We actually booked this hotel after a nightmare experience at another Miami hotel that we refused to go back to and this was wonderful! We were flying out the next day so it was perfect place to stay after our cruise and the cab fare to get there wasn't too bad. Also, there is a free shuttle to the airport. My stay at the hotel was generally nice. The staff was nice for the most part witha coupe of exceptions. But if you forget something in the room do not expect to get it back. The shutl service could also use some. We missed our flight home because relied on it a little too much.

WE LIKE THE HOTEL BUT THERE ARE TWO INCONVENIENCES..... 1) A SAFE BOX IS NEEDED IN THE ROOM AND 2) WHY DOES A MARRIOTT MEMBER HAVE TO PAY $15 PER DAY FOR PARKING. IN MY OPINION IT IS A LITTLE TOO EXPENSIVE. SHOULD BE CONSIDERED FOR PEOPLE THAT STAY ALL THE TIME AT THE MARRIOTT'S. THANK YOU.

Great hotel for short or longer stay. Convenience of breakfast daily, starbucks close by with restaurants on the Marriott campus. Clean and well maintained, staff is up to the task of keeping the hotel in good condition. Gym and pool small but adequate.

We stayed here for one night in advance of a week-long Caribbean cruise. The free shuttle from the airport was very convenient, and the room was spacious, fully-equipped and comfortable. The free breakfast was terrific-- not just rolls and coffee, but eggs, french toast, waffles, etc.

The airport shuttle dropped us off (complimentary) at the Residence Inn, and we saw that it was a complex of Marriott owned hotels. There was a self contained Starbucks, sports bar, gym, and pool all available (as well as other amenities) for our use. We just had to walk on a sidewalk to go from our hotel room to the other buildings. The room was beyond […] our expectations. It had a separate seating area and kitchen which would have been great for entertaining. We only stayed for one night because we were leaving for a cruise, but if it were for longer it would be the perfect place, as they had so much available for extended stays. They would even grocery shop for you. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. The free breakfast buffet was one of the best I have seen. My husband and I were very pleased with the overall stay to begin our vacation! Thank you so much! Occasionally we did hear the airplanes, but that would be expected being so conveniently located near the airport. It did not disrupt our time whatsoever. When we checked out the desk clerk called us a taxi and by the time we got outside the taxi was driving up the driveway. We couldn't ask for more. Læs mere

he hotel was very clean, front desk staff friendly and room was great. The only thing I didn't like was I was only there for one night but I can guarantee that I will be staying there on my next trip to Miami.

This hotel, which is located in a gated compound with other Marriott properties, is very accessible from downtown Miami and the airport. Although under the flight path of departing jets from MIA, we were not bothered by the noise. There are several restaurants on LeJeune Rd. and Calle Ocho and its Cuban restaurants are not too far away.

We got a special deal for the night through Expedia so we stayed at the Residence Inn in the "Marriott complex". Picked up the free shuttle at the airport and were driven right there. The room was as promised. Clean, spacious and quiet! We went to eat at the nicer restaurant at the other Courtyard Marriott, but it was noisy and crowded. They had odd […] tables and we were seated about 4 feet apart. Not our idea of a nice dinner. Walked over to the sports bar at the Marriott Hotel......much better. Had a nice dinner, walked back to the Residence. We left early, and the shuttle was there right on time, as promised. The staff at the hotel as very good, including the shuttle driver. Læs mere

This is a great hotel in a 4-hotel complex of Marriott facilities. It is either fairly new/refurbished or is remarkably well kept, as the rooms and common areas are sparkling, bright, clean and inviting. The shuttle (free) from the airport is a short ride as is the cab ride to the cruise port. There are on-site restaurants as well as a few good sites […] just a short walk away. Stay was from Dec. 30, 2010 to Jan. 2, 2011. Residence Inn room very clean and comfortable. Very good quality vs. price paid with Expedia. Great breakfast buffet. A lot of people in transit to the airport or the cruise terminal. The staff is extremely helpful and always doing their best to answer our various questions.

Very convenient to the airport, a short drive to Port of Miami and South Beach. My GPS couldnt locate it, but may just be out of date. The free breakfast was very nice. The staff was sometimes very friendly and other times somewhat rude.

This hotel is excellent value for your money. Clean, comfortable and free breakfast buffet. Only stayed one night before my cruise. It was perfect, and i would certainly stay there again.

