"Easy Access to I-40"
Excellent accommodations and amenities. Restful. Beautiful mountain vistas. Would defintely stay here again.

Very easy to find off I40. Quitet. Good restaurants close by, we ate at Fatz. Easy to get to Biltmore mansion and Navitat zip line.

Country Inn and Suites was easy to find. We entering the hotel, we were warmly greeted by the staff on duty. Check-in was quick and the hot coffee and chocolate chip cookies were appreciated. We were in a large room with a king-sized bed that overlooked the mountainside. I liked the fact that the large flat-screen tv was atop the bureau that housed […] a refrigerator and a microwave (behind bureau doors) as well as storage drawers. There was also a desk and chair as well as a comfortable reading chair to relax in and hassock . The room temperature was comfortably controlled by a digital wall thermostat. The granite bathroom countertop was spacious enough for two sinks but only consisted of one. The bathroom accommodations were adequate. I am an early riser and enjoyed coffee in the breakfast area before anyone else arrived. Breakfast itself was excellent with pastries, sausage, eggs, bacon, waffles, hashbrowns, and french toast as well as the usual coffees, teas, hot chocolate, juices and cereals. There was a pot of hot oatmeal with various condiments. I was told that the outdoor pool was heated, but when I stuck my hand in it, it only felt warm (the hot tub felt a little warmer.) It was quite windy when we were there, and there was a great deal of pollen in the air. Since the temperatures were in the 30's at night and only in the 50's during the day, we didn't actually try either. We hope to the next time we visit. "Very clean and comfortable"
We stayed in this location recently on a visit to Biltmore. This hotel is very clean and comfortable. It is relatively new and the hotel staff were very helpful with directions in the surrounding area. We did check in late at night (around 10pm) and there was only one clerk on duty and she seemed a bit swamped with the phones and checking in people. "Country Inn and Suites in Asheville"
Breakfast was good but it was crowded. A line for the Waffle maker seemed to be never ending but finally got to have one. Fitness room was great and doesn't seem to be a high priority by many people staying here. I was the only one in there two days in a row and the second day I was in there for an hour and a half. Nice hotel and good price.

This hotel was very good value for the money. I do not know how old it is, but it is in pristine condition, very clean and comfortable. We usually stay in a different brand hotel but this place will make us always consider Country Inns and Suites. Unless you need high luxury this place may be for you. "Ashville Cross Country Inn"
We spent 3 nights the last week of March here and it had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was great, a different menu each morning with a very dedicated host to keep things fresh and stocked. The beds were very comfortable. It is easy access to downtown, even though the map from the front desk was a bit off scale. Overall, a great value.

My husband & I stopped in Asheville for a one night stay to explore Biltmore. The Country Inn & Suites in very convenient, very cozy, and very clean. I would highly recommend. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was more than just cereal & juice!

We needed a nights stay on our way to Hilton Head Island, SC. It was right on our way and the room and personnel of the hotel were great. The hot breakfast was dynamite. Thank-You much!! We will recommend this hotel to anyone who ask.

The Country Inn and Suites in Asheville, NC was a great stay! The service was hands down excellent and the staff was amazing! Very helpful in everything we asked about and gave some great recommendations too! Plus the hotel has free cookies! Come On who doesn't like that! Nice hotel. A little bit off the main road, but there are helpful signs. We had a king sized bed in a room, not a suite. Everything was clean. No fan in the bathroom, which caused a lot of steam to build up, but not that big of a deal. Air conditioner worked great. We had a "mountain" view out our window. Breakfast in the morning was good. It's nice […] to stay somewhere that gives you a hot breakfast. On the day we ate they had eggs, bacon, potatoes, and biscuits. They also have a waffle maker and a separate section that had fruits, cereals, and oatmeal. No one should go hungry with all of the choices. Good coffee and juice too. We enjoyed staying at the Country Inn in Asheville. Our room was very clean and attractive. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast. Although it wasn't as close as we wished to Biltmore, we learned our way around. The best thing was the price. It was an exceptional value!
"Very Good Place to Stay!"
Friendly staff, Well maintained property, clean room. One of the best hotel showers I have ever used: the controls were easy to use, and the shower head was high enough I didn't have to duck under it. Our room was a Whirlpool King room. The whirlpool tub was very good, however there were gaps between the tile on the floor around the tub and the carpet […] that weren't covered by the transition cover. Not a big deal, but means you have to watch your step around the tub. The bed was a typical hotel bed: the mattress was too stiff and the pillows were too soft. This is probably fine if you are a back sleeper, but if you are a side sleeper like me, it will be difficult to get comfortable. It's not as close to the Biltmore Estate as they would want you to believe, but you can be there in less than 10 minutes. The room has a mini fridge and a microwave, and they are hidden from plain sight so as not to be an eyesore. Can't speak for the internet access, the business center, or the free breakfast, as we didn't use any of that. Læs mere

We stayed 2 nights and found this hotel very comfortable and clean clean. It was in a great location back off the main highway so less noise,but conveniently located. The people next to us made a lot of noise the first night but eventually quieted down.The second night was super. Continental breakfast was good also, I would definitely stay again

Took the wife to Asheville for a weekend trip and had a wonderful experience at the hotel with service and interaction with others customers.

My wife and I were impressed by the cleanliness and creature comforts in the room. The staff was great at the desk. I would recommend not staying near the ice machine, that area was a little noisy. Nice selection for breakfast, but the staff needs to be aware of refilling the hash browns to make sure they use a new pan and not to put fresh hash browns […] on top of older product. "One night getaway"
I booked a room for an overnight getaway with my wife of 20 years (and 5 kids) to go to the Biltmore. Everything I hoped it would be. The room was great. the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was perfect and we had a wonderful time.
The room and services were ok except that there needs to be a curtain that can be drawn at night so the room is dark and light is not shining through it. Also, the fridge in the room is very noisy and it woke me up during the night.

the overall stay was very good. location was fine. we couldn't get the temperature to go down on the heat ,finally had to turn on the air-conditioner. outside the window there was snow on the mountain....... i notified the desk next morning and was compensated for the problem.

Perfect for our weekend Asheville and chimney rock exploration. We upgraded to a king suite which i recommend because that size of room was compact but perfect. Breakfasts were great, staff was great. Only small issue was not much water pressure in shower.
