"MInor issues didn't effect a great trip"
Was in town for a bachelorette party and had a great time. Negatives included room not being ready for an hour after designated check-in time, and garbage under the bed. The decor is modern to the point of being sterile. The room and hallways are in a grey-blue color and not very inviting, While the beds were comfortable, the other furniture was not. Additionally this is not a place for young children. "W Hotel Boston - excellent"
Excellent rooms and service. The hotel is conveniently placed in the centre of Boston. Only drawback and annoying is the extremely high sound level of the "background" music in foyer and restaurant - you can hardly hear the person at the reception or the waiter/waitress in the restaurant. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Room spacious, with good amenities. Yes, as others have mentioned, can be a tad dark in the hallway. "Very classy"
This hotel was wonderful. It is located in the theater district so it is close to many things to do. It is very upscale and classy, and everything looked clean and tidy. The hotel was also very secure with a guard outside the front door at night, and key card operated elevators. The view from my room was awesome, and the bar made really tasty drinks. "Midnight express right through the room"
I was staying in 1209. You hear the elevator 24/7, a wind noise that builds up, first I thought it was a strong gusty wind outside. If a hotel knows that some rooms are super noisy, don't rent them until problem is fixed!!Ægte Hotels.com-gæsteanmeldelse

"Very good experience at the W"
The hotel was great. Location was very good! It was very close to a couple of subway stations. Next to some of the most popular bars and resturants in Boston. The lobby bar is pretty cool. Canadian travelers carry your passport with you at all time if you want alcohol. This is a very conservative state it seems... We were a bit surprised by this. For the rest hotel is vey nice. "Somewhat of a let down"
When we arrived we walked in the front entrance and couldnt immediately figure out if we were in the lobby or not. We noticed three small podiums in a small space tucked behind the Hotel lounge. There was a couple waiting there but no hotel staff in sight, which added to the confusion of whether or not we were actually in the lobby. After a few minutes […] the concierge appeared and we checked into our room. I think we expected more of an aesthetic design and space for the lobby since the hotel is pushing such an artistic motif and the Lobby really sets the tone for the whole experience. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable and the idoc staiton was a nice touch. "Great for college-age"
Very hip decor - lobby/lounge packed with college-age from mid-afternoon until close. 15 minutes wait to check in. Overall room was dark and outlets/mirrors were not close to one another.Ægte Expedia-gæsteanmeldelse

I generally like the ambiance and buzz of W hotels, and this one didn't disappoint. Great atmosphere in the bar on the ground floor, and the breakfast and brunch in Market were also very good. My only negative about the hotel is the additional charge for in-room wifi.Ægte Hotels.com-gæsteanmeldelse

The hotel location was very important - the theatre shows we wanted to see were right around the corner. One critique: a charge was made regarding the mini-bar which was incorrect. We have been confronted with such things at other hotels as well. Perhaps a better way of tracking mini-bar stocking? "Excellent but some other W hotels are better"
I've stayed at the W in A few other worldwide destinations and the same general quality standard was evident. Staff were polite and generally very helpful. A few minor issues to point out: - this hotel is not as well sound proofed as it could be - rooms on the Stuart street side especially on the lower floors can be a bit noisy at night from traffic […] at the intersection. - there is a default no hot beverage option in the rooms - you can claim a free coffee in the foyer or request a coffee machine in the room. The noise of the street can be load at times and we try our best to move the folks along, especially in the night time hours. As for the coffee, we do have complimentary at our Welcome desk and coffee makers for those who what to me more reclusive. It is a standard in all W Hotel to not have coffee makers in guest rooms, we like the social aspect of people mingling in our space, at all times of day. looking forward to you staying with us again. Nice hotel overall. Very loud and busy in the lobby due to blaring disco music. Was disappointed that restaurant was not serving ANYTHING between the hours of 11am and 11:45am on a Sunday morning. Really?! Also need better lighting in the bathroom!Ægte Hotels.com-gæsteanmeldelse

"Bad lighting"
The lighting in the rooms - especially the bathroom - is so bad. Impossible to put on makeup. They did have a poorly lit makeup mirror available, which was actually no help. The room service for breakfast was prompt, and overall good, but they put meat on a vegetarians plate, which would have ruined the entire meal if the vegetarian was more strict […] about being a vegetarian. "Style and location"
The hotel was stylish, clean and comfortable. Parking was expensive so parked elsewhere, also $15 per day for wifi is too much. The food in the restaurant was nice and the gym was nice, modern and deserted. Location is excellent (especially for theatres).Ægte Expedia-gæsteanmeldelse

"Great location."
Location and staff at the W was fantastic however it was a bit noisy such as early morning door slamming between 6-9am and odd noises like water overflowing (no bathtub in room) and carpet scrubbing around 2-3am.Ægte Hotels.com-gæsteanmeldelse

"Overrated"
Hotel did not have spa service as advertised - they were remodeling. That was not told when booking room. At night it's loud - lots of traffic coming and going due to all the nightclubs around. Convenience is ok but usually have to take a cab. It's overrated for the money.Ægte Hotels.com-gæsteanmeldelse
