Traders Hotel Qaryat Al Beri Abu Dhabi, by Shangri-la - Abu Dhabi City

Coming in from a foolishly early flight we were delighted to be able to use our room very early indeed. The style is modern, like a Habitat showroom, and despite it being great hotel it is in the shadow of its more luxuriously decored sister hotel Shangri-La next door. A small beach always had plenty of room during the day, but became packed with non-residents […] in the evening, to the point where we could not find anywhere to sit one night. The hotel pool was being refurbished, so we could use the Shangri La's nicer pool, which had views of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque over the creek, whereas the view from Traders was blocked by a new hotel on the other side. In fact, having the Shangri La next door meant there were four or five options for eating in the evening, in addition to Traders itself. Wifi was reliable, though didn't reach outside (no beachside browsing) although the Shangri Las did. This review might sound like the hotel is in the shadow of the Shangri La, and to an extent it is, but it is a good modern hotel in its own right. One thing to note, while a tour to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque was fantastic, there is little to draw you to Abu Dhabi city itself. A £55/just over an hour taxi ride to Dubai is well worth it if you want a day out. Læs mere

We (wife, 2year old son and myself) stayed at the hotel for 4 nights, booked a Traders Club room, which included the executive longe. It was very worth it. Staff super friendly and supportive, breakfast great, and the cooperation with the Shangri-la was nice. We had a room looking to the building works nect to the hotel, and from time to time it was […] a bit noisy, but not very disturbing. The pool at Traders was still under refurbishment, we shared the pool of Shangri-la, which was pleasant. I am a little bit scared if this opportunity won't continue, because the pool area of the Traders Hotel isn't that great. Læs mere

Extremely friendly staff, great hotel for this price, good food and very comfortable rooms. my best hotel on this trip... Very beautiful view along the river. Wish I child stay longer.

Nice hotel at a good value, but there is construction of another hotel next door, so rooms on that side might be noisy.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights. The quality of service is a little below average. My first room smelled of mildew and I had to wait a few hours before they would give me another room. The breakfast buffet was included with the room, but not that great, got sick both days. The cereal was stale and the hot food was not hot. The location is off of […] a highway and not close to many things. When I asked the concierge about tours, she said we dont have any tours and didnt even offer to help arrange a drive.For the price, it's average but would recommend paying a little more and staying at the Grand Hyatt. I have stayed at many different hotels in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This hotel seems to be moderately priced when compared to other hotels in their class. Conveniently located near a small grocery market within the Qaryat Al Beri complex. Prices at the market were comparable to that of stores in the area.

The hotel is very good and the rooms are clean and spacious. But the staff is inefficient with a very slow check in process.

Traders hotel is in a very nice location overlooking the creek that seperates the island of Abu Dhabi from the mainland, with a nice little beachfront and walks along and thru the Shangri La complex. I stayed with my wife for 6 nights for what was to be a quiet relaxing break. It is very well appointed, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. […] The rooms are very nice and the overall facilities are good - what I would rate as 4 star, on an international scale. However , there are building works underway on a seperately owned office block immediately adjacent to the bedroom block we were allocated, and work was ongoing 24 hours a day during our stay, with concrete pours thru the night, and general work comencing at 7 am in the mornings. We were informed of this on arrival at the desk, and there was a letter from the manager in the room with further details about the works, but we were not informed at the time of booking, and this was a major disappointment.This problem will continue until the building works are completed. A second noise problem which I think will be made worse by the construction of the office block and will not go away when the building works are completed is the noise from functions in the garden of the adjoining Fairmont Hotel. We experienced a late night function in the adjoining garden and because of the layout of the 2 buildings, a sort of canyon effect is created and the noise from the garden is focused in the canyon between the Traders bedroom block and the office block. It was a weekend night and the very loud party went on until about 3 am. In addition the service at the restaurant was very poor. We ate there on the first night and our main course arrived before we were finished our starter course. The following days lunch and another evenings dinner took almost an hour to arrive from ordering. Excellent hotel overall. Very pleased with our stay. The only criticism would be that there appeared to be some confusion at reception I.e. We had late check out but when we returned to our room we could not get in as our key was void. Also there was some confusion as to what we were entitled to with club rates. Our stay at the Traders Hotel was short be fantastic. From the moment we walked in after a late arrival we felt very welcome. The hotel was very comfortable and relaxing, the rooms were well furnished, the bed was a little hard though. This hotel is a good quality hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are large, clean and new. The location is about 15 km out of Abu dhabi but there is a shuttle bus to the Mosque and into the city. Also taxis are abundant and very cheap. We ate at the restaurant at the hotel and enjoyed the meal and service. I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions. The staff makes you feel welcome from the minute you walk in the door. Very accommodating for special requests (for example ......they let me check in at about 9:30 AM after a long flight).

