Vi boede 2 personer 2 nætter på hotellet, og kan varmt anbefale det til andre. Den pris vi betalte var særdeles rimelig (havde booket ca. 1 mdr. i forvejen - 2 nætter inkl. morgenmad kostede godt kr. 1.100,-), og hotelles standard og personalets service var på alle måder glimrende. Hotellet er placeret meget centralt i centrum af Liverpool (i øvrigt […] en høj bygning som let kan spottes), og det tager kun ca. 10 min at gå til Liverpool Lime Street Station, mens busterminalen ligger blot 150 meter fra hotellet. Der findes masser af pubber, barer, restauranter i umiddelbar nærhed, og et hav af shoppingmuligheder er kun et lille stenkast væk. Vi var på fodboldtur, men kunne bestemt godt finde på at benytte hotellet også til familieferie el. lign. Vi benyttede og så ej hotellets swimmingpool under vores ophold. Et lille ekstra plus var i øvrigt, at hotellets bar som vi benyttede natten efter en fodboldkamp holdt åben så længe vi havde lyst - vi var ellers kun nogle enkelte personer. Til en lignende pris ville vi ikke tøve et øjeblik med at benytte hotellet igen. Kan varmt anbefales. Læs mere

Novotel ligger i er ny-bygget kvarter midt i Liverpools centrum. Man kan let gå til shopping, Albert docks, Cavern quarter og alt andet i byen .... og så koster en taxa til Anfield ca. 6 £ . Hotellet åbnede i November 2009 og er helt nyt. Værelserne er fine og det samme er poolen og fitness rummet. Kan klart anbefales !

We were two adults and two children and the room was very comfortable. Excellent matress and pillows and very quiet. The breakfast was normal Novotel which is good. There were no local staff on the desk or in the restaurant which is a shame. The Marriot seems to employ more mature local staff who are able to answer questions about Liverpool which is […] more pleasant and helpful for the tourist. The pool was very small and the changing rooms/locker system was not very well thought out. I would stay here again and recommend it to others. Læs mere

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly. The location was superb!!! A few minutes away from the major tourist attractions and lovely restaurants! My husband and I have used Novotel Hotels in other countries too and their standards are consistent and never fails! Will definitely use this hotel again!

The location is close to L1 and other shopping centres. Albert dock is a 5 minute walk away and if you want an exciting nightlife then thats 5 minutes away too. So the location is perfect, the rooms are comfortable and clean plus attentive staff makes it ideal for a great city break. I was delighted to arrive at this hotel as the location was perfect; right in the city centre, mins from Lime St train station, across the road from Liverpool 1, a Tesco next door. But the stay itself was not good. Whenever we went to the reception desk, there was never anyone on it, we would have to wait til someone came out from the back. Our room […] was not spotless, there were stains on the carpet. In my opinion these should be cleaned when they happen or the room not given to guests until they are. There were v few teas/milks in the room & when i asked for some they took ages to arrive. not everything in the room worked. Overall, too many little things made this a disappointing choice of hotel. God but staff need more training night staff seemed leaderless

Overall, we were pretty satisfied at the hotel, just one thing a bit disappointing was nobody at the reception upon our arrival and the checkin machine wasn't working properly at the moment, then we had to wait a receptionist coming out for a while.

Good Location, very nice hotel right in the centre of town, comfortable room. We had a good stay, used the pool and sauna which was very nice and very clean, service also good at the bar downstairs.

The Novotel was an excellent location and had great places to eat all around. All the shops and bars were 3 mins walk away. The hotel was very clean and and we'll maintained apart from the swimming pool area and changing rooms could have been cleaner also we tried to ring reception several times for information and the telephone was never answered so […] we had to trek downstairs to ask a simple question! The room was very hot and air con not too good so has to sleep with all windows open hence very noisy through the night. Overall it's was an ok stay for a night. Læs mere

Great hotel very central, only problem is the noise in the morning due to traffic but i would def stay again

Fantastic location right in the centre of town. Stayed here with my husband and two kids and would definitely stay again.

Staff were friendly, hotel was clean and well presented, the room was upto date and very modern, the bed was really comfortable, overall it was a pleasure to stay there and was well worth the money.

Great hotel surrounded by fabulous places to eat breakfast, lunch and evening meal! Really clean, noise free, two minutes from a good cheap overnight car park. As native Liverpudlians who have been away from the city for a long time we couldn't havebeen more delighted with the hotel, the city and Liverpool generally.

Stsyed for one night hotel was great couldn't fault it one bit, great location for Liverpool one and the docks. Room was spotless Swimming pool and gym lovely Restaurant food beautiful

excellent location. right beside mersey 1 and bus and train stations. the pool was out of order which was a bit disappointing. would stay here again. good value for money

Very modern hotel (so modern it takes half an hour to fathom all the light switches) convenient for major railway stations and wlaking distance form main attractions. Only gripe: no toilet paper or tissues!

Big clean room with good bathroom facilities. Steam room and pool. Very nice for the price!

only stayed for one night but was really pleased with the room. If I had to give any negative feedback it would be there was no bath mat in the bathroom (which we found out later you can get from reception, which is a bit strange) so when we had a shower the water went all over the floor. Small thing I know but everything else was spot on!

