God oplevelse på denne årstid, men jeg tro der bliver rigtig varme om sommeren. Rigtig flot gårdhave og morgenmaden helt i top.

Et 4-stjernet hotel kan man bestemt ikke kalde Residenza di Ripetta. Det trænger til en seriøs upgrade af de nedslidte værelser. Lobby osv er som altid af udemærket standard (som på billderne), men det snyder som sagt mht værelsekvaliteten. Alt i alt et dejligt hotel med gode værelser med kitchenette og en for Italien høj kvalitet på morgenmaden. Dog var vi lovet køkkenudstyr, men dette skal lejes, og man var løbet tør for "lyn-kogere". Undlad også at bestille roomservice, da der betales et højt gebyr pr. ret, som bestilles og ikke pr. ordre.

We loved the location, close to Piazza del Popolo and some marvellous restaurants, an easy walk from the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. The hotel was very comfortable and pleasant with a high quality breakfast but disappointingly erratic food quality for other meals. Super ophold på dejligt hotel med god service. Værelset var rigtig dejligt og pænt og rent. Stedet kan sagtens anbefales til andre. Hotellet er super beliggende i forhold til serværdigheder, metro og shopping samt cafeer.

The location was great and the inner courtyard was very lovely. The tub in the bathroom was extremely narrow and slippery on the bottom. Don't turn around quickly! Close to Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo.

Main concern was the room .....it was tired and needs refreshing. Walls marked, carpets dirty. And there was no coffee/tea facility in the room contrary to what was advised on the Hotels.com website. However it was in a great location for seeing Rome's attractions. The hotel's public areas are first class and the staff very helpful.

The hotel, room, staff and especially the included breakfast buffet were top notch and alone worth the trip. We were there for only two full days but they were a great two days. Day one was a walking tour through the city past the Trevi Fountain down to the Coliseum. This was a very easy walk from Residenza di Ripetta and the hotel consierge detailed […] the best route to take to see the most sights especially the shopping and dining. Of course Day two was the walking tour to Vatican City and the Sistine Chapel. These two tours are nearly beyond words to discribe. We ended up in this hotel at last moment because of booking problem with our previous one-- Did not book previous one through Expedia--Hotel´s common areas have all been redone and are very pretty, rooms have not. They are comfortable and very large but in need of a facelift. Towels sheets, pillows were good. Excellent location! Service was good. When we arrived the hotel upgraded our room so we were very pleased straightaway. The staff were extremely helpful in providing information and recommending places to see. The last night the hotel had a Halloween party which was directly below our room - it was very noisy but the hotel were very accomodating in offering us another room, coming to the […] party or having complimentary drinks - we took the complimentary drinks which certainly helped!! The location of this hotel is very central allowing us to walk to all the sights or if getting a taxi always costing less than 10 Euros. This hotel was a pleasant surprise! Location is perfect, room was actually a suite. Breakfast was wonderful, staff were incredibly helpful and concierge was well informed and booked things for us. The hotel exceeded our expectations - in a first class position near the Piazza di Popolo. Good sized room (if a little tired) but this did not detract from the rest of the hotel which was stunning. Good breakfast included and wonderful garden area with bar and restaurant for warmer days. Would return again

Very friendly and happy staff, lovely and comfortable room with a balcony that looked over the charming garden where we ate breakfast every morning. The breakfast was as good as buffets go - scramble eggs, bacon, sausage and the other bread and cheeses that come along with a buffet. Generally we enjoyed the hotel,but some furnishings are a little tired. There were late night functions on 2 nights with loud music,which also meant w e couldn't have used the bar had we wanted to. Having requested a 'kitchenette aid' to enable us to make tea,it took about 4 visits for staff to get all we needed. Shower gel was not automatically replaced. Towels […] were excellent and replaced often. Bed linen also changed often. Breakfast is good and restaurant food is plain but adequate. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The room was clean and roomy, especially for a European hotel. The location was perfect; we walked every where - Vatican, Spanish steps, forum, coliseum - but we are very active. The staff was absolutely great. We knew almost no Italian and we communicated with the staff entirely in English without any difficulties. […] The breakfast buffet was excellent and the outdoor/courtyard bar was fantastic! Plus there are plenty of bars and restaurants withins walking distance. There were only two small issues. The water pressure in the shower was a little weak and the lighting in the room was very dim. Hotel location is excellent. Several very good restaurants in close proximity. Room was large but very dark. Only one lamp in seating area making it difficult to read. Sofa and chair in this area very uncomfortable. Bathroom had a very low ceiling making it difficult for a 6ft man to stand straight up while shaving. Visiting Rome for the first time with my children, aged 11 and 7, I purposefully chose a hotel which was situated in an area within reasonable walking distance of the key sites, and the location of this hotel cannot be faulted. The reception we received was not ideal, although the staff were pleasant enough. We arrived an hour before our room was ready […] to check-in and although our luggage was taken care of we were handed a map of the city and basically invited to wander around the local area until the room was ready; traveling with two children since the early hours it would have been appreciated had we been shown to an area within the hotel where we could have relaxed, taken refreshments and informed as to when our room would be ready instead of lurking around the local vicinity! Having booked a Executive Junior Suite I was disappointed with the tired furnishings, the dingy appearance and stained carpets. The room however was clean and the housekeeping staff cannot be faulted. I am aware the rooms are undergoing renovation so I should imagine if you are accommodated in one of the newer rooms. In conclusion the positive aspects of this hotel by far outweigh the negative. The location is ideal. Every street is a little treasure trove of history, food and culture and regardless of whether we return to this hotel, there is no doubt we will return to Rome! Læs mere