This hotel was beautiful, on the water, near an upscale shopping mall. High quality for an excellent price.

We stayed at Traders Hotel in Aba Dhabi in a Superior Club room for 3 nights on a stop-over and recommend this highly. Well worth the extra cost. The Breakfast is superb with choices to suit everyone and the evening 'Happy Hour' (which is 2 hours) is great with drinks and plenty of quality hot and cold snacks included. The hotel itself was lovely. Great pools, service, and the rooms were nice. It is far away from the main town itself, but taxis are easy and very accessible. The pools were wonderful and since we were there in June, we mainly stayed by the pools! It would have been nice to be closer to more restaraunts, but there was a good selection of food is the […] souk next door. I HIGHLY recommend upgrading to a traders room where you get free breakfast (which was amazing!) and food and booze in the afternoons. We arrived on a stopover to Bangkok, the hotel is close to the airport, so it was easy to get to. we requested a room on the quiet side of the hotel and were given a spectacular upgrade which was complimentary of the hotel as the room was available with a magnificent view of the sea and sheikh zayed mosque. the quality of the hotel and room was very […] good, i would compare to a 5 star even. taxi was always available outside and as part of a complex there are shops and restaurants around to eat in the local area. I stay in Abu Dhabi for business - Traders is located in an area called Between the bridges at the Shangri-La complex. Between the hotels (Shangri-La and Traders) there is a souk with good quality restaurants and a number of great beaches and pools. My biggest complaints are that the Internet is poor and the reception staff is pleasant but slow.

stinking lobby, unclean elevators, very poor quality of construction, extremely small bathroom, no water pressure in the shower, extremely poor service. All trademarks of Abu Dhabi Tourism Authoity projects. Check out Crystal hotel and compare the service and the rooms.

酒店环境好，服务业很热情，就是离市区比较远，不过酒店门口随时都有的士，总体来说还是性价比蛮高的

Veldig flott hotell som ligger senmtralt til det aller meste i Abu Dhabi. Vennlighet og service til ansatte er veldig bra og proffesjonell. Bassenget var stengt pga reparasjon men basseng facilitetene til Shangrila som ligger ved siden kunne benyttes. Strengnene var alle tiders

Jättefint hotell med trevliga rum. Hotellets läge är inte det bästa, ligger en bit utanför centrala Abu Dhabi, och på hotellets baksida är det mest grus. Framsidan är desto bättre, med egen stand. Hotellet ligger också väldigt nära Sheik Zayid mosken, där ett besök kan rekommenderas. Traders sitter ihop med stora Shangri-La, som har 10+ restauranger. […] Där finns även flera pooler och stränder (som man som boende på Traders dock Ej får nyttja, oklart hur mycket den regeln kortrolleras). Tolles Hotel in zentraler Lage. Wir haben ein Upgrade auf ein Clubzimmer vorgenommen. Lohnt sich, wegen der Lounge. Was uns nicht gesagt wurde, dass es außer Frühstück auch abends Essen und Getränke gibt. Leider haben wir das erst am letzten Tag erfahren. Der Manager hat dieses Versehen aber sehr kulant gelöst.

Ein super Hotel. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und die Zimmer ließen keine Wünsche offen. Kann man nur empfehlen.

Impecávelmente limpo, moderno, confortável e com uma relação qualidade/preço imbatível. Óptimo pequeno-almoço, bem como os snacks servidos no Club Lounge entre as 18:00 e as 20:00, jantares razoáveis. Pessoal simpático e atencioso. Sem dúvida um hotel a voltar e que recomendo vivamente!

Hotel liegt mehr oder weniger im Gewerbegebiet. ins Zentrum von Abu Dhabi recht weit. D. h. wer eine preiswerte Übernachtung bei gutem Komfort und sehr aufmerksamem Service sucht ist hier bestens aufgehoben.

Hotel maravilhoso ! Pode se dizer que é um 5 estrelas, quarto maravilhoso, e muito confortável. A unica coisa que faz não se tornar um 5 estrelas é a cozinha, que fica um pouco a dever poucas opções e a comida também não é muito saborosa

a spacious hotel with good rooms, however the service must be the weirdest i have ever come a cross. it was simply slow, they hardly spoke english, everything took forever, and lots of misunderstandings. Still I will return to the hotel
