Hotel Indigo Athens University Area - Athens

I took my daugher to Athens to look a UGA and we stayed at the Hotel Indigo. The front desk clerk was the nicest young man and gave us recomendations of things to see and places to eat while we were there. Nice hotel and pretty close to center of action in Athens . Didn't like the $10 per day extra for parking .

I loved this hotel. It was convenient, clean and I love the clean lines and comfortable and business-friendly set up of this hotel. As a road warrior, I miss my family and my pets. Stayed here for the Atlanta Tough Mudder. The walk to downtown (half mile) was further than we expected, but worth it for us. The hotel itself was great, our room was very nice and quiet and clean. Other members of our team complained about noisy neighbors (they were on a different floor), but also thought their room was pleasant and clean. Dog friendly […] which was a plus for us. Also, the staff were very professional and courteous, and truly helpful. The bar/restaurant was a nice place to grab breakfast and room service was good too. I would definitely recommend this place. Loved everything about this hotel, great room and bath, liked the bar. I still think asking guests to pay for parking is dumb.

The Hotel Indigo in Athens, GA is conveniently located in downtown Athens. It is in walking distance to many unique shops and local restaurants. The hotel staff were plesant and helpful.

I booked two rooms for my son's 21st birthday trip to see the bulldogs and wildcats football game. We were wowed from arrival to check-out. Blake and the entire staff go out of the way to make the stay enjoyable. They even provided special amenities the evening of my sons birthday as a "Thank you" for our business. Hotel stay was fantastic! Only suggestion would be to offer snack vending machines or some late-night room service options (could be pre-made salads, chips and dip, etc.). We ended up ordering a pizza after the concert.

Very pleasant brief stay while moving my freshman daughter in to UGA. Previously stayed at the Georgia Center on campus. This was less expensive and far more enjoyable. Excellent and courteous staff, most especially the night manager, Ryan.

This was my second trip in the last year to Athens, and I've stayed at the Indigo both times. I love this hotel, my wife loves it. The staff is courteous, the food is fantastic, the rooms are spacious and beautiful, everything is clean, neat, and even better - eco-friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Indigo. With its proximity to the main downtown shops, restaurants and "The Melting Point" music venue, we were able to walk to most places. It's very centrally located and was extremely comfortable. We really enjoyed the coffee and tea setups in the foyer on our floor near the elevators...it was nice not to have […] to trek downstairs and buy coffee (this was free!) We really enjoyed the room--very clean! We also liked the hotel's "green" technology where you put your cardkey in a slot when you're in your room to turn on your lights...interesting feature I had not seen before. We loved everything about the Hotel Indigo from the moment we arrived. The staff was warm and helpful, the room was chic and very zen and we had gotten an amazing price from hotels.com! Nearly everything about the hotel is green and sustainable from the organic food they serve to the electricity in the rooms - this was a BIG plus! We did have major […] issues once we settled in for the night, however. We were on the penthouse level and apparently so was a group of very drunk partiers who were screaming, playing guitar, fighting in the hallway and playing music at the top volume until 2am. Normally, I wouldn't care, but we had 2 small children with us and this was keeping them, and us, awake. We called down to the front desk no less than 6 times. Each time they sent hotel security up to take care of the problem and each time, as soon as security left, they would start right back up. This went on from 11:30pm - 2am. Finally the noise died down and we were able to sleep. When we woke up in the morning, our bill had been slid under the door. As a means of apology, not only did the hotel comp our night, but our room service and parking fee and even included vouchers for free breakfast down in the cafe. For a few hours of trouble in an otherwise DREAM hotel, the staff really went above and beyond to rectify the situation and to make sure we would come back. The Hotel Indigo was great! Clean, comfortable, convenient to UGA and downtown Athens, and very friendly. I will stay there again and feel very good about recommending it to others.

modern hotel. Centrum is aan te lopen. Parkeren is betaald, maar in de nabijheid van het hotel s'nachts grratis. Als je een kamer met ontbijt hebt geboekt, vergeet niet de ontbijtcoupon te vragen zij vergeten hem te geven. De coupon is $15 per kamer waard. Ontbijt is allen ala carte, keuze zeer beperkt en de muffins lijken wel een beschuit.
