My friend and I travelled up to Kuala Lumpur from Australia for the Malaysian Grand Prix, and after originally booking into a hotel in Seremben, we decided to stay in KL instead thanks to the advice of several people. We found the Hotel Sentral on Hotels.com and it looked like the best value for money and great location. Finding it the first time was […] a bit of a hassle, as some of the staff at the Sentral station gave us some weird directions, so maybe do what we did and take a taxi there the first time if you get lost. After that though it is a breeze to find your way from the hotel to the KL Sentral station, it's about a 5 minute walk around the corner and through a tunnel which is safe due to the amount of people. The monorail station is directly over the road from the hotel as well. The hotel is a lot more modern than we were expecting, although as we went for the 'budget' alternative we were slightly seperated from the 'modern' looking lobby. The room was small and very basic, but given we paid less for 6 nights in KL than we did for 4 nights in Melbourne and got more, it has to be said it was good. The bathroom was seperate from the main room and a large size, and the shower was massive. The beds were fairly comfortable and the TV was great to watch some Malaysian TV. The two best things about the room were the internet and the breakfast. Get breakfast included in your room because you go upstairs to a room and basically can eat all you can, and there are so many option each day you won't want to leave! Despite the fact food is so cheap in Malaysia, it's all well cooked and everything from western to eastern options! The internet too was absolutely amazing! So fast and never dropped out, it was a breeze to Skype and stay in touch with friends and family back home. Also, the restaurant in the hotel downstairs was extremely cheap, and delicious! This hotel is nice to stay in and is a heart of KL

We spent one week in this hotel during our visit to Malaysia and we had really good time. The hotel was very good value, with perfect location close to the main transportation hub. Monorail station right outside the door which was very handy for exploring KL. Breakfast was OK, however, mainly Asian food with only few western option. Staff was very friendly […] and helpful. In the past, i stayed at a 2-star hotel and this is my first time to stay at this '3-star' hotel. I paid more for this hotel, but what i get is a windowless room and a slow wireless internet connection. Generally the hotel is clean (only after i requested for a change of room) and OK. Worst Hotel I would say.... This hotel is purely run on the basis of advertisements by various hotel booking sites...There is no reason other than location (in front of monorail) anybody should visit this hotel... The room size is like a pigeon cage.. it ends just after entering the room... You can not find anything in the room other than a bed..... Lift […] was smelling like anything. Hotel staff doesn't listen you. Even after asking so many times, they didn't clean it. Staff is really worse. They don't even give you basic information about the city/places. Service and facilities were fine. Although most of the hotel staff are friendly, I think the front desk staff needs a lesson in hospitality. They do not smile and greet customers, and when asked, they do not answer politely. Food should be more varied, and should cater to people of different cultures. Got an early check in and the staff were more than happy to help out whenever they could. Breakfast was a bit on the wrong side and a lack of enough english speaking staff was a bit of a headache. Yes the lift is slow, the rooms are a little worn, and the mosque right next door that announces through the speakers at 7am, 1pm and 8pm is an inconvenience. […] But the hotel is clean, comfortable and well affordable. Nice location reasonable price in good condition. Suitable for the travlers who plan to arrive late or had to leave early to the airport. Just dont belive the map in hotels.com. Check for the official website of the hotel. I printed out the map but it s on the totally siffrent location.

Good location for Monorail and other rail connections. Reasonable breakfast. A bit noisy at night and not enough lifts - sometimes had to wait 10 minutes to get to the 14th floor!

Its close to KL Central which is perfect for monorail. trains and the KL commuter but its not in the tourist centre. To visit the sites one will have to use one of the above modes of transport. Everything is minutes away though. I loved the surrounding area as I felt I was where the locals live. Its definitely not a pretty area. The restaurants are […] street cafes, there's no malls or clothes shops. The food in the cafes are well worth trying, don't be put off by the look. As for the hotel - staff are nice, the rooms were cleaned each day (empty fridge in room) and are basic. Perfect for what a room is for, sleeping, showing, spending sometime in etc. TV channels worked. My one complaint - I asked for a non smoking room but was given a smoking room on a smoking floor. Luckily the previous occupants of my room hadn't been smoking and there was no smoking smell. Windows open slightly in room if needed. Læs mere

very close to sentral station, nice staff.

