Rigtig god beliggenhed i forhold til LAX og super med shuttle service. Lidt uheldig med swimmingpoolområde var under reperation, vi blev henvist af en lidt smart receptionist til nabohotel, hvor der var mange problemer med at komme ind. Gode værelser.

Virkelig god service fra alt personalet, meget opmærksomme. Dejlig morgen buffet med mange forskellige ting. Svimmingpool området er ok, kunne være mere hyggeligt hvis det var mere tæt buskads ud til hovedvejen evt. sammen med støjdæmpende anordning. Det samme gør sig gældende ved basket banen. Fitnes rummet er meget småt, der er 2 løbebånd og 1 crosstrainer, samt en multimaskine til forskellige øvelser, ikke særlig god. Vaskerummet er ok. Der er rent og pænt alle steder. Madrassen i sengen og sovesofaen kunne være bedre. Et sted vi godt kunne finde på at vælge igen.

Hotellet er lille, men rigtig hyggeligt. Værelserne er rimelig små, men pladsen er udnyttet godt og har alt hvad man skal bruge. Værelserne er pæne, rene og hyggelige. Personalet er super søde og MEGET hjælpsomme. Morgenmadsbuffeten er lille med et lille udvalg, men stadig fin og nok til at starte dagen på. Hotellet ligger et par hundrede meter fra Beverly Centret, som har et hav af butikker (inkl Macy´s og Bloomingdales) og en håndfuld spisesteder. Skråt over for hotellet ligger der også et supermarked/stor kiosk som har åbent 24 timer i døgnet. Beliggenhed er lidt svært at tale om når man er i LA, da byen er kæmpe stor og har mange områder, men Beverly området er et af de pænere områder og Hollywood Boulevard og Sunset Boulevard ligger ca 10 min i bil op af sidegaden. Hotellet kan helt klart anbefales og er et hotel vi godt kunne vende tilbage til hvis vi igen skulle komme forbi LA.

Vi blev opgraderet gratis til en suite, som var rigtig fin, ren og rummelig. Vi valgte stedet pga afstanden til Dinseyland, ellers ville vi ha boet tættere på centrum. Det eneste minus ved stedet var, at det gratis internet desværre ikke virkede i de 5 dage vi var der:( Resten var tip top.

Eliten mindes med stjerner på Walk of Fame og håndaftryk i cement ved Grauman's Chinese Theater. I Hollywood & Highland Center med butikker og underholdning finder man Kodak Theatre, der er hjemsted for Oscar-uddelingen.

Overall I enjoyed my stay at the hotel but I was not happy that I was put on the 10th floor directly below the Drais nightclub. There was pounding bass until 3 am. I had them move me to another room that night which was supposed to be quieter on the 6th floor and it was actually louder due to club music from a club called "201" which was downstairs […] and out in the open. The manager did his best to handle the situation but I would have rather just been told I would be experiencing loud music and I would not have booked here in the first place. If you can overlook that issue the hotel itself is nice and the staff was helpful. P.S. How do they not have a hot tub? Læs mere

W Hotel: Too cool to be a Luxury Hotel as they call themselves. Since I am born and raised in L.A., I love to see the posers. This hotel is a joke. I stay on hotels around the world ,and for this hotel to cal themselves a luxury hotel is completely wrong. I can give various examples of their poor training. "not what we expected"
the hotel held 500$ a night on the credit card for incedentals, they then charged me foe use of somthing i did not use with out asking me first,the charge was made afrter i left the hotel.

Great hotel; close to everything; Acura complimentary drop off service was great for nearby attractions; concierge was very helpful for finding and making dining reservations
"SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills"
Only two bad things I can say about this hotel. Firstly, the lighting in the room was bad. The hotel is very boutique and so is there lighting. This wouldn't be a problem if the lighting in the bathroom was good for all our womenly needs (i.e make-up) but it was just as bad, if not worse. The only other thing was the very expensive parking. It was $36 […] plus tax for each night you stayed. Bit of a shock when we stayed for 3 nights and were given a bill for an additional $100+ dollars. This is obviously a very LA thing! Læs mere

