Residence Inn by Marriott Portland Downtown Waterfront er i det historiske kvarter, ligger i Portland og er tæt på Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Portland Observatory og Wadsworth-Longfellow House. I nærheden er også Børnenes Museum i Maine og Portland Museum of Art.

wished i booked a water view room. whats the sense in buying a room in a water front hotel and end up with a view of cement walls. i asked and was not able to upgrade to a water view room. :(
Very pleasent
"The Residence Inn was incrediable"
The Residence Inn by Marriott had a full kitchen in the suite. The hotel had full breakfast every morning and special meals through the week that the hotel guest could take advantage of instead of eating out every night. I would give this hotel two thumbs up.
"Water View-Old Port"
The hotel was very clean and the staff were also nice. Pool and hot tub GREAT! Breakfast in the morning is one of the best we have had when staying in a hotel. The only drawback was our room. We were 2 adults and 2 children in the "Water view" room was WAY TOO small for the 4. There was a pull out couch to have as the 2nd bed and it was VERY uncomfortable. […] Too much in one space. View from room were beautiful. The bathroom also only had 2 large towels and there were 4 of us so we had to find some on the cleaning ladies cart. great hotel. a bit pricey but the breakfast is worth it. it was fabulous. especially if you have kids. the pool was great and it was directly across from the water and in the heart of the old port!
"Perfect stay"
My wife and I shipped the kids off to the grandparents so we could sneak away for a night out in Portland and couldn't have been happier with this hotel. It was perfectly located with plenty of restaurants, shops and bars within walking distance. We were pleasantly surprised to find out from the bartender at the hotel that the hotel's shuttle will bring […] you and pick you up from just about anywhere in town (until 10:30PM). The room was better than expected with a full kitchenette that included glasses and cutlery etc. The bed was very comfy and the room was VERY clean. It seemed as though the hotel was pretty well booked, however it was perfectly quiet throughout our stay. Any and all of the staff that we encountered were extremely friendly as well. "Great stay!"
We enjoyed our stay very much! The rooms were gorgeous and within walking distance of everything we we wanted to do. It was a great little vacation and the staff was very friendly!

Stayed for 2 days in January. Location is great and walking distance to downtown. Had a waterview room which was very awesome. Hotel staff were very kind and the stay was overall very pleasant. Looking forward to coming back in the spring/summer.

My family and I had a very pleasant overnight stay at the Marriott Waterfront Inn. The front desk promptly checked us in and they were very helpful by answering a few questions to my satisifaction. We enjoyed the pool and breakfast too. We will stay here again.

This hotel was nice and convenient to restaurants , water, and shops. It was a big room with sitting area with new modern kitchen. Our room overlooked the water where cruise ships came in. The only complaint was the vanity off the bedroom did not have a door so if someone got up early and turned on that light, it flooded the bedroom with light. We […] made reservations by phone to eat at Street & Co. It was wonderful get the Sole Francise (spelling?) Comes out piping hot in a skillet with red potatoes and green beans. The restaurant is within a short walk on a short street that is not well lit and looks residential called Wharf Street. It is the seafood stop and on Fore Street is the steak sister restaurant, Fore Street. Three filets of sole so we wish we had shared for we left stuffed. A little pricey but worth it. Læs mere

This was our first trip to Maine and we couldn't have asked for a nicer stay. Our room was beautiful inside and had a panoramic view of Casco Bay. We only wished that we had stayed longer!

"surpassed expectations"
Our experience was great: friendly, helpful staff in a well-designed and maintained hotel. Location is A++ Quiet but really close to the harbour shops, restaurants and nightlife. Would highly recommend the Suite!
"Nice hotel, water view kinda"
Nice hotel, helpful staff. Its location is in a quasi industrial area. The "water view" we paid extra for was there on the other side of the warehouse. Pricey for the "view".

We stayed here for 3 nights and found the proximity to the main parts of the city to be very close but far enough away for quiet. Literally less than 5 minute walk to downtown. Service was great and is located next to the Shipyard brewery, a couple of nice bakeries, and an italian market where the smell of fresh bread will drive you insane. "Wonderful hotel!"
We had a studio room which was decorated very tastefully. It had a kitchen, sitting area and a nice king size bed and very nice bathroom. More than we expected. It was very close to downtown so we could walk to the shops and look around. It was also very close to the mall and restaurants.
"Nice Rooms"
Lovely room, clean, nice kitchen, perfect for a few nights stay. Our only issue was the blanket for the studio coach looked used so we asked for another blanket and they never delivered it.
This hotel had a great location to downtown and is really close to a cute Italian market. When we got to the hotel the people were very friendly and we were very pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was. The hot tub was great and even the pool was pretty warm. The room (suite) was great! Super clean and comfortable. The hotel would have been perfect had there been room service and a shower cap (somehow they ran out?).

the water front room that we paid extra for was behind a building and you could not see the water. The only option that was presented was to move to another room.
One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in...customer service was great....wonderful amenities....delicious breakfast....comfortable roomy well appointed rooms....overall excellent!
"Good place to stay"
Nice location, clean, new, quiet and very comfortable. Very nice breakfast, very polite staff. This is a good place for families to go and get away for a weekend. It isn't a quaint inn or hotel, but it provided a spacious refreshing respite.

Studio Room was quite compact, but had nice features, including both a desk and a table, and a pull-out sofa. Overall, hotel is in quite spiffy and up-to-date shape. Parking in hotel's garage next door is convenient and price is reasonable. Location is great. Had a kitchen corner, which we didn't use as only stayed briefly and rate included hotel's […] breakfast buffet, which was convenient and nicer than most. We enjoyed the hotel so much that we made arrangements to stay another night. Lovely room with view of the harbor. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do, never used the car. Nice exercise room, and really liked the mini kitchen. Small thing: no ice maker, just an empty ice tray in the freezer, but they said "no ice makers in hotel because you'll have the ice you need in your freezer". And we wish they had Animal Planet. Perfect location. Comfortable & clean. Staff was very pleasant and went out of their way to be helpful. Great business hotel. Tasha Horton, director of sales, was especially helpful and interested in how my stay was. I will return and would highly recommend.

We were more than impressed with our stay on Easter weekend. The staff was more than helpful, recomending shops and restaurants, and when we asked for directions, they sugested we take advantage of the hotel's complimentary shuttle service! It made our stay that much easier.
"Very Nice Stay"
We only stayed one night for a concert in town but were very impressed with the hotel. The staff member were very courteous. I was pleased to see that they enacted some rules due to the concert being in town that required guests to be quiet after hours. Overall a very nice stay.
"Nice, new hotel"
Had a great stay in October '09 - rooms are still basically new and the continental breakfast provided was nice as well. It's a few blocks to all of the main shops, restaurants, etc, but overall nice location down near the waterfront.
