Great Wolf Lodge Concord Charlotte - Concord

Kids had a great time. Convenient to shopping and food. Restaurants in hotel were reasonable. The MagiQuest game was a hit with the older kids. The 3 year old lived the shows in the lobby. Overall great. We stayed one night and spent two days. It was enough to do most everything.

This was the first time my family has visited a Great Wolf Lodge and we are already planning our next visit! We were absolutely amazed at the resort and the feel of decor etc. The water park was so much fun and so easy to access. Check-in was quick and the check out process is automatic so no waiting in a long line to turn keys in before leaving. We only stayed for one night, but I was very pleased with Great Wolf Lodge. I thought that staff were very nice & helpful. Our room was clean and cozy, and the kids had a blast. Very easy to find and get to - plenty of restaurants surrounding. Worth the money & drive from Atlanta, and we will probably return annually.

It was fun til we came back from the waterpark to discover my brand new iPhone was broken! I was very upset and they blamed me for it cause they are not liable for anything so it was not fun after that!

We enjoyed immensely our son's 12th birthday celebration with 3 of his friends--On the ride home we talked about everything we did and all that was offered at your place---It took us 2 hours to get home and we talked aout The Great Wolf Lodge for over half that time--Thank you

Loved this place. My children were comparing it to Disney World. My only complaint was that my pillow on the bed was like a rock. Everything else was great. My 3,5 and 7 year old were very entertained the ENTIRE time and cried when we had to leave. We will be returning soon!

Great for the kids, secure, safe. Felt the cost was a bit much because everything except for the water park was extra, although the water park was very nice, well maintained, with life Guards everywhere.

I was able to get a much better rate online than calling the hotel directly. When I spoke to the reservation person att he hotel in NC and told her I could get a rate online that was $100 less than she quoted she told me I was wrong! Over all the hotel was great with tons of things for the kids to do. The waterpark was lots of fun, although it did get chilly at times. There is also a huge mall close by where we could get some Christmas shopping done before going to the resort. Check out is at 11 but you can stay at the waterpark until it closes. Kids had a great time. They loved the Kids Kamp room with the bunk beds. Only negative was the food... Very medicocre but there are a number of restaurants surrounding the hotel.

Wonderful place for a family. Perhaps less so if you are on a budget and have trouble telling your children "no". We "just" enjoyed the water park which was really great, and did not let the kids do the MagiQuest, though they were disappointed by that. Oh, and we had to tell the kids "no" to the arcade as well. We took our own breakfast food and ordered […] dinner from Pizza Hut to avoid paying the high food prices. We had 4 kids and 4 adults and though the kids were free, we didn't want to spend $80 on 4 buffets when we could get pizza for $25. The lifeguards and staff at all the water rides were spot on target, watching the goings-on very carefully. Kids running around doing the MagiQuest didn't bother me, in fact, I enjoyed seeing them so involved in it. Towels and seats were abundant at the water park though my daughter thought it was much more crowded than when they went previously. We visited the hotel with another family; 4 adults and 4 kids (all under 6y/o). Really enjoyed the variety of family and kid friendly activities. All employees that we dealt with were really laid back and cool. This is our 5th time at GWL and the grandchildren love it. They beg to go here every year for their birthdays. The employees match the service and care of a Ritz Carlton. The hotel is not as clean as it should be. I had to ask to have my room cleaned on my second day. My room didn't get cleaned until almost 3:30pm on my second day. I needed clean linen among other things. The staff also has horrible customer service. For this to be a vacation site or resort, the customer service is not good. This was our fourth time here and the rooms were even better than before with new comfortable mattress, newer carpet.The staff is incredible. In the Wolf den type room, the bed is very small for two adults, it was either a full or small queen size. Also the bath towels are very small and inexpensive. Yet, we come for the memories with our grandchildren […] The staff gives it their all. The dining room serves delicious food. And our grandchildren talk about it for a year, until we go again. We had a great time at Great Wolf Lodge. As locals, we had been before but not within the last year or so. Our daughters are 13 and 16 and were looking forward to the teen center. It was replaced with a bowling alley, but they enjoyed that just as much. The hotel was at full capacity but the lines for the water rides weren't long at all. Stayed one night - my two children loved loved loved the indoor water park and the arcade. Plenty of restaurant choices nearby as well as shopping. If we would have stayed longer, would have considered a trip to the Charlotte raceway. Yes, it is worth the cost.

We arrived at 6:30 pm and recevied the best service from the first person to the last. The kids got to play in the waterpark until 9pm. The buffet ended at 9 so we had to order a la carte, but the food was amazing & kids still ate for free. Dinner was less than $50, which was cheaper than the meal we had at the nearby Olive Garden the next night. (We […] did leave to get a cheaper lunch at McD's, about 1 min away.) Our room, the Great Bear Suite (we had 3 adults, 3 kids, and a toddler), was incredible! Very spacious, comfortable, and clean. The only thing that was overlooked was the water reservoir for our coffee maker; it had mildew in it and morning coffee was skipped. Being such a large party and having traveled several hours the day before, we had trouble getting out of the room prior to the 11am checkout, but we stayed as waterpark guests until 7pm when the kids had had their fill. The common changing rooms and restrooms were so shockingly clean (the floors were dry!) that it was not even the slightest inconvenience to not have the room after 11:00, but the room was so nice we wish we had arrived earlier just to enjoy its comforts. There are extremely attentive and friendly lifeguards everywhere who complement your good parenting. The Concord Mills area has eveything you need if you dare leave the Lodge. Considering how much we paid for one night, we tried to spend every minute possible in the waterpark, which is the only thing you can do without incurring extra costs. Læs mere

We stayed for 2 days and took the waterpark by storm. My four and five year old daughters enjoyed themselves so much. My five year old remarked that it was the "epic adventure of my life." The service and staff were awesome. The reputation of the Great Wolf Lodge held up in Concord. The cleaning staff took care of every need and the room was very clean. […] Operations worked like a well-oiled machine. Be prepared to spend a little extra on top of the resort stay: kids will want the magic wands or a trip to scoops or the game room. this was great fun, even for the parents. Great idea with the room key scanned into the wrist band. We didn't have to worry about misplacing keys or even keeping up with personal towels, since they were furnished in the water park also.

Perfect! Would be amazing to go as a family. There is so much to do, kids can literally run free and parents won't have to worry about their safety. We went as a young adult couple and had a blast! We never got bored at the water park, or bowling, or playing putt-putt and it's right across the street from a huge mall. Perfect location and great vaca […] spot.