This is a budget hotel right in the center of Kuala Lumpur's little India area. If you want a location for a quick overnight (especially if you are catching a train or bus from the KL sentral station), then this location is ideal for the price you will pay. Checkin was fast and efficient because we were the only ones checking in at the time. The room […] itself was clean but starting to show some signs of aging, especially in the bathroom. The mattress was a little hard and they do not seem to use fitted sheets so that you may be left entangled in the middle of the night. Checkout the next morning was a little slow with a single clerk handling four or five people trying to check out at the same time but it was still not too long until they got to us. While we did not have dinner in the surroundings, we did have breakfast right outside the hotel. There were many options available to us, mostly indian but also some others. The trip to KL sentral took a mere 2 minutes by car and should be around a five minute walk from the hotel. Læs mere

The hotel was easy to locate from the sentral train station. The hotel environment was nice and the staffs were always ready to help and offer assistance in planning tour around the city. The train station close to the hotel made travelling around easy and less stressful. I might reccommend this hotel to others. According to its location, staff and overall, this hotel is just fine for everything with a budget price. Surrounding with a common area for common people living. This mean the price of everything such as groceries or food&beverage is just in normal price, not a sky rocket. Hotel service is ok. Rooms not ready even though we arrived at 4pm. Cleanliness is reasonable. Location is good as it is very close to the train station. For those driving, free parking is available. We took the train to Bt Bintang only 4 stops away & costs RM1.60 per person one way. Better than driving in the traffic jam. Checkout was efficient.

At a great location in little India KL,very close and easy to find from KL sentral station if arriving by bus or train from either of the airports,just a two minute walk.Rooms come with all mod cons as expected. Only slight gripe is there is a lot of building work going on in the vicinity,HEY but thats life.

I'm very satisfied with our stay at the hotel. I'm impressed that for a cheap amount, I was able to stay in a very nice place. The room I got is clean and has a cozy feeling (got a high ceiling). The hotel is great... My only concern is the location. It was surrounded by drinking pubs and at night a lot of drunk people are roaming. Quite scary. My booking at hotel Sentral in KL sentral was changed without any intimation to another hotel. it,s a newly built hotel. I booked a superior room for couple and it turned out to be a Pigeon hole size room where two people cannot stand together, a writing table, dressing table, fridge compartment, safe, and cupboard is all in one measuring only about […] 5 x5 sq feet, room is approx 7x7 sq. feet. Convenient location, helpful and friendly staff, worth the money spent in the hotel, we highly recommend it to the others

I'll put Hotel Sentral on my list of "great" triple star hotels in KL. It was INDEED a nice and comfy place to stay after a long walk around KL. My husband and I feasted on a lip-smacking array of menu each morning. Each hotel personnel has offered his/her humble service with a smile. Undeniably worth the stay! :-)

If you are considering to stay near Monorail station in KL, this is one of good location hotel. But think of Central station, here is not the best. Here is 10 minutes walk from Central Kl station.

Very strategically and conveniently placed, the Hotel Sentral KL has a very courteous and cooperative staff, Though we used it more as a stop over for 1 day, we could pack a lot of visiting around thanks to its closeness to the Monorail, Railway line and bus station. The surrounding of the Hotel full of contruction work, very dustly and noisy.

We stayed at hotel sentral for one day expecting better stay overnight. we check in late at around 10 pm and found the bed sheet and pillow cover has bad smell, and we had to call room service to change it. it took 20-30 minutes as they brought torn bedsheets and they need to search for the good one. The room is OK, but we cannot adjust the Aircon because […] it was centralized AC (i think so), it was very hot during night time and we couldn't sleep well. About breakfast, there were nothing but some plain breads and some malay chinese dishes and the fruits were not fresh. I like this hotel because it is right for my budget. It is clean and AC is good . The staff is good, especially it made me feel safe and conformtable to stay in when I travel by myself. If I come back KUL i will stay there again.