The hotel was great and near major attractions on hollywood blvd. It was great to handle business throughout the day and then have time to sight see in the evening in Hollywood. Don't go to the club if you don't like techno and house music! Apparently, Hip/Hop and R&B is dead when it comes to the W hotel. "The W Hollywood... Rude Wake Up Call"
This hotel, as I assume all W hotels are, are nothing but decent hotels with a cool brand name that drake raps about. The ideas of the W with their living room bars and all that are pretty cool, and the club/pool area is awesome, however, the W lacks in the actual features a luxury hotel should have. First, check in was very easy and friendly. The receptionist […] was very friendly and provided me with a toothbrush and shaving kit (for free) since I was traveling on a whim and forgotten them. Myself and 2 friends spent a lot for one night.. 1 of 3 key cards worked on the first try. The room was small. Had 2 queen beds a windowsill, a small desk and a bathroom. Although it was very clean, there were no real features worth writing about. The hotel provided an acura car service for free from 8am-8pm. Good luck on them answering the phone. The hotel also has a whatever desk. This is like their concierge. They were nice with helping us find a tour of LA, but slow to respond. At night, seats in the lobby area are few and far between. If you get one, the waitress will get to you when shes ready. If someone is buying 10-15 girls shots at a table, you might as well forget about a server coming. Be patient however, if you get up and walk to the bar, your seat will quickly disappear. They have a DJ playing, so its loud, but that is what they are going for. Gratuity is included on the checks, but they expect more tip on top. 5 drinks cost a little over 100. Left the bar at midnight to head up to the room for room service. Here is where the fun begins, We ordered a cheeseburger, a pepperoni pizza, chocolate chip cookies and 2 cokes. The food arrived in about 45 minutes. There is a 20% charge on the food, plus 5 per person in room dining and 15% or 18% gratuity. In short our food was $90. Plus we had to tip the 17 year old kid who balanced our tray into out room. The W was great. There seemed to be a party going on every night. Little extra's that the hotel does is great, coffee in the morning, nice staff. would stay there again.

W Hollywood is a great hotel with a perfect location. Good standard in total and the room is very modern. Its not a hotel for families to stay at because its a pool party and nightclub open every day. Its a shame that Drai´s (the pool area, restaurant and nightclub) on the roof top of the hotel isnt owned by the hotel and therefor you need to pay and […] stand in the line when you want to enter the nightclub. If you want to spend the day at the pool you will get in without paying. In total this hotel is perfect for younger people that are up for meeting and socializing and some party. "Loud, expensive, drunken party goers, forget sleep"
The hotel tries to be too ultra trendy. There is no sound proofing in the rooms, which is necessary since they seem to have non stop parties at the hotel, and guests are screaming and bacning on doors in the hallways at 3 AM every morning. "Amazing hotel in a great location"
The hotel was ultra cool and the rooms we nice and large. My wife thought there was not a lot of light in the bathrooms, but other than that the place was perfect. If you are planning a night out at the clubs, this hotel is walking distance to a lot a great places. One word of warning if you use Google Navigation, it will try to send you to the Hollywood […] hospital a couple of blocks south of the hotel. Did the same thing to both me and my wife. "W Hotel W Hollywood - "Welcome, Why are you Here?""
I'm pretty well traveled. I've stayed at every type of hotel around the world. I've also stayed at the W in Westwood, Dallas, New York and probably other places I can't think of. You expect the W to have it's own hip, restricted access culture. It usually doesn't bother me either way. That said, this W takes obnoxious to the extreme, like no other hotel […] I've ever stayed in. Let me clarify. Most of the people I encountered were very nice, from the valet to the one bartender who served me (perhaps barring the girl at check-in who was unconcerned even the 3rd time she sent me up to my room with a keycard that didn't work). It's the setup of the hotel... even the rooms which implicitly say, "We don't care." At the W in Westwood, I recall doormen at the front entrance asking for room cards to allow people entrance, because the "Scene" was the lobby bar. I get that. In Hollywood, they also asked to see my room card to let me into the hotel... Then they quizzed me on my room, looked at their "list" and kept me waiting an uncomfortably long time to enter the hotel to go to my room. But why? Once entered, there is hardly place to enjoy. There is a public lobby bar, but at W Hollywood, that's not the "Scene". It's the "30" other roped off areas that mere guests are not invited to enter. There is a club, "Drei's" roped off. There was a second event I saw in an outdoor patio area, also roped off. The Wet Bar, as I was told, was on top of Drei's, and therefore also off access. There was nothing I saw that inspired me to want in to these places. However, the setup was uncomfortable and obnoxious, and as a hotel guest (paying W room rates), I felt like cattle being led to the pen - the only area I was permitted. The rooms were clean. They weren't bad, but not exciting either. You could hear street noise from the 5th floor, but I could sleep through it. All the staff was very friendly, the entire hotel was immaculate and gorgeous, the room was very modern comfortable, and smelled amazing! I got a great deal from Hotels.com. It was absolutely worth every penny. The Delphine restaurant was very very good as well. The hotel gets pretty lively on friday night, so it's not quite, but we wanted that atmosphere […] so it was perfect for us. I would DEFINITELY stay here again! Læs mere