The minute you walk into the lobby the decor is very modern and clean. The gal that checked us in was "very" friendly and it's the fastest check-in I've ever experienced. The rooms are suites and are huge! Everything is brand new, marble counter tops in the kitchen and bathroom, microwave, full size refrigerator, 2 burner flat cooktop, microwave, dishes […] and utensils. There is a big flat screen tv that swivels to the bedroom area then to the living area. The entire hotel is non-smoking, yeah, and smells great! this hotel is in a "campus" along with the Marriot and Marriot Courtyard, they are diferen pools, restaurants and services that you have access to for all properties. We stayed here the day before we took a cruise and the night after te cruise. The gal at reception remembered us and we upgraded to a "pure" suite which the room has been extra sanitized for persons with allergies and has extras like an air purifier which is classified as a medical device (works great!) and has allergen free bedding and a/c unit has been treated also. The 1st night we walked down the street to a great cuban restaurant , the 2nd night we ate @ Champions sports bar in the 1 hotel on "campus" which was very good! You're only 5 minutes from the airport and they have a complimentary shuttle that runs every 15minutes. I will stay here again the next time I go to Miami, you will not be disappointed!! Læs mere

Hotel was perfect. I had to over-night in Miami for a flight out of the country the next day. This hotel was great. Quick and easy pick-up at the airport with their free Marriott shuttle. Remember, you get picked up in the DEPARTURES area, not arrivals. Hotel is 5 minutes from the airport, but you never hear any plane noise. Check-in literally took […] about one minute. Room was very spacious and had a very night sitting area with a seperate area for the bed. Also, there was a full kitchen. Would have been great if we were staying more than 13 hours. Bed was good. Everything was very clean and working. Champions restaurant at the Courtyard next door was very good and reasonably priced. Shuttled back to the airport the next morning with no problems. An included hot breakfast buffet was a very nice touch. This was really one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. My husband and I stayed at this hotel one night before taking a cruise. It was a beautiful location, the room was very modern and honestly, it's the nicest place we've ever stayed at! We both really enjoyed our time there and the breakfast was phenomenal! We both HIGHLY recommend if you are in the Miami area.

Marriott Residence Inn Airport South exceeded our excpectations. Free dinner social in the evening and a beautiful breakfast buffet in the morning. The room was perfect and even had complimentary popcorn. The staff was friendly and helpful. The free airport van had extended hours to accommodate our 1100 pm arrival flight and our 6am departure flight. […] The gym was great because all the equipment had individual tvs. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. I booked a room in this Hotel through Hotels.com without really expecting anything else but a good and quiet night before continuing my long journey the next day. However, what I found out when I got into my room exceeded all my expectations, and I wished, at that very moment, that I had more than one night to spend there! The room was so spacious, […] so clean and so well organized. The room was so comfy that I had to all the front desk the day I was check-out to ask for extra moment after the check-out time as I was having hard time to let the room go. The hotel is located near Miami International Airport, but at the same time you don't hear anything around you, no noise or anything that may disturb your sleep. Plus, they have a breakfast buffet that allows you to start the day better than ever... The only thing that I didn't like about this hotel was during my check-in process. I found the staff who was on duty that night was cold and not really as friendly as she should have been...giving the condition of the hotel and everything that it has to offer, I would have expected a much more warmed welcome. I later met up with other staff from the hotel who were way more friendly that the one I found when I checked-in...I just wished that not all guests meet that staff I found when they check-in or when I need info from the front desk. Wonderful stay. Our friend stayed at a different hotel and spent most of the time in our room because the room was so comfortable and well equipped. The complex is well maintained and our room was really quiet at night. Our stay was three nights and every staff member we ran into were super friendly and helpful! This hotel was great for us. We arrived in Miami the day before our cruise and stayed one day after our cruise. We were able to check-in early both days (our flight in arrived at noon, and we got off our cruise and to the hotel at 9:30am). The airport shuttle service was perfect and runs as early as 5am, and it runs every 15 minutes, so we didn't have […] to wait long at the airport. The hotel is very close to the airport, so the shuttle only took about 5 minutes. They arranged the shuttle bus to the cruise port, but we did take a taxi from the cruise port to the taxi (the return trip). It was almost the same price for 2 people for a taxi as for the shuttle bus. The decor is very modern and fun--not the same old boring hotel look. A nice hot breakfast. The full kitchen would be great if we were staying long enough to use it. Læs mere

El hotel es muy bueno en cuanto atención y u ubicación lo que no me gusto es que la recepción no manejan dos idiomas solo inglés en el turno de la noche y no tiene room service si quiere algo de comer hay q bajar a buscarlo al hotel del al lado.