Room is generally clean and comes with wireless provision, hotel location is good, staff are generally helpful to answer questions. Except one point -during our 2-day stays there, the plates, folks and spoons that we used in the hotel resturant that provides buffet breakfast were not cleaned thoroughly , this needs to be improved.

this hotel was everything I expected and needed. Everything was clean, neat and comfortable. Free wifi was good, breakfast was OK. The area looks a little dodgy at first but was fine, great cheap eats just accross the road. Sentral station and monorail made life easy to get around KL. Would recommend to those on a budget.

Good hotel for the price. In a neighborhood that some might consider "shady". However, there is lots of good street restaurants due to that. One thing to note is that it is not located right beside the KLIA Express train station/hub. It is close to only the Monoline rail not the other train. The other trains are ~8min walk away.

If you are only passing through KL this hotel is convenient. 5-10 minute walk from KL Sentral bus/rail interchange. Just ask anyone the way to the monorail station, The hotel is opposite it - just follow the line of the monorail track. Easy to get into central KL using the monorail. Easy to get to and from the airport LCCT/main terminal

When we arrived the staff were very attentive, they held our bags until our rooms were ready as we arrived about an hour before check-in time. Although the rooms were smaller than we expected they were extremely clean and contained all of the amenities required. We stayed 2 nights and when leaving the Hotel/Staff allowed us to dispose of 2 suitcases […] that we replaced with new ones that we bought in KL which was fantastic and unexpected, the also held all of our Luggage for 9 hours as our flight was not until after midnight that day, we could not have asked for more! Thanks Hotel Sentral P.S. This hotel is in a prime location to the monorail just outside the front door and the Main Bus Terminal back to the airport is literally only a couple of mins walk! I was more than pleased to stay at Hotel Sentral. The Reception staff are exceptional. Whether I was checking in at 2pm or at 1am, they were fast, professional, and always with a sincere smile on their faces. Recently, I had a canceled flight and had to stay in KL an extra 2 nights. ＫＬ内のホテル４つ☆級も含め、１３ホテル宿泊。過去９年間で。 ホテルヘリテージセントラルのリニューアル再開を強く希望していますが、それまでの定宿は、ここ。 スタッフがいい。一人旅用のシングル快適安い。近所のローカルの人々のよさ。都会ぎらいの私でもＫＬ長期滞在可能。ＳＳ２のパサマラムへもバスすぐそば、一直線。

Hotellet ligger mitt i Little India vilket var en spännande omgivning. Centralstationen och monorail station ligger inom gångavstånd vilket är smidigt. Vi hade bokat ett såkallat Xpress rum men när vi skulle checka in blev vi uppgraderade till ett vanligt dubbelrum vilket var positivt. Det fanns tv på rummet med många kanaler att välja emellan och kylskåp. […] De nackdelar som finns att säga om hotellet är att det är högljutt på nätterna på grund av ljud från gatan och att det endast fanns två hissar på hela hotellet vilket gjorde att man ibland fick vänta flertal minuter på en ledig hiss. Vi hade även problem med säkerhetsboxen som inte fungerade. I övrigt var hotellet helt okej och rekommenderas till den som inte är allt för kräsen gällande standard och vill bo nära dem centrala delarna av staden. Læs mere

Sentral beliggenhet i Kuala Lumpur. Kort vei til monorail og tog inn til alle severdigheter. Hotellet har god enkel standard. Lave priser, og pluss for gratis wifi og frokost.

前回、最低料金窓なしの部屋で滞在したものの、居心地が悪く、今回は少しプランを上げて、スーペリアの部屋に宿泊した。今回もホテル選定の第一条件は交通の利便。翌日早朝の飛行機で再び移動しなければならないため、KLセントラルのアクセスが良い当ホテルを選択。 部屋はきれいに管理してあり、一人宿泊には十分な広さがあり非常に快適であった。 　ひとつだけ文句をつけるなら、冷蔵庫が故障しているのか、飲み物が全く冷えなかった。 　しかし、次回もここに泊まりたいと思うほど満足であった。

酒店处在印度人聚集区，周边环境有点乱，不过酒店装修及房间设施都还不错，干净整洁。不过house keeping的人居然拉开过我放在房间包的拉链，后来还没有关好！虽然没有财物损失，房间也不错，但是想着就不爽，还是写出来告诉大家，希望大家不要将财物放在房间，除开这一点酒店居住环境还是很不错的。
