nice and they spoke English well so it was easy to understand. One thing incovenient about hotel was that it didn't offer affordable price of breakfast. It was too expensive for breakfast. My only complaint is that the carpeting in the rooms should be replaced (quite a few stains). But the room was clean.

We arrived at about 9 am so we just put our luggages in the reception since the check-in time is 3 pm. When we came back to the hotel in afternoon, the staff informed that they have already put our luggages in our room. The room is very clean and the amenities are complete and well provided. The yotsuya station is less than 5 minutes walking distance […] from the hotel. This station is only 1 stop away from Shinjuku station if you take Chuo rapid line train. There are many small restaurants nearby the hotel. The italian restaurant in the hotel itself is great. Overall, this hotel is an excellent choice and recommended. Læs mere

Mitsui Garden Hotel is a very stylish, clean, and affordable hotel. It is very conveniently located one block from both Yotsuya train and subway stations. My room was relatively small, but had large window and nice modern furniture, and its bath room was brand new. The hotel staff were very friendly, professional, and spoke basic English very well. […] The check-in time was strictly enforced at 3:00 PM, and the staff were happy to keep my luggage in the main office until 3:00 PM. I recommend this hotel to others visiting Tokyo, and sure will stay there again. Læs mere

受付の担当者の対応が素晴らしく、快適に過ごせた。

受験のため禁煙ルームがとれず、仕方なく喫煙ルームにしたものの、煙草の匂いが咳きこむほど、枕やシーツなど部屋中にしみついていました。 　 他のホテルでも喫煙ルームに泊まったことはありましたが、ここまで酷いのは初めてでした。

部屋も清潔で、シャワールームの天井からのシャワーが快適です。 すぐ近所にもお洒落な飲食店が多く、おいしい日本食も堪能でき良い出張ができました。

部屋が機能的で使いやすかった。泊まった部屋には窓に向かって大きく広いデスクスペースがあり、いすもすわりやすく、クッションもあり、ホテルで書き物をしたい人や、パソコンで作業する人にとってはうれしい。またベッドのところにライトがあり読書もしやすく、天井にも明かりがあるので全体的に部屋が普通のホテルより明るいと感じた。バスルームも豪華さはないけれど使い勝手はよく清潔だった。いったことのない場所だったけれど、最寄り駅から大通りを直進してすぐのところにあり場所もわかりやすかった。唯一気になったのはBBCの番組表はおいてあったけれど、どうやったら見られるのかわからなかったこと。。。

交通便利(四歲小朋友從車站都走得到),房間佈置整潔貼心,浴室不算小. 附近有美味的鯛魚燒老店,也有小雜貨超市與藥妝店. 下回去東京一定會再去,
