Paradise Garden Resort Hotel & Convention Center - Boracay

Breakfast was 100% for Asians. My view was half an uncompleted garden, and half the neighbours garbage. The amount of guards is excessive and one of them tried to blackmail me when I came home one evening with a guest.

I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The facility has a great pool . I was there in the rainy season and it was nice to have such a nice pool. Access to the beach is nice. When compare to other hotels that I observe on my walk along station 2 and 3 I felt Paradise was a good choice, The off season rates were decent.

The hotel is located close to all areas of interest and has a beach property. Their pool is also well designed. Staff and service is also of high standard. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

A room with no balcony overlooking a chicken farm and dump. When checking in, told have to eat all food on plate at breakfast or be charged extra fee, constantly questioned by security if staying at the hotel, when checking out all room charges broken down into taxes and fees but sum does not equal total amount actually charged. STAY AWAY!!!!

The hotel is more than 5 mins. Walk to the beach. There is a construction in front of our balcony and there is a loud noise on the air condition. Wifi is not working the whole time we r there and the service was slow ....

Hotel has no Hot water in the Bath tub and the room is small for been a one bedroom suite, over all the Hotel is good its very clean and has outstanding security everywhere. Feels very safe. Hotel location is not a great one since its located in station 3 of the island and thats where all the small boats go in and out.

The resort was peaceful and very clean, even over the Christmas period when we stayed. It's a stones throw from the beach and main footpath which has all the local bars and restaurants. It is also only a 15 minute drive from the harbour where you land on the Island. Friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere.

Nice hotel, I got à fantastic room but I had to ask especially for a room not on ground floor. Well situated, breakfast is OK but not fantastic (unless you are fr.o.m. Korea) Black coffee at breakfast is not only awful but allo cost extra (unless you want it with milk) But overall a much better than average hotel - and I am picky...

We chose the Paradise Garden for it's location- right in the middle of White Beach, the centre of the action, but set back far enough to avoid the noise with nice, sparse grounds and a great pool. The service is OK, the rooms quite basic (think one set of lighting, few extras). As for previous reviewer talking about being 'offered' various unsavoury […] things, we didn't get offered anything (at all on the island) so this is clearly incorrect currently (2011). Good hotel for a short stay. If you are with a partner, and you want a quality hotel with great service, views etc then go well away from main beach to elsewhere on the island. Downside is you will have to get a 15min taxi to shops, restaurants, shopping etc. This hotel is ok for a short stay where you are going to be out on the water mostly, not hanging about the hotel. The hotel is good but a few points to improve 1. internet is extremely slow and a lot of interroptions, 2. food is not as good as the hotel itself 3.funny to see their translation from English to Chinese in the bathroom. I was at the hotel for 4 nights. I had a one bed roon suite, it really need to be up dated, the Kitchen looks as if it was from a 1950s TV show. But none of that matters becouse you are not allowed to bring any thing to your room to cook, "so what good is the kitchen?" The staff was very nice and did every thing they could for you. Stayed 3 nights and absolutely loved it. Perfect service from charming young staff. Very good food offered with 3 buffet meals per day (lunch & dinner at the beach; no charge for breakfast). Needs to improve their customer service a lot! Specially upon arrival, to make customer feel comfortable and welcome. They just gave me a glass of juice without any say. Staff needs to be more warm and helpful. I have to ask all the time what activities are available. Staff must be more informative to their customer!. I did not find this at all. Breakfast buffet was free but food that needs to be warm was cold,although the breakfast area was at the garden area and was comfortable. A good 3 minute walk to the ocean front was very nice and relaxing for me, even though I prefered to be closer to the ocean. I liked that. Few places exceed my expectations enough to get me to write something but this place really ticked the boxes. THe facilities, decor of rooms and public areas, gardens and pool were first class. The breakfast catered for all tastes and the people very friendly. This is a place I will go again and again.

Wir waren sehr unzufrieden. Dass Zimmer war nicht so wie ich es gebucht hatte. Nach Rücksprache mit Hotel.com war eine Dame nicht sehr kompetent für die Problemlösung. Werde nie wieder bei Euch buchen und an niemanden weiterempfehlen.

