South parts of Manhattan walk distance to boat trip to statue of liberty. Subway train stop to north Manhattan close the hotel. Nice and clean area.

Godt hotel beliggende klods op ad WTC. Hotellets værelser ikke så store men nydelige og rene. God service. Nær Subway og bus til øvrige dele af Manhattan og gåafsatand til Wall St. samt hele havneområdet.

I've stayed here several times now, usually through Hotels.com. Rates are very sompetitive for this neighborhood. It abuts the World Trade Center property and is only a block from my NY office (and teh subway station) so it is very convenient. EVerything is new. Rooms are simple but modern with all expected amenities (flat screen tv, free internet, […] etc.). Some rooms even have view of WTC memorial. Only downside is the WTC construction. The hotel is tucked up against the construction fencing right now and there is the occasional jack hammer or pile driver sound but it is not a real issue. On the other hand it is very safe since there are always police postednext to teh hotel. Not the best location for tourists but great for business downtown. Læs mere

The World Center Hotel is a new hotel built with a strong ethic of environmental responsibility and intelligently utilizes technology to reduce costs. Check in either with one of the courteous and helpful desk staff or with one of the touch screen monitors that dispenses your room key card. Rooms are small but not cramped, beautifully designed, well […] appointed, super clean, and very comfortable. Our sixth floor room had direct views of the WTC Memorial site. On each floor, visitors can grab a free, refillable water bottle or stock up on extra amenities like coffee, soap, or shampoo. The WTC Memorial site is immediately next door and there is construction at the site (starting at around 7-8 am and ceasing at around 7-8pm) but rooms are otherwise fairly quiet. There are lots of restaurants and tourists sites nearby and the subways are a short walk from the hotel. There are only two elevators and, when things get busy, you might have to wait a bit. There is generally only one staff member at the front desk and only two self-check-in monitors in the lobby so, again, you might have to wait if things get busy. We didn't really have any problems but the hotel wasn't too busy while we were there. If you wish to visit the WTC Memorial site, the desk staff has tickets (no cost) or you can print your own at the WTC Memorial website (you need tickets before you get in line). The World Center Hotel is a very pleasant, modern, and comfortable hotel at a very reasonable price. Læs mere

The hotel is right next to the 911 Memorial - excellent location, walking distance to Battery Park, clean spacious rooms, great view from the rooftop restaurant (food not something spectacular though), very safe area as there's a lot of visible policing at the Memorial, they have a complimentary laundry room. My fiance and I are very Happy and satisfied with this hotel. I traveled 6 or 7 times to NYC, and I always had issues with the hotels... This time , it was Perfect. it is in a Good Location ( Metro station pretty close) . The room was clean, We have everything that we need. It was like a small apartment. We didn't know that the works were so close. Very annoying. We accepted a room with no view in a corner. Towels were too small and we couldn't get more. Frankly speaking, too expensive for what it offers. It was a mistake. Sorry...

My wife and I did like this hotel on a recent Saturday night stay. The service was good, although the check-in is almost self-serve. Location is great. Even though there is construction right outside, it isn't all night long. The view is unbeatable, great location, very clean. I would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel with nice views of 911 memorial. The only complaint is the surrounding construction creates dust on the hotel room balcony glass doors that hindered the spectacular views. Luckily we were able to open the doors. Again... a minor flaw for an otherwise wonderful stay!

Very Nice hotel, nice location, friendly staff. Close to subways once you know a little more about the area.Hard to find if you do not know the area as there is construction at Ground Zero, should have called and asked for help as GPS was confused. Overall, I recommend this hotel 100%

This hotel was such a pleasant and calm place to stay for our weekend getaway. The staff member who checked us in was genuinely warm, welcoming and accommodating. Our room literally overlooked the memorial site, a full panoramic view looking down over the fountains and buildings in progress. It was beautiful to see, despite the area construction. The […] rooms were spacious for NYC, well appointed, clean, contemporary and the beds are very comfortable. We loved the style and decor of the hotel. Tasteful and contemporary. Apparently the reviewer from DC is not accustomed to parking in NYC or Boston for that matter - Rates were far better than the $50+ per day for 'lift' garages in midtown area. Self parking in the area was easy and reasonable for NYC - we paid $40 incl tax for 24 hours at the Battery Garage a short walk from the hotel (valet parking is available right at the front door - and seemed similarly priced.) Subway is only a short walk away - get uptown fast and easy for about $2.50 per person. (Surprisingly clean - much like Paris!) Highly recommended. Læs mere

The parking fee were astronomical, around one third the cost of the room itself, a night! The view is horrible.

