Hotellet er gearet til et lidt ungt og larmende publikum i weekenden (også gæster udefra til skybaren) men har en del mere modne europæiske forretningsrejsende i løbet af ugen, hvilket nok ikke er den smarteste kombination. Der er ingen håndsæbe eller body shampoo på værelserne, så husk at medbringe. Watch out for: If you book a high-up room with extra large bed you might get a small room with a big bed and a view of the office block courtyard. These rooms have connecting doors, which means there may be noise from the neighbors + the noise from the air-condition units in the courtyard. So ask for street view. The internet only connects one device […] at the time, which is a hassle when you have iPads, smartphones and laptops. Det nye Hilton Fashion district i chelsea er bestemt et bekendtskab værd. God service - og butlerservice, som bestemt er et plus når restauranter mv. skal vælges og reserveres. Værelserne er fine med god plads efter N.Y. standarder og beliggenheden ikke langt fra Soho og Village trækker heller ikke fra. På minussiden kan nævnes at det ikke fremgår af […] hotellets info at den - eller lækre tagbar, ikke nødvendigvis er tilgængelig. Den lukkes helt eller delvist ifm. udlejning til private arrangementer - også for hotellets gæster, ligesom man som hotelgæst skal stå i køen til at komme op i baren på lige fod med gæster fra gaden. Helhedsvurderingen er dog, at det er et rigtigt fornuftigt hotel til prisen som bestemt er et besøg værd, hvis du vil besøge N.Y. på budget-luksus :-) Læs mere

Velbeliggende hotel i rigtig fin og god stand. Moderne værelser. Små værelser.

26 street tæt på subway og Penn station, ingen støj,store værelser efter NY standard,rent, venlig kompetent betjening

Boede her 5 nætter og vi nød virkelig vores ophold! Vi betalte ekstra for at få et høj-etage, king-bed værelse (bestemt det værd!), men da vi ankom var der ingen værelser med de specifikationer, så vi blev nødt til at bo i et mindre værelse første aften. Dog reagerede personalet hurtigt, og næste morgen blev vi flyttet til et større værelse med en imponerende […] udsigt til Empire State Building. De efterlod os en håndskreven seddel og sikrede sig at resten af vores ophold var så komfortabelt som muligt. Ikke mange hoteller ville svarer på denne måde på en forseelse. Forresten svarede Hotels.com hurtigt og refunderede værelsesprisernes difference for den første aften indenfor 24 timer! Hvad angår hotellet selv.. Det er nyt! Meget rent, nydelige detaljer, moderne inventar, god placering. Fik ikke chancen for at prøve hotellets restaurant, men jeg hører de har de bedste burgere i byen. Alle burde efterhånden vide, at fashion district ligger praktisk i forholdt til Penn Station, men at området ikke ligefrem er den mest poetiske del af NYC. De ansatte gør det dog til en fornøjelse (ikke mange andre NY hoteller kan prale af dette!), og værelserne er stille og rolige, på trods af stemningen i den travle restaurant/bar. God og opmærksom service, tilgængelige medarbejdere som gør hvad du har brug for. Værelset var i forholdt til prisen gammelt og airconditioningen larmede. Hotellets beliggenhed er perfekt, da det ligger i gå afstand (hvis du ikke er doven) fra det meste af downtown

Personalet gjorde alt for at tage sig af mig. Jeg blev altid modtaget med et venligt smil. Den enste ting jeg ikke kunne lide, var manglen på udsigt. Mit værelse havde udsigt til en anden murstensbygning. Sengen var enorm og meget behagelig.

Very nice and updated hotel. Nice restaurant downstairs. Convenient location to subways and safe area. Laundry mat across the street if you need it like I did. Comfortable room. Would definitey stay here again.

The room was fantastic and the employees were quite helpful. The only thing I didn't like about it was having to pay $15 a day for internet. That kind of thing comes free most places.

it was a very comfortable, clean, and quiet place to stay. a little pricey for size of room and location. restaurant is fabulous!

I stayed at the Hilton in the Fashion District on W 26th St. For the high cost per night of this room, I would expect that to include internet access (they charge a ridiculous extra rate) and I expect a real, full sized ironing board, not a miniature toy one. A mini fridge would also be reasonable. Rooms are very small. I also noticed the maid service […] doesn't wash or replace the glasses, they just wipe them out, and not well either. wasnt my first time to stay in this hotel...both were the tail end of my business trip..which started out in different nyc hotels. both times..i was reluctant to book stays in a 'hilton' -in nyc - specially when there were other potentially more exciting and compelling choices. All the times i stayed here made me realize that it was a very well maintained […] hotel..with great room sizes..and very very clean bathrooms. it was a hopping location and the lobby was buzzing w/ a cross demographic of biz traveller and young, hip people....the location is soo convenient to midtown, chelsea, meatpacking..and most of all ..whole foods..lol..all in all....very solid choice Læs mere

Have been to NYC many times as my daughter went to FIT and is now a resident. So, I've stayed in many hotels here. My husband and I were very impressed with this hotel---sparkling clean, very courteous staff, close to everything, VERY reasonable rates--who could ask for more? It's not your parents' Hilton! This Garment District Hilton was remarkably stylish and attractive. I choose it because I came in from Newark Airport and it is only 5 blocks from Penn Station. I paid extra for an upper floor room, and while only on the 20th the view was good and I was farther from the street noise (lots of young partiers out on a Friday […] night). Big screen tv, decent coffee maker, very nice bathroom, plenty large room, really all quite ok. I didn't arrive until 2:00 am due to late flight but it posed no problem. Easy walk to Chelsea, SOHO. Prices in New York vary by the day. This was the best price for a room with two doubles.(not queens, but adequate for our purposes) Hotel has restaurants and room service. IT is walking distance to penn station. I would chose it again. .