This was a nice hotel that was centrally located to all sites within walking distance. There are delicious restaurants located nearby as well as convenient shopping, too. We had the breakfast buffet included which was a great, energy, added bonus. On days when we went to an early tour, we even had a breakfast box prepared for us, that was a great treat […] and helped boost our energy on early days. The hotel staff was accommodating and friendly. They were helpful and warm, too and always greeted us with a smile and a hello bonjourno). Thehotel restaurant was adequate, food was good, service was excellent. The gardens outside for eating were so beautiful, making the atmosphere warm, peaceful and comfortable. The suite was a very nice room, and very spacious. Th elocation of the hotel is excellent and within walking distance to most of the city attractions. Their AC system is terrible and is behind the curtains. Therefore, room temprature during my July stay was unbearable. They gave me a fan when I complained but it did not make much of a difference. It was a lovely hotel...but does need some TLC. The staff was so kind and helpful. The location was amazing...and that makes it so much easier to get to the different sites around Rome. The carpet was really disgusting. Things like that do bother me....but it may not bother other people. We had trouble trying to get wireless internet on our laptop. […] We even paid the fee...which was 18 euros for 24 hours. We did inform them of this...but the issue never did get resolved...which was o.k. with us...we were busy all day site-seeing. It would of been nice to refund that fee back to us. I thought the hotel was very expensive for the quality of the facility. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was a fairly good size. The breakfast buffet is really nice too. The hotel was ok, pretty good location, metro etc just up the road. Our room was E, on the third floor. Lift wasn't working when we arrived but was fixed the next day. Room had a weird smell and the shower was terrible. Very old building with old interior, it is spacious and comfortable for family of four. But very haunted feeling, very dark, big and quite. We felt depressed inside that big room, actually it is split into two floor that makes it as an apartment.

We loved this hotel. Everyone who works there is helpful and friendly. It is a couple of blocks away from the mob of tourist sites so you can walk to all the "must see" attractions but yet get still have some privacy. GREAT coffee and comfy rooms.

We loved the location. You can walk everywhere and great restaurants very close to hotel. Staff was wonderful. Room was very tight. Not enough room to sit at the table. The bathroom was very narrow with limited space for toiletries. Hairdryer was fair.

The front desk staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful, they completely made our stay and the location was fanatastic - walking distance to all the central sites. There was a lovely courtyard to have breakfast in or read a book in. Two things to be aware of. Firstly, the bed was not that comfortable - really hard with a hard pillow and secondly […] they had DJs playing in the courtyard Friday and Saturday night which were very loud in our room, They didn't go on past midnight, but it still wasn't very relaxing when you came back to have thumping music! Perfect location, all tourist hotspots are walking distance. Very good hotel in terms of price and location. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly, the wait at the bar and dismissive breakfast waiter could be improved. However I would very much reccommend this hotel and congratulate the reception team for the way in which they engage with and serve you.

A clean well presented and friendly hotel that's within walking distance of all the major sites. We had to catch a tube train to the Vatican city but that wasn't a problem as the Falamino Metro station was very close by and we were only two stations away. Would return to this hotel again.

This was a great hotel and we felt v relaxed and well looked after here! Buffett Breakfast and Evening Cocktails - Delicious but pricey! Our only negative is with regards to parking our hire car. Before we booked this hotel I called to check they had parking. They did and I was told to call them as soon as we are nearing the hotel to get information […] on where it was. I called the hotel and was told to pull up outside on arrival and they would direct us. On arrival we were told that they had a deal with a car park on the street behind the hotel and all we had to do was reverse down the one way street! I do not recommend trying to do this on a busy, narrow street in Rome where you have the tourist buses, angry police men and crazy scooter riders hurtling at you. It was near impossible and I have no idea why they could not have given us the address on the telephone and saved us 30 minutes of sheer panic! (We gave up in the end and drove another 10 minutes retracing the way we came in!) On leaving the hotel the gentleman in the car park presented us with a bill. At no point had we been informed that we were going to have to pay to use the car park, let alone how much (ALLOT!). We were lucky we had the cash on us! We do not usally drive so maybe we were naive to expect free parking, but I would certianly have expected to have been told the fee on any of the 3 occasions we disucssed the car park with the hotel. Wow! We can't brag enough about this hotel. In no way did it deel like your usual hotel experience. They were all so inviting and extremely helpful. Our check-in and check-out with Angelo was flawless, and they worked really hard to get us an early check-in so we could get to our tour without worrying about our bags. Ervin waited on us in the lovely […] outside dining area, and was very accomodating. The free breakfast was unbelievable! I have NEVER had such a choice of delicious and healthy foods for a "continental" breakfast. Best EVER! When we get back to Rome, there is no other place we would think about staying.
