Etta's Place - A Sundance Inn - Fort Worth

Great. We would stay there again whenever in Fort Worth. Staff are fantastic. Cannot find a criticism.

I fell in love with Etta's. My king suite was very comfortable and the decor was charming. The library, internal courtyards, living room, upper loft, and grand staircase offered respite from a long day of meetings and the breakfast each day was superb. I will definitely stay at Etta's when I am in Fort Worth again.

It was the perfect place!Lots of history. Nice people! Awesome Breakfast!! Perfect location in Downtown Fort Worth! Near everything!! Room was in perfect condition! Service is Outstanding!!

Service is top notch. Breakfasts were incredible. You cannot ask for a better location. Will definately stay here again.

Not for me. Rooms too small and very noisey either from the Restaurant and bar above at the Reata or street noise in the morning. Just blinds on windows which did not keep sun from shinning through in the early morning. parking a block away from hotel. It was just not my cup of tea. Would not go back or recommend.

I stayed at Etta's Place in Fort Worth, Texas for 3 nights. A great place! The best description would be an older, smaller hotel run like a bed and breakfast. A classy place in its heyday, it still has the charm with appropriate modern upgrades. Good breakfast and genteel service.

Great staff and great location. Breakfast was amazing each morning and what a treat.

Downtown hotel with a small bed & breakfast attitude. Awesome breakfast, free downtown parking, free internet, outstanding service. It doesn't get any better than this!

Title says it all. I'd like to live there permanently, but I can't afford it. Plus, I'd gain too much weight from the breakfast. Plus, I'd feel badly every time I walked past that Steinway and didn't play it. I think it's the only place I've ever stayed where I literally forgot to worry about leaving my $1800 laptop in my room.

I was very pleased with my recent stay. The friendly staff complemented this unique B&B. Also, you can't beat the location.

We will stay at Etta's Place our next trip to Ft. Worth -- a lovely B&B in the heart of Sundance Square. Because it's a B&B (not a hotel), hours for check in are limited, though "Etta" does make arrangements for late (after 6 pm) arrivals, and staff is not available 24/7. Parking is not on premises, but subsedized at local lots (w/in a block). We did […] find a spot on Saturday night -- check the policy if lot is full and on-premises staff has left for the evening. Etta's place is a very unique hotel if you are tired of staying in the typical chain hotels. The staff was great and the room was comfortable. The only issue I had was that our room was close to the rooftop patio at the Reata and the noise level from the patrons would get a bit noisy. It did quiet down later after the dinner crowd was gone. We stayed at Etta's Place to attend performances at Bass Hall, and the location was great--just a 5 minute walk through Sundance Square to get to the venue. Lots of restaurants and retail in the area. Service was personal (we were given a tour of the hotel, and at breakfast the next morning, the lady remembered that we had gone to the opera, and asked […] us how it was), and breakfast was delicious, making Etta's Place a wonderful alternative to the large chain hotels. I could not recommend a better place to experience downtown Fort Worth. The location is right in the center of great restaurants and nightlife. It is attached to Reata which (no exaggeration) is my favorite restaurant anywhere! Great Western texas theme and fod, much like the decor of Etta's Place. Etta's is a great place to stay for a variety of occasions. […] There are two patios to enjoy coffee, a library to read any one of a great selection of books in a comfy leather chair and a GREAT breakfast. We were served Rachero Cheese eggs with ham and a delicious array of breakfast breads, yogurts and jams. Everything was incredible...Grab a paper and read while being served coffee and a wonderful breakfast. Can't beat it! The staff was by far the best amenity! We were met at the entrance, brought to our room to unload luggage and given a tour of the B&B to ensure we were aware of all the amenities. You don't get service like this at a chain hotel. The only negative we experienced was the bed. It was a little on the hard side, but some people do like that. Must point out the proximity to great restaurants (Reata, Killer Sushi, PF Chang's w/i 1 block), bars (Fox&Hound, Flying Saucer, 8.0 bar within a few blocks) and parking garage (free on weekends).