We decided to treat ourselves and stay there while passing through town. The decor was upscale and very modern. The hotel staff was fantastic and were engaging in conversation and hellos. It's not in a great part of town but we felt safe and well taken care of. The beds were very comfortable. I only wish they had a tub to relax in. An amazing place this really is. The pool on the roof is very very comfortable with very freindly bar staff. Even at night between the great steakhouse on the premisis to the outdoor patio firepits and of course another bar this place is a great party hotel to say the least. "Small but cozy rooms"
We arrived roughly at 2:30 hoping we could check in a wee bit early. Well we ended up getting to our room just after 4 :( but the young reception girl was extremely nice and apologetic, she even made a request to let us check out by 2 the next day instead of the usual 12:00, which we took advantage of. :) The hotel is very posh as would be expected, […] the drinks are over priced as would be expected. We were tempted to have a few drinks while waiting the hour and half for our room until we saw that each drink would be $15- those were the cheapest ones of course. "Not Good in Hollywood!"
We were very disappointed with the Hollywood W Hotel. Although the bldg is new and has an impressive lobby and pool on the roof, our 4 night stay certainly did not come close to a 4 star hotel experience. The hotel building, the room and the service had too many problems. The actual hotel room was the most disappointing. FIrst, the rooms are small […] and the closet was only 2' wide (enough room to hang about 6 garments). The air conditioning made so much noise that the compressor (which are surprisingly in each room) woke us up every time it started up throughout the night. They attemped to fix it twice, but didin't make it much better. The water pressure in the sink and shower were the worst I've ever seen in a hotel - it was just a trickle. It was extremely difficult just to get the hot and cold water balanced in the sink, which took forever. Lastly, the quality of towels & linens were certainly not luxurious. The overall hotel is very noisy due to Drai's nightclub on the top floor and the lobby bar/club scene on the 1st floor. We were 3 floors below the nightclub and could hear the music in our room (10pm - 2:30am). The hallways were noisy at night due to alot of party people staying there and partying in their rooms and hallways throughout the night. And the walls between rooms seemed paper thin. The hotel service was pretty bad too. It was slow and they missed our wake up call one morning. The room service order taker was clueless. When the food arrived, it was without the proper set-up and the food was barely warm. The whole time, it seemed the hotel was understaffed and the staff they did have was amateurish at best. Not the level of service you would expect from a 4 star hotel (it should be given 3 out of 5 stars). Lastly everything is expensive - from the valet parking rates (more than any LA hotel), room service and everything in the room had a price tag on it. "Hollywood W- Excellent Hotel"
I stayed for 2 days and had a wonderful time. Beautiful hotel, very clean, and conveniently located. The staff was very helpful and pleasent. The hotels restaurant, Delphine, was great. Definitely would stay there again.

It was pretty good. I found the hotel pretty cheap though. Everything in the room had a price tag and when you start out spending this kind of cash, it could be a little more forgiving. There was a charge just for using the cocktail shaker. I'm a spender and I definitely gave them another $1500 or more at the lounge between cocktails and food for myself […] and my clients that visited me there but the shaker charge was just extreme. Also, cleanup service was slow and incomplete. After three days of not having our soap replaced, we had to grab a maid and request it in real time. Still, I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again. Although, I'm going back in a few weeks (I go to LA about every 5 weeks) and I think I'm going to try to stay somewhere else. I tend to be a creature of habit and I still haven't found the hotel that I would want to make my exclusive LA home. Læs mere

everything you buy at the hotel whether it is room service or valet parking, charges you a tip. For some reason even though you pay the tip upfront you still feel obligated to tip them more... CRAZY! maybe im just weak
"Awesome Hotel!"
The hotel was beautiful the customer assistance was wonderful. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, the people were assisting us. Unloaded the luggage and assisted us to the front desk. I would definitely visit again

"Hôtel W à Hollywood"
Hôtel très design et contemporain, mais personnel peu attentif et arrogant.piscine petite et mal entretenue.Cependant le restaurant Delphine est très correct, et le bar extérieur du soir très branché! petite mauvaise surprise au départ quand on vous fait payer un accès wifi pour chaque appareil connecté...