I recently spent a week and weekend at the Hilton New York Fashion district. It was a great location for both business (proximity to my office) and leisure (Nice walk to Times Square and Central Park). The hotel is clean and has lovely decoration. The service is excellent, whether it be in the restaurant, roof top bar, room service, or when you're […] waiting in the lobby (I was given a bottle of water). Very comfortable room. Definitely would go back and recommend it as a great value.

Hotel is in a great part of Manhatten, within walking distance of The Meat Packing District, Time Square, West and East Villages and subway stations. Room was nice and very clean, and although some days we didn't leave the room until 2pm it still got made. The only issues I had was that one day we came back to find the ipod dock had been removed which […] was annoying as we had been using it everyday but it was quickly returned after speaking to reception. And wifi was $15 a day which I thought pretty steep! Hotel staff nice and helpful. Room was nice but on the small side for the price - one chair and not much room for it. Found some very good restaurants in the area and enjoyed the galleries in Chelsea and the high line-- but these were a good walk from the hotel (9th to 11th Avenue).

We took a bus up from Baltimore. It dropped us 2 blocks away. So easy. The hotel was clean and modern. The staff helpful. Several subway lines close by. For being a hotel, the bed wasn't half bad either. The only improvement we could ask for would be the ability to leave the fan on constantly for the HVAC as white noise. The hotel was recently built so clean & modern. Baths are done in granite with a large shower. Rooms are adequate by NYC standards. Staff were especially helpful and polite. Including WiFi with the room would be a good suggestion, as the business centre was quite small. We had a wonderful 6 day/night stay. Hotel service/staff was excellent, and there is a great little "roof top" bar with a beautiful view - nice place for a nightcap! Subway access is only a few blocks in any direction (so expect to do a little walking) and provides easy access anywhere in the city. There are numerous little bars and restaurants within […] minutes walking distance from the hotel, and also deli's, fast food, and beverage stores if you want to pick something up and take it back to the room. Everything about our room was perfect. I paid for a higher floor, and as a result had an incredible view of the Empire State building. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was very spacious (in the New York sense of the word!) The hotel bar and restaurant (Rare) was fantastic, and the service great. I have only two complaints about this […] hotel: 1) There is no handsoap in the bathroom! There are all sorts of facial soaps and shampoos, but nothing to wash your hands with! 2) We were on the 21st floor and could hear every little thing happening 21 floors below on the street. In fact, we were awoken at 7am by a jackhammer that kept going for 4 hours. We could also hear everything going on on our floor- every step the housemaids took, every time they knocked on a door, every time the elevator opened...of course, that's not necessarily the fault of the hotel, but just be wary when you book that if you're a light sleeper, you're in for a rough time. This is the perfect Hotel! Right off 7th ave. in walking distance to times square. Hotel is spotless. Rare bar and grill in the hotel has great food and drinks with at roof top bar. The best place to stay in NY

Great location with fantastic views from higher rooms. However be warned, if you are on the 22nd floor you can hear the roof top bar. The roof top bar is so so, not the best in the city. Overall great value hotel in a good location.

In comparison to many other small Hiltons we've stayed in the city, we found the sheets to be scratchy, the bath towel supply skimpy and the cable channels extremely limited. The lighting inside the door was so poor, we could not use the full length mirror at all. The small fridge provided no space for even one bottle of juice or soda - just the over […] priced hotel fare. Even though there are four elevators, service carts (w/ food or dishes, etc) were always in all of the elevators. And one elevator was being reserved exclusively for the roof top bar crowd in the evening, which I found to be about as elegant as a college fraternity rooftop - very cheap, wine in plastic cups, etc. Overall the hotel is clean and the staff friendly, but We would not recommend this one over the hundreds of comparable choices to make. Stayed 4 nights, can't remember a night where there were not fairly loud noise from the garbage trucks that seemed to take 15 to 30 minutes to finish their load and then repeats in another hour...for 2 or 3 times throughout and latest at around 3am. Window's sound isolation is not adequate. I have had experience with far better sound isolated windows […] in newer buildings in NY. This does not seem acceptable to me for the class and price of this hotel. I don't expect silence but it's a bit too much and would not recommend unless you don't care about noise. Læs mere

3 of us stayed in a room with 2 double beds and it fit us perfectly for our 4 day stay. The staff is extremely courteous and ere very helpful with everything that we needed. The rooftop bar is a great scene, especially when you don't feel like venturing too far off! The location is excellent. Many things are within walking distance and the area was […] clean!
