Hotel Benhur - Seoul

Ben Hur is a nice hotel. I did not use the hotel facilities outside my hotel room (restaurant, laundry, parking etc.). The people in the reception did not speak much English but they managed to order me taxis at the requested time. However if you rely on an English speaking receptionist then Ben Hur is not for you. Great location (easy access through & behind - 5 min walk- from the Lexington Hotel - first airport bus stop from ICN airport and last to return to ICN airport for 15,000 Won ($15) each way)... Early ck-in was 30,000 ($30) Won to ck-in at 9:00am vs waiting until 3:00PM in afternoon...a welcomed option we took following early morning flight arrival […] at ICN fm USA. Nice breakfast buffet - only served 7:30am-8:40am! Korean dishes, but also scrambled eggs, fruit, toast, coffee, orange juice. The room photos are exactly as you will find the room :-) The in-bathroom jucuzzi tub as well as the steam shower was a welcomed place after a day of tourism in Seoul. The TV was huge 55" wall mount...flat screen in our Room 606 was super! Both wireless internet and an actual computer free to use in-room. Bed was king sized and comfy. Sofa, coffee table and other counter tops well appointed. Hot water pot great to use for good coffee or tea in room. Many local Korean, Japanese, Chinese cafes close by and very reasonable - if you use the cafes located in the office buildings. The Paris Croissant Cafe & Bakery a must visit. One within 5 minutes from the hotel, next to Starbucks. Their bakery goods, sandwiches and desserts are scrumptious. In cafe service or take out. Subway located about three long blocks from the hotel. Easy access and use of subway system. Seoul is among the cleanest cities I have visited worldwide. Many historic tourist sites to see and enjoy. No need to pay $100+ per night for a good hotel in Seoul. The rates of approx $80+ nightly for our stay in March, 2012 was a wonderful find. Thanks to Hotels.com Enjoy Seoul! Læs mere

I stayed two nights in a double deluxe room, and it was fantastic. The room was lovely and large, and the bathroom was simply amazing with both a soaking, jacuzzi tub and shower/steam room. I was impressed with how luxurious the room was, especially for the low price. There were slippers provided for the room, and a separate pair of slippers for the […] bathroom. The bed was enormous and comfortable. There were four types of lighting, including a dim redish light in the ceiling that created a wonderfully romantic mood. There was a computer with free internet access in the room as well as a large television flat screen television and a remote-controlled air conditioner. The complimentary breakfast was really tasty and filling, incorporating both Western and Korean cuisine. I was extremely happy with my stay here. :) Læs mere

The overwhelming impression was a hotel that was once very nice. The architecture is beautiful, and the facilities (e.g. jacuzzi and steam-room shower) are fancy. However, it is clear that current management is not doing its job. Hotel staff could not communicate in even broken English or understand my simple questions. The room was generally dirty […] - we found hairs on the desk, a red stain on a towel (God I hope it was lipstick), and generally ratty linens and towels with holes in them. 여의도에 갈일이 많아...가끔 이용합니다.우선...근처 호텔들과 비교했을때...거의 비슷합니다.이번엔 방이 없어 디럭스로 예약했는데.... 우선 좋은점은 방이 넓고.침대도 넓어서 좋았습니다. 청결상태도 별이상없이 좋았습니다.글구..가장좋았던건...방에서 주차장에 넣은 차를 예약대기 가능한 콜 시슴템이 있더군요..좋았습니다.편리한것 같아요. 좀 아쉬운점... 액정티비46인치이상인거 같은데...화질이 넘 안좋아서 깜짝 놀랐고요.물서버가 없어서 일일이 커피마실때마다 끓여먹는게 불편했고요....미즈서버 두셔야 할거 같아요.바로옆*보스호텔에는 있는데 아주 편리했습니다.우연히 그런건지 제가 묵은 방 욕실물이 잘 안빠져서 그게 불편했습니다.나름 […] 만족합니다. 今回2度目の滞在でした。 安く、地下鉄駅も近いので気に入ってます。 今回、唯一シャワーの出がイマイチだったのが残念でした。 また滞在したいと思います。

ここは、立地的にはオフィス街にあり、近くには美味しくて安いお店が多かったです。 サウナも近く、夜はそこでアカスリをしてもらってぴっかぴかになっちゃいました。 また、ホテルのお姉さんも日本語が話せたり、韓国語もゆっくり話してくれるので、とてもよかったです。

한국 방문시 가장 어려운 문제는 숙소(잠자리)이다. 지난 해에도 시내 중심가(종로,중구)의 중급 호텔 예약의 어려움 때문에 고생을 했는데, 이번에는 여의도에서 약속이 있어 여의도에 있는 호텔을 인터넷으로 예약하고 이틀간 지내게 되었다. 호텔 벤허의 분위기는 어둡고 햇볕이 들지 않고 옆건물과 바로 마주 하고 있어서 문을 열어 놓기도 어렵고, 날씨는 더운데 온돌에는 온기가 돌고.... 교통의 편리함, 각종 편의시설이 주변에 널려 있어서 불편함은 없었지만 여행자의 최우선은 편안한 잠자리가 아닐까? 잠 자리가 불편하니 깊은 잠을 들지 못해 5-6회씩 깨게되고, 시드니 집으로 돌아오고서야 편안하게 잠을 잘 수 있었다.
