It was a nice stay. The room was very clean and the bed so comfortable. I will recommend this hotel to others.

This hotel was decent. On the top floor there is a sun deck which probably would have been nice to use had it not been pouring rain during my stay. Breakfast was OK. They had some hot items, but they were rather low quality in my opinion. Great room, very clean, hotel was very clean, garage was great, breakfast was great. Would highly recommend this hotel again.

I was attending a function and was trying to find a convenient location in Benicia. This hotel was very clean, modern and had friendly staff. The bed and linen was very comfortable and better than expected. The morning breakfast was not great but had the basics to keep you from being hungry. All in all it was a good place to stay.

Hotel in great shape....new, clean, modern. Easy freeway access. Only 10 minutes south of area off I80 with restaurants and shopping. Hotel itself in an odd location stuck in an older neighborhood. Location isn't a problem, but it's not your typical location with restaurants etc. Check the satellite view of Google maps to form your own impression.

Hotel clerk at check in was rushed and unhelpful. Parking was bad. Worst of all was only sheer curtains in room, so bright street light kept us awake.

Nice clean modern place. Easy in , easy out. Convenient for staying locally. Well located, good try for continental breakfast. Computer was ok. Staff at the front desk is not always there. Would definitely recommend. Jim

The hotel clerk was very helpful he told us about a little bar up the street great prices Chinese food right next door which was delicious after a few drinks. Hotel was clean and comfortable breakfast was included which was pretty good plenty of choices.

great staff , super clean hotel , beautiful town, close to highway but you can't tell a real suprise compared to surrounding hotels and prices in that area for a small hotel the morning comlimentary food was very good

The hotel overall was nice and the free breakfast that they offered by far had the most variety then other hotels we have stayed at. The location of the hotel was great, we spent a day in the downtown area of Benicia and it was so nice to be able to walk around and see the area. Clean and comfy place. It is close hotel to Napa and had decent breakfast. Good alternatives to expensive hotels in Napa.

The hotel is located right off of the freeway and also right at the edge of town! Very convenient location. It is close to restaraunts, super markets and even a pretty cool neighborhood Sports Bar (walking distance)! The hotel was very clean and the room was so much BIGGER than expected! I would definetly stay here again!

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding nearby. The hotel was very clean and cozy. I loved sitting and reading out on the sundeck! The breakfast left something to be desired. The food they had was fresh and good, but there just wasn't a lot of variety. However, it was tasty and convenient, and it sure beats having to go somewhere for breakfast every day. […] There's not a lot going on in Benicia, but the hotel is about an hour away from Napa, Sacramento, and San Francisco. When my husband and I arrived we were given a room one the first floor. The room smelled so bad, like nasty mildewed milk. So I told the gentleman at the desk. He was nice enough to switch us to a room on the second floor right away. The second room was even better. The smell was nice and it was away from outside traffic noise. This hotel was very convenient for the purpose of our stay. The rooms were cleaned daily by the staff. The morning breakfast was better than we expected and the rooms were new and clean. I would stay at this location again.

If you need a room in the general area, stay HERE. The hotel is very nice, but Benicia is beautiful. The hotel is new, but the city is old and full of history.I've lived in California my whole life and never heard about this city. It really is a hidden treasure.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was relatively new at the time we stayed, so we were impressed with the cool decor and cleanliness of the hotel. Our room had vaulted ceilings, which made it so much nicer. There was wireless internet available, which was great since we both had our own laptops with us on the trip. The bathroom […] was very nice, although there was a shower without a tub, which was a slight disappointment. One odd thing we experienced on our vacation (on which we stayed in 4 different Holiday Inn Expresses) was that this chain starts cleaning rooms at 9 in the morning. I would have loved a heads-up from reception so that I knew to put the Do Not Disturb sign outside. My husband and I are not early risers, and getting a knock on the door at 9am was a surprise. This happened to us at two of the hotels, and we quickly learned to use the Do Not Disturb signs after that. One great thing about Holiday Inn Expresses are the continental breakfasts. They are pretty good! I found it worth it to pay some extra money for the room just because I knew I wasn't going to have to find somewhere to buy breakfast the next morning. There's cereal, eggs, toast, sausage, yogurt, milk, bagels, muffins, fruit, juices, coffee, and more. All of it tasted good to us! All in all, our stay was quick and pleasant, and we would definitely stay at this hotel again whenever we're in the area. Læs mere

I am a very hesitant hotel guest (especially with all of the bed bug scares) but this hotel met all of my standards (clean, comfortable, accessible).

The room was excellent; clean, inviting and very comfortable. The bed, pillows & blanket were very cozy and I'm a germaphobe, so I love that they put the sheet under and over the blanket! Very pleased!

The hotel was nice, clean, and super comfortable. The front desk staff was great. They helped us with finding a nice place to eat and answered every question we had about the area.