Direkt am White Beach gelegen, grosse, wunderschoen gestaltete Parkanlage mit vielen Appartements mit verschiedener Groesse und Ausstattung, sowie Zimmer im Hauptkomplex, ebenfalls in individuell bevorzugter Groesse und Ausstattung! Es gibt grosszuegige Buffets, je nach Vorabbuchung zuzahlungspflichtig. Weiterhin bietet das Hotel zwei wunderschoene […] swimming-pools, welche jeweils durch kleine, dekorative Gestaltungen (z.b. Besprenkelung mit feinsten Wasserstrahlen von der Pool-Laengsseite aufs Poolbecken) Exklusivitaet bieten! Im gesamten sehr zu empfehlen! Haupteingang der Anlage liegt an der Hauptversorgungsstrasse der Insel, jedoch durch eigene abzweigende Anlageneinfahrt etwa 50 Meter von dieser Strasse, optisch komplett getrennt. Hier ist dann auch nur die Rezeption. Generell ist die Anlage ruhig gelegen, die erwaehnte Strasse ist nicht zu sehen, bzw. nicht zu hoeren! Der hintere Anlagenausgang ist durch den grossen Anlagenpark zu erreichen und wird durch zwei seitlich stehende Strand-Coctail-Bars (Hoteleigen und exklusiv) gestaltet. Læs mere

Séjour en mars 2012. Très bon sur la propreté. Très bien placé contrairement à la plupart des autres ressorts bien moins tranquilles parce que trop près de l'agitation de la white beach. Néanmoins l'île étant centrée sur le tourisme de masse asiatique l'offre est très orienté vers cette clientèle. Du coup ne comptez pas sur un petit déjeuner continental. […] Le buffet est asiatique. Dommage qu'en guise de jus de fruit l'hôtel propose des sodas industriels bas de gamme. Connexion wifi pourrie (mais bon des pluies abondantes suffisent à perturber les connexions cartes bancaires de certains commerçants pourtant bien équipés), depuis le lobby seulement (pas dans les chambres). Service serviette piscine ou plage : une seule serviette par parsonne par jour. Mais dans l'ensemble très bon rapport qualité-prix. Læs mere

Super schöne Anlage, beim Frühstücksbuffett gab es sehr viele asiatische Spezialitäten wie Suppe, Reis, Nudeln, Chicken, usw. aber ganz wichtig!!!! eine Eierstation an der man sich Omlett mit Tomate-Käse-Zwiebel Füllung holen konnte, oder Spiegeleier. Dann gab es jeden Tag verschiedene Brotsorten und Pancakes!!! :-) Einmal waren diese leer, wir haben […] nach Pancakes gefragt, dann kam 5 minuten später ein ganzer Teller voller Pancakes zu uns an den Tisch und die darauffolgenden Tage auch... das nenn ich Service :-) Am Strand haben wir uns auch sehr wohl gefühlt, es standen Securitys rum, die dafür sorgen dass keine fliegenden Händler uns belästigt haben. Echt klasse!!!! Das Hotel liegt zwischen Station 2 und 3 und ist daher schon ein bisschen am ruhigeren Abschnitt, im Meer/Strand war bei uns auf jedenfall der schönste Abschnitt!!! :-) hehe Zum Essengehen wenn man es ruhiger mag, können wir das Coco Loco empfehlen am Abschnitt 3, wenn man vom Hotel, zum Strand vorläuft dann nach links ein Stück laufen(rote Schrift Coco Loco) Da hat es uns am besten gafallen, das Restaurant genau am Strand und ruhige Atmosphäre. Preise ca.5 Euro pro Gericht und super lecker, wir waren dort 4mal essen und es war immer saugut, unbedingt Springrolls bestellen waren super gut! Wir waren sehr mit unserer Wahl zufrieden, jederzeit weiterzuempfehlen. Læs mere

The hotel is changing its name from NewMgM to Paradise Gardes and some parts of it are under construction that creates some noise right around the pool area.