Have to admit we were soo happy with this hotel from the price to the rapid check in to the even quicker checkout. The cleanliness was the best Ive seen and staff were second to none. Well done Novotel Liverpool. I will be recommending you and definately staying here again next visit to Liverpool. Regards, Denise

Very nice hotel unfortunately, had backroom with no outlook over the city just a run down office block, seemed to be quiet a loud ventilation noise from surrounding buildings going all nigh when window opent. Nice room with seperate toilet & en suite. Toilet was like going into a metal box as door, frame & ceiling metal so when you shut door quiet noisy […] + loo had squeak when you sat on it. Good general cleanliness & staff that couldnt do enough for you. Very nice pool unfortunately steam room not working. Læs mere

Hotel well located for Albert Dock, the shopping areas and has some good restaurants just down the road too. Service on reception variable (some staff little indifferent whilst others very helpful) When we arrived at 10am they did check us in to a room which was a bonus. Car parking is quite literally across the road and cost us £19 with hotel discount […] for approx 32 hours. Breakfast in hotel excellent, everything you could possibly want. We were very pleased with the central location and the very friendly and helpful staff. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and hope to stay with you again sometime soon.

We stayed here for a weekend and really enjoyed Liverpool but were disappointed with the service in the hotel. On check in I was never asked for a swipe of credit card so i presumed hotel had it on file as room was prepaid. Subsequently we were harrased for cash throughout our stay for any purchases by inexperienced staff. We ordered room service and […] were told " I was told to get cash" by one staff member. At breakfast we were asked three times during a half an hour on how we were going to settle our bill. Receptionist should have contacted us if she needed a credit card swipe. On top of this my sister organised a surprise bottle ofchampagne for us on arrival which we eventaully got a day late after she rang the hotel to sort it out. She was told we were room moved which was lies. This hotel needs to train its existing team to a higher standard and needs to increase staf numbers. Læs mere

We stayed in the Novotel in Liverpool for a weekend of Christmas Shopping 10th/11th Nov 2011. From the reception we received when we checked until we left the staff were extremely friendly. Even though we arrived a few hours before usual check in time they were able to accommodate us and we were shown to our room. Only 5 mins walk away from Liverpool […] 1 shopping centre, and 5 mins from Albert Docks where we have a great evening. Very nice hotel close to all the sights. This was my second stay at the hotel and I asked if I could have a room at the fron of the hotel. I was advised that all rooms were taken and the room I was given had almost the same view as previously given - awful overlooking...the multi storey car park. Room itself was fine although carpet looked very tired […] with a nasty stain near the desk area. I hope if I stay there again that I might have a decent room with a view - third time lucky? The location of this hotel can't be faulted, and the rooms are of a nice standard, and well kept. Once you can find a member of staff, they are very helpful but finding them is the problem. I called down to have something brought to my room that never materialised, and twice had to wander around the lobby trying to find someone as the front desk was […] empty. Available staff and reasonably priced wifi are fairly standard, even at hotels cheaper than this, so I was quite disappointed as I'd gone for a nicer hotel as a treat. Læs mere

We have stayed at this hotel several times - which perhaps speaks for itself? We are always very satisfied with the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. The location is ideal for us and nearby parking is convenient. Previously we have had cause for complaint. We were charged twice for our room, overcharged on the room and the […] 'Do Not Disturb' sign was not respected. Less seriously we often found the bar and/or reception unmanned. Stayed at ths hotel for 3 nights 2 adults 2 kids at the beginning of november. Hotel was nice but it had one major down fall in that it does not have air conditioning it has air cooling.The room we stayed in got very hot through the night and it transpired that the Air cooling was not working in our room we managed to move rooms the next day but we […] were told that a lot of the rooms in the hotel had the same problem with the air cooling. Great hotel. Usual high novotel high standards. Quiet rooms but close to all shops and amenities. We'll be back!

Located right in the city centre, couldn't be any closer to shops and restaurants. Train and Bus stations just a few minutes walk. We have stayed here on a couple of occassions and taken advantage of the offers available. Buffet breakfast is great (when included in room rate, expensive if not). It can get congested if you leave it late to breakfast, […] so try and arrive before 8.30am if you want to avoid it. Staff were pleasant and the Manager, Mr Abel, is improving and fine tuning things. We enjoyed a fantastic weekend in Liverpool, staying at the Novotel. It was a perfect location for all of the main sights and a very comfortable, good quality hotel. The staff were very helpful and efficient and I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

I stayed there because it was close to where I wanted to be. When I got there, I found it close to most other places - be it culture, business, waterfront, buses and trains - all within easy walking distance and mostly within 200 yds. I have a mobility problem and the staff welcomed me and took some time to ensure that the room had a walk in shower. […] The staff were all friendly in a Liverpool way and not a stand off hotel way. The food was good, plentyful; and the bar stayed open late (3 am and later), There were gaming consoles and internet links - and there was a swimming complex all available most of the time. My only grouse was that there was a plug for my MP3 player which invited me to play my music through the room sound system, but I could not get this to work and it seemed that because I had not paid the £10 daily movie charge, I could not use it.