Superb location , the front door is the entrance to Ground Zero World Trade Center Memorial. Construction is in progress , but the noise is not bad due to the soundproofing the hotel has installed. We didn't hear anything , slept like babies. Our balcony on the 12 th floor opened up over the Memorial. The hotel is new and very clean. I was lost for […] almost 45 minutes because or road closures due to the construction at ground zero , but the gentleman at the front desk stayed on the telephone with me the whole time and directed us to the front door. The staff were all very helpful. The hotel also gives free passes to guests for entry to The Ground Zero Memorial. When we arrived a parking attendant picked our car up at the hotel and took it to the parking garage one block away. When we left ithe desk clerk called for the car and it was therre in 10 minutes. Everyone on the hotel staff were very helpful and courteous. Compared to the prices of other hotels in NYC , this hotel is reasonable for all that you get. Læs mere

The hotel is very convenient to all tourist locations downtown

Nice, clean, newer hotel right near Ground Zero. Room had a mini stove, fridge, and microwave, perfect for families with kids or extended stays.

If you are planning a trip to the new 9/11 Memorial Park, this is the hotel to stay in, you couln't be any closer and the service is very nice and helpful. The restaurant on the 20th floor has an amazing view and the buffet breakfast is very reasonable for the ambience you get for free.

The room was extremely comfortable and very well maintained, especially considering the price. There were some good restaurants in the vicinity. My only complaint is that the walls are thin enough that you could hear what couples in neighboring rooms were up to. If this does not wake you up, I would definitely recommend staying in this hotel.

From the first greeting when I entered until i left, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was well appointed with the best comfort control I have seen in a long time. It reminded me of a hotel I stayed in outside of London.I would definitely go back again.

Stayed here on business and was very happy with everything from the hotel staff to the room. Would definately recommend.

This hotel was very convenient to the ferry from NJ a short walk. It was located near my friends and very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again for sure.

This was a nice discovery. Hidden behind the World Trade Center. Some rooms and retaurant have views or Memorial. New well appointed rooms. Not much around there though.

We stayed at the World Center Hotel for a weekend in NYC recently and absolutely LOVED our stay. The hotel is clean, modern, and very affordable. It was about a 20 minute subway ride into Times Square and all of the other main areas of NYC (SoHo, etc.), and we wouldn't have stayed anywhere else! We HIGHLY recommend this hotel. It is EXCELLENT!

Stayed here for 4 nights during our New Years visit. Hotel is in teh heart of the financial district. Very Close to 2 subway lines. We had a great view from our room of the new FREEDOM building being constructed. Staff was great and very welcoming and addressed all of our needs. The lounge on the 20th floor has great views of the city.

We stayed at the World Center Hotel over New Year's weekend. It is tough to find, we took the subway from JFK and got off near the WTC and starting asking people if they knew where the hotel was located, no one seemed to know. We tried calling to find out where but no answer. We eventually found the hotel! We loved the location in lower Manhattan, it […] is near a few different subway stations and a fairly quick ride to mid town. The rooms are decent size, the one thing that irritated me was that when we arrived, we asked the person at the desk to hold our luggage until we checked in, she said that we could check in early for 35.00, we were tired after a red eye flight so we paid the 35.00. After reading more reviews, I did not read about anyone having to pay 35.00 for an early check-in fee? Also, the elevator situation is not good. Originally two elevators were working but after the first day it seemed one was not working which made the wait for the elevator too long. Anyway, we asked for a room away from the noise as the hotel practically sits on the construction site of the WTC Memorial. There are a lot of cafe's coffee shops within walking distance. Overall, nice hotel, we enjoyed our stay and most likely would stay there again due to location and value. Læs mere

The World Center Hotel was actually a nicer place than I thought it would be. I booked a standard single queen room and it was fairly large with clean sheets and a nice view of lower Manhattan. The complimentary internet was a nice touch even if it was slow at times. All around a very nice hotel in lower Manhattan.

This hotel was roughly $140 less per night than nearby hotels, and the reason was apparent upon entering my room. greasy hand print on the mirror, stains on the comforter, and basically just a non-clean feel. Food options were very limited and times available were also an issue. However, the view of the WTC Memorial grounds was amazing. Hotel staff […] were helpful and cordial. As expected, the rooms are also on the tiny side. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone in good conscience, unless cost was their main concern and they had to be near downtown. Læs mere

This is an absolutely perfect location to bars and restaurants. It is right beside the 911 memorial and offers sensational views. It is clean and brand new, We stayed in a suite and it was very spacious for NYC. I highly recommend this hotel, I don't ever do this but in this case everything was perfect and that doesn't happen everyday.

Although, the construction noise is an issue, the hotel does all it can to accomodate the hotel guest and warn the guest upfront about the noise. The hotel was very clean, convenient to the subway and the view of the WTC memorial from the rooftop bar was memorable.

A remarkable location for those wishing to deeply connect to the WTC memorial and its progress. Convenient location, walking distance to Path and the subway.

Very nice and new hotel next to the 911 Memorial. Although there was a bit of noise from the construction, its a first class hotel!

The hotel is new and clean but not so comfortable. The queen beds are hard and stiff just like my back after a nights sleep. Construction at WTC has stopped during the third shift (11PM to 6AM) which is good.

I normally like to stay in midtown but due to the high prices we decided to stay somewhere a little more economical. My group really wanted to see the 9/11 memorial but we couldn't get tickets - little did we know that we were staying over the site with a good view of the new WTC being built, the new shopping center and a decent view of one of the Trade […] Center footprints. The room was clean, spacious for NYC standards and had a great view. The hotel was very accomodating and the service was terrific. Excellent hotel. Wonderful price for a 4 star hotel in NYC. Loved this hotel only problem I had was the restaurant, our waiter was terrible and food was tough and nasty. If you stay away from in hotel restaurant you will love this hotel.

Very comfortable and clean room. Fresh water and water bottles on each floor. Close to all subway lines. Only negative is the noise from the ongoing work at the WTC site; request a high floor.

Right next to Ground Zero. There was a lot of noisy construction when we arrived around 8 pm. The racket stopped early enough to sleep peacefully. We really liked this hotel and would definitely recommend it for folks who want to be in the Financial district location.

This was a great hotel in a great part of the city. The staff customer service was fabulous!! I would stay there again wen going to the city!! You are not going to get a better hotel for the money.

Great room, great rate, great food in the restaurant upstairs. Near the WTC site so a lot of construction and tourists. Also, the financial district closes early so if you're looking for late night excitement nearby, this is not the location for you. We were 30 minutes late checking out and were charged a fee for it - not cool. Spoke with the reception […] and they waived the fee. All in all it was a great experience - would stay there again. This hotel was a great choice and we will surely return. Firstly, it is new which is rare in Manhattan. Rooms and hallways are shiny and clean. Secondly, the location is great. Metro stations are around the corner and they take you everywhere. We took a superior room and it was large, cozy and clean. It had microwave and fridge. There is a stereo where […] you can put in your music with iPod or iPhone, which is very useful. Coffee machine was in the room. Free wireless internet in hotel rooms and computers in the lobby. The costumer service was exceptional. We had some requests after our arrival and the hotel dealt with them quickly and professionally. The breakfast restaurant is fancy and the views from the restaurant are spectacular. Other toursts wait in long lines to see WTC and you get to see it from above while eating breakfast. Most of the guests are businessmen. Bottled water was very useful. I read some comments about the noise from the construction site. Well, Manhattan is not a quiet place. Here you get noise from the construction, in Soho or around Times Square you would get noise from traffic, in Chelsea you get noise from nightlife. If you want a quiet place, you need to go to the suburbs. Unfortunatelly pets are not allowed in the hotel. Definitely we will consider this hotel on our next visit to NYC. Læs mere
